I hope some day I'll be next to you,
Expressing myself and sharing the different thoughts that come to mind,
I hope that someday I'll cross your mind,
And remind you of all the good times,
When we stared at the stars,
Counting our blessings,
And you never missed the wishing star just to have me around longer,
The world was strong but with you I felt stronger,
I hope that someday you'll look back and see,
How dull our paint brushes are reflecting the distance,
Missing the moments and all the romance,
I hope someday you'll sit on your bed hopelessly sleepless,
With the realization that nights without me are pointless,
I hope someday you'll hold my hand and kiss my forehead,
I hope to see you more than just a friend,
For you'll be the only reason I ever wed,
I hope someday you'll go on your knees,
Avoiding all the fees,
You'll take my hand and dress my finger,
Knowing exactly where I wanna linger,
Watching me mourn out the joy in me
For you alone know where I wanna be,
But hopes are only hopes until I hear you say...
I hope someday...
