Laughter filled the pirate's ears as he slowly woke up in the jail cell on the ship he was now being held captative on, he opened his eyes and looked around at the dingey and wet lower chambers of the ship where moss looked to grown in places, barnacles in others and you could even hear the ocean trying to break its way in right from under them. The pirate tried to move, but found out he was bound by chains attached to the wall of the cell the noise of them notifying the men near looked over noticing him "Ah! Look at that, the pup as woke up hehehe" one of the crewmates chuckled as he continued to play cards while the others joined with only one looking at the chained up pirate with a look of slight concern and wonder, the pirate stared back the old man, he had a long brown beard and his faced was quite wrinkled and deprived, he wore a cook like outfit while the others wore rags and had some daggers with them aswell "Hey pup, just what were you doing out there in the ocean anyway? And what were you doing there with this weird necklace?" said one of raggedy crewmates as he poked at the necklace hanging on the wall dangling there in the darkness with only the redness of the eye in middle of it glowing in his face. "I-I don't know or remember really" the pirate replied as he had no clue on what to say next to them. The other Pirates began to whisper and chatter to one another while the much older pirate stared at him a little longer "Jim, what the hell you staring at the rat for?" said the other raggedy crewmate as the rest continued their game of cards "He kinda reminds me of ma boy back home, Alex, Alexander" the older man said as he walked over to the cage, the young pirate thought the man senile and didn't think much of it until then he looked at his eyes and saw the man was genuinely looking at him as if he was looking at his own kin "Don't mean to be rude, but can I have that necklace back?" Said the young pirate as he stared at the necklace, it's red eye in the center looking directly at him startling him back a bit "A freaky thing isn't it" said one of the crewmates as they grabbed it with Jim taking a look at it and grabbing it from the other crewmate "You looking to get your hands on this hu? Whats so special about this hu?" he said as he stared at the young pirate, but suddenly the ship comes to a halt and everyone aboard titers a bit before the all the crewmates down near the cells ran upstairs.

The captain of the ship looks out as the navy comes around to them from another ship "Captain! What are our orders?" said the crewmate only for the captain to look at the flags and the letters on the ship's hull "We keep out of reach of their cannons and stay back, we have too much cargo to risk wanting to blast them into the deps of the sea" said the Captain as he began to turn the ship away from the navy as the navy ship kept on its course, on the other ship the navy men looked towards the pirate ship as it passed by "Commander?" said one of the men as all of them looked towards the captain. The captain used his telescope to look over towards the pirates "This is a beautiful day, a day in which the sea looks to be shinning like gems or the water drops off a women's breast and yet now these pieces of scum and trash are parading across her beautiful surface" said the captain as he put down his telescope " We'll sink them like we do the others general and then hang them from the mast of their own ship as it sinks, Full course towards the pirates!" shouted as the navy ship then turned towards the pirates "All men battle stations!" shouted the pirate captain as the pirate ship then began to turn around, both ships then began to get their cannons ready as they both started to circle each other. The young pirate in the cell only could hear screaming and shouting above when suddenly dead silence, nothing for a good couple moments before suddenly, a loud bang went off as the front of his cell was destroyed and multiple cannons went off all around him as splinters and debris went flying all over the place as he kept his body close to the floor trying to not get blown to pieces, he then looked towards the wall where the necklace was only for him to remember " If I survive this I'm never going back to the sea" Said the young pirate as he then saw the old man's corpse fall down the stairs with the necklace in hand and in that moment he hears a voice " 2 years " said an ominous voice from what he gathered could be from the necklace, however suddenly the back end of the cell and the ship began to fall apart and into the ocean "shit!" shouted the young pirate as he and the amulet all fell into the ocean the young pirate still being chained to the back end of his cell. As he continued to sink deeper and deeper into the sea he saw the bodies and blood of the crew falling deep into the ocean deps and disappearing within the darkness, He soon began to lose his breathe, but then saw the amulet plummet down towards him and in a risky maneuver he lunged upwards towards it and grabbed it in his mouth intaking loads of water in the process and as he began to black out he then saw a figure swimming down towards him right. He soon would wake up again after coughing out some blood and water as he noticed he was in a rowboat with a few other people dressed in some particularly nice clothes, but his eyes were drawn to the guy holding the amulet he had tried to salvage, he wore a blue and gold navy outfit with fancy shoes and a golden buckle to hold it together, his short yet elegant pale blonde hair flowed in the wind as the waves crashed behind the sinking ship behind him "Cadmus" shouted the navy commander in which the young man with the amulet looked up cementing who he was "Bring up any survivors and we'll take them back to port to let the rest deal with them, we still have a lot more of the sea to check over" said the commander with Cadmus saluting back to him before making his attention towards the young pirate "You, pirate, what were you doing with something like this?" he asked as he put a pistol to the pirate's head, but he got nothing, but silence back "Do you have a name? can you talk?" Cadmus asked as he stared at the young pirate with his cold silver blue eyes and as he stared back at him the young pirate thought of the old man aboard the ship "Alexander" the young pirate responded as he stared back at the cold navy soldier.

Soon Alexander and the other surviving pirates were taken aboard the navy vessel and all were put onto their knees in front of the navy captain "Now what we got here now is a wonderful situation, a bunch of illegal pirates traveling the seas pillaging and robbing whoever they see fit! Well that all ends today" shouted the navy commander as he then looked to his line of soldiers getting ready to shoot the pirates dead in the face when Cadmus suddenly looks towards his commander after hearing him say he was going to spare them moments ago , but held his tongue none the less as he then looked towards Alexzander who was just looking down at the ground in thought not event thinking of what's to come next for him " 2 years...what did that amulet mean?...i guess I might not get a chance to find it out though seeing how my head is gonna be nothing, but empty in a few moments " Alexzander thought to himself as he looked down the barrel of one of the Navy men, as Cadmus held the amulet he began to hear weird voices in his head as some shirked to him and others shouted at him " Put it down...Save him...2 years...it'll be too late " the voices said and just as the commander got ready to lower his arm and get ready to execute all the pirates Cadmus stopped them all dead in their tracks "Wait! We need to keep them alive! That's what our orders were" shouted Cadmus in which the commander, pirates and soldiers all looked to him and then to the commander who seemed shocked at Cadmus's outburst, he began to walk over to him and whisper to him "You want to give these filthy things more time to live? They are nothing more then rapist, murders, and should be disposed of as such" said the commander " I understand that sir..., but we must follow the orders we were given, Sir Beckum wouldn't want to see them given death near the sea, but to hang dry on the dirty land they swore to sail from...don't you think?" Cadmus said as he held the amulet close in his hand and the commander then began to look at him and then the pirates "...Send them to the brig, they'll starve and rot in there until we get back, any that live will be hanged for good measure" said the commander as he then walked into the cabin motioning for Cadmus to follow him, Cadmus waved his arm giving the order and then following close after the commander.

The navy men then tied up the pirates and took them to the brig of the ship and throwing them in cells leaving two guards to watch them while the others began to man the ship and inside the captain's quarters sat Cadmus in a chair in front of his desk while the commander stared out at the sea infront of him "...Why'd you stop me Cadmus?" asked the commander as he slightly turned to him unwilling to show whatever dark expression he had, Cadmus simply held the amulet in his hand as the voices filled his thoughts again and again " Kill the captain...take it to the sea...yes,to the sea...to the depths where no soul has gone " the voices of the amulet said as they just got louder and louder until Cadmus dropped it on the floor to catch his breath, his mind still unsure of what to think of the strange and mystical object he found "Cadmus?" the commander said trying to get the young navy men's attention "My apologies Dennium, I had simply figured it would be best to do as we were instructed otherwise we may be seen as...less then capable" Cadmus said with slight baited breath as Dennium then took a breath and then began to walk around the room of his quarters " But do you see how that made me look in front of the rest of the crew, was your loyalty to the navy that strong that you had to go and do something like that now? Asked Dennium as Cadmus exhaled for a moment fearin he may choke on his own anxiety as he then looked back down towards the amulet the voices coming from it still coming to him as whispers "Cadmus" said Dennium as he sat in front of him getting his attention once again " Whats gotten into you today? You seem a tad, unhinged or even scared " he said in which Cadmus's demeanor somehow changed instantly " Not at all, I was just trying to be sure that orders were followed sir I meant no disrespect " Cadmus said with posture and confidence in his voice. Dennium looked towards him with ice cold eyes trying to pierce that golden boy like excitor and yet somehow it was impossible, his defenses were too great " Hehehehe Well done Cadmus, don't fret boy I ain't mad at ya, now I'll admit that I was shocked when you spoke out like that, but seeing your devotion to the mission, to the navy, to the order of the sea and to your ranking. Now that's a level of dedication that I can sign a reference for Mr.Cadmus " Dennium said as he unfolded a map of the Caribbean. Cadmus a little shocked kept his composure and sat up straight "Well Captain I don't know what to say, but I graciously accept your admiration" Cadmus said as his eye yet again momentarily went to the amulet with Dennium looking up at him slightly "Now do tell me once again, what is it that you are seeking by coming along on all these mission with different captains?" he asked as he continued to map around the Caribbean "Just some experience, it'd be nice to work for the navy and not be entirely incompetent sir" responded Cadmus as he then grabbed the amulet and got up "Well if you don't mind I'd like to rest" Cadmus said as he went for the door out "Oh and Cadmus, Don't let anyone catch you with any treasure, its unbecoming of a young navy man such as yourself" Dennium said giving him a smirk and wink with Cadmus smiling back before closing the door behind him and looking down at the necklace which continued to speak to him, however the voices got less and less as night soon began to fall upon them and eventually it went silent "This amulet, what in the bloody hell is with it, that pirate, Alexzander might know something" Cadmus said, but he then felt himself grow tired and instead decided on taking his leave for his quarters instead and marched to them.

Down below Alexzander and the rest of what was left from that now sunken pirate ship all rested in the cells of the brig of the ship with two guards watching them without a wink of tiredness from their eyes." That amulet, 2 years, something is happening and yet somehow I get the feeling that this may be a bit bigger then me, no, this has to be a sign and perhaps maybe it'll explain who I am and what I was doing in that dark place before all of this" he thought to himself as he looked at the opening to the main deck with the two guards guarding it. He then saw the other pirates as they prayed and some had already slit their throats with some lose wood from the structure " We're no longer safe, the age of Pirates is over I just know it!" shouted one of the pirates near Alexzander as he leaned against the wall thinking how he could get the amulet back in his possession as he then felt the waves as they crashed into the ship and he could hear the sounds of the navy soldiers outside as they worked and laughed a few times. Alexzander thought to himself how the amulet works seeing as how he was still alive even though he was sure he had drowned. The next day Alexzander was woken up by the splash of water on him and the other pirates too, the cook of the ship a women with bright blonde yet dirty hair began to give them slices of meat her eyes staying on Alexzander for a moment as she gave him a little more then the rest and he simply stared at her in wonder, he couldn't remember the last time he had seen a women, especially one with such amazing features and attractive proportions. The cook continued to go through the brig giving everyone some meat and even giving out some wonderful compliments to some of the pirates much to the navy guard's disgust as the two mumbled on about the cook with Alexzander listening in "She sure is a keeper, too bad she can't learn when to shut up and just do her damn job" said one of them navy men while the other just scoffed. The cook then began to make her way out of the brig with one of them men giving her a slap on the bum before she left. As the day grew more hotter the captain then ordered for some of the pirates to work the ship in exchange for more food and water, Alexzander of course joining in the effort. As he worked he began to observe more and more of ship and the crew getting a feel for who was around and who wasn't however his eye couldn't be averted from the man with the amulet on him, Cadmus, he was always watching the pirates and even scolding them when out of line however he had yet to speak with Alexzander yet of course, but this would soon change as Cadmus knew for sure that him and the amulet were somehow connected in someway he just needed to know how first and then he could begin his investigation. The amulet was strange and filled with an odd aura and somehow even voices poured out of it from time to time, was it voodoo? Some sort of witchcraft even? He was very concerned and yet intrigued about what was to come from this amulet, as he inspected it the eye watched him closely as if it somehow was analyzing him as much as he was it.
