~Information~

Ah, yes, the traveler. Did the moon grant you rest? I'm glad. Here, walk with me, and I will teach you the Found. I believe you will like it here.
There, to your left, can you see them? They are our Seers. They see the spirits as they dance in the sky, and watch the way the Wind moves the clouds. They lead us in a certain way, and answer the most difficult of our queries.
There now, straight ahead. The Swift come back from another hunt, successfully, I might add. They provide for us, and we provide our thanks.
Ah, you hear that too? Yes, those are the sounds of our Seekers, sending off. They spend much time away, and train for many cycles to know these lands. They seek for other travelers, such as you, or for supplies that cannot be found here.
Step lightly now, quietly. The Mothers are tucking the kittens into bed now. Yes yes, the sun has just barely risen, but young ones must be raised under the blessed light of the moon.
Here, turn now, follow this path. To your right, no, no your other right. There is a shelter being built even now. Our Weavers spend much of their time supplying safety from the storm and the sun, and we are grateful.
Tch. Don't be scared by their shouts. The Brave are simply training together. They'll break off again come half-peak.
The healers are further off, you shall meet them another time. In such a place as this, we have little need of them, but many travelers are in need of care when they come to us.
Just ahead, you will see our council. All sides of the Found are represented by them, and you can go to them if you would like to truly stay with us.
Who am I? Oh child, that isn't truly important. Oh, if you insist. I am the Speaker. I lead, if you would.
Come, let us go to the council, and we shall find your role in our blessed lives.

The Council
The Speaker
Speaks to the Moon and Wind, kept sacred by never taking a mate. Must sleep at the water's edge.
The Healer
Lives at the water's edge at the Healer's Way. Spends their time caring for the injured and weak. Can retire, but only after having a trained replacement.
Head Brave
The most skilled and senior of the Braves. Can be challenged for their position.
Head Seeker
Plans and sends out Seekers to find supplies and Travelers. Most skilled, and usually the Senior of the Seekers.
Head Swift
Usually a skilled Swift past their running cycles, but still skilled enough to lead.
Head Weaver
Decides and determines where shelters need to be built and repaired. Chosen by the rest of the Weavers.
The Foundlings
The Seers
Communicate with the Spirits in the sky, and the Wind. Must take mates from within the Seers.
The Braves
Train to protect the Found in case of an emergency, though very little danger occurs. Often spend their time in mock fights.
The Seekers
Are sent out to explore and gather supplies, often go into forays into the far woods. Have a long training cycle compared to other Younglings.
The Swifts
Are the hunters for the Found, as well as messengers. Most Swift patrols are accompanied by at least one Brave.
The Weavers
Are directed by the Head Weaver to to fix up and weave new dens and shelters for the Found. Often very lean and flexible cats.
The Younglings
Cats in training to follow in the pawsteps of another role, starting at 6 moons and training until 18 or 24 moons.
The Mothers
They raise the young of the clan, and there is always one permanent mother, usually older, to teach newer mothers what to do
The Retired
They have already serviced the Found with many cycles of dedication, and we then dedicate our time to giving them an easy life through their final cycles.

Foundling Life
The Known Places starts within the Found, which is built at the edge of a pond, and ripples outwards, much of it just grasses and wind. Towards the southeast, the first touches of trees can be found, and this is the direction most travelers come from.
Inside the Found, most cats go about their set patrols and groups, doing what their role requires of them, but when not serving the Found, they are allowed to roam as they wish.
The Found do not face many dangers, though wild animals are sometimes spotted, causing the Found to go silent and empty as the Brave go forth to protect.
They mostly eat field mice and voles, as well as rabbits caught by the Swift. Occasionally, one might find birds at the edge of the Found.
Kittens are raised under the blessed light of the Moon, and once they reach the age of four moons, they are allowed to begin life in the sun.
Kits raised solely in the sun must be healed of it by the Speaker, and kept under the forgiving light of the Moon. Then, and only then, may they return back into the sun.
The Moon is the forgiver and cleanser of all hardships of the outside world, where all are lost and scorched beneath the bitter sun. Only those touched by the moon can withstand the heat of the sun without suffering.
At least, that's what they say.

What This Roleplay Is
This is a structured roleplay. What does that mean? It means that it structured like a command game, but with all of the freedoms of a roleplay.
Each month I will post a new moon. If that is too long between updates, it will be changed to updating on Wednesdays and Sundays.
In each moon, stats and allegiances will be updated. Members of the council will need to be active and post the schedule for each faction of the Foundlings.
There will be certain chains for places in the camp and surrounding areas, but if you wish to make a private chain, simply do so.
Because you have a full moon to play in each update, feel free to time skip, as long it stays coherent in the rest of the moon.
