Hi and hello!

It's that wonderful time of year where writers and readers gather to celebrate newly created stories. The Open Novella Contest is a great way to get your creative juices flowing. I enjoy this challenge because of all the people I meet along the way.

With over one hundred prompts to choose from it was hard to make a decision. But I came across this little gem.

58. The motion sensor light at the back of your house keeps turning on and off. Finally, you go out to investigate.

I've been watching documentaries about Bigfoot. I know what you're thinking, "Bigfoot? You mean the tall hairy guy that lives with the Hendersons?"

No...and yes. I'm referring to Ste ye hah. That's Yakama Native American for, "spirit hidden by woods." Once upon a time, they communed with Ste ye hah. But not anymore...

I hope you enjoy this tale as I attempt to write a full paranormal story for the first time. I am using testimonials from people that have seen this creature to get my information.
