Yeji turned on a stream, letting me join her as none of us felt like sleeping. Maybe the sweets were a huge part of it.

Many people appeared in the chat and we had fun, talking about songs, playing games and so on,...

I forgot about everything because I was happy again.

Mainly for seeing Yeji do something she likes.

However, at the same time I felt a bit sad for seeing so many people watch us on Christmas Eve out of all days.

I had a shift on the last day of the year.

I was sitting behind the cash register, smiling all the time while feeling numb and empty inside.

I spent the free time talking to the girl by the cash register next to me, having spoken about everything and nothing.

"Hey, Jin," I turned around to see one of my colleagues there, "you can go on a break. I'll take care of this for now," he literally pushed me off the chair because I was just taking a breath to refuse. "Just go and eat, you need it."

He'd always look after me. I appreciated that but it'd also make me feel a bit weird as I wasn't used to it.

"Thank you," I said before going to the canteen.

I sat down, putting my lunch in front of me. Having turned my phone on, I started eating, eyes scanning over the display.

At one moment, I opened my chat with Seungmin again.

"See ya"

With a sigh, I turned the device off, putting it aside.

The rest of the shift went by peacefully and before I could realise it, I was in my room again.

That's where I am right now.

I just threw so many things connected to Seungmin out and now I'm writing this all in the notebook, hoping I won't break.

However, I feel the tears in my eyes yet again.

I cry myself to sleep.
