The Next day

Today was a beautiful friday morning about 8:00 to be exact, Rai was use to sleeping in whenever he had a big stream the previous night, however that wasn't the case this time, as soon as he ended his stream his supplier and designers for his hoodies called him and gave him the names of the 1st 50 people who bought his hoodies... he was in utter shock and disbelief by this... along with the fact that his entire stock was about to be sold out, specially the Hot Pink ones.

"'Thank you for your love and support, I hope I can make your day better even just by a tiny bit by making you smile with either my silly videos, Streams, or even my music, I love you my YU, here's to us staying together and growing together in the future, love AE.' Aaaaand thats number 50... man that was so tiring... and my hand hurts so bad, good thing I only said 50 and not 100." Rai said as he placed the handwritten letter on a black and neon pink envelope with his logo acting as the seal.

Rai then leaned back on his chair and gave a deep sigh, he took a peek at his clock and saw that the time was now 8:15 in the morning, remembering his promise to meet up with Sona he quickly stood up from his chair and took a quick shower and began rummaging through his clothes for something that hopefully wouldn't embarrass himself AND Sona.

After about 5 minutes he finally decided on what to wear, he wore a plain black T-shirt, Black denim pants, red sneakers, and a brown leather jacket since it was getting a bit chilly outside, he also wore a red beanie with the words 'boss' in the front.

"Ok... this will probably be good." Rai said as he grabbed his bag, house keys and wallet and began running down the stairs.

As he arrived on the ground floor, Peter -the owner of the building and father figure- was leaning on the door to their apartment, due to you being in a hurry you just ran past him but quickly said hi first.

"Hold up mister!" He said.

You then stopped at your track and looked at him.

"Where are you going... and in such a rush no less?" He asked.

"I'm meeting a friend." Rai responded.

"Uh huh... this friend wouldn't happen to be a girl by the name of... I dunno Sona Buwelle?" He asked with a smug smile.

"H-How'd you know?" Rai asked.

"May is very chatty you know, but enough about that, how are you gonna go to her?" Peter asked.

"I'm gonna take the bus." Rai said.

"The bus! Come on Rai, you need to have some class... here catch." Peter said as he threw something at Rai which he caught with one hand.

"... A key?" Rai asked.

"I won that yesterday during a company raffle, I don't like using motorcycles and I already have a perfectly capable car... so you can have this, its at the basement parking garage, its the white one with red rims, have fun... and before you refuse, just remember... this is nothing compared what you did for me back then... ok?" Peter said.

"I can't believe you still remember that." Rai said with a smile.

"How can I, you saved me, my wife and my kids... I still remember it like it just happened yesterday." Peter said with a smile.

"I don't have time for a flashback Pete, thanks for the bike, I promise I'll pay for it properly!" Rai said as he ran towards the elevator to get to the basement parking.

"Same kid as usual." Pete said with a smile.

Flashback

"THAT IS OUT OF THE QUESTION!" An angered Peter yelled at his colleagues.

"Peter listen to reason, this kid can be OUR ticket to militaristic power, think about it, soldiers capable of turning into blood thirsty monsters in a press of a button, look we already have volunteers." An older man asked as he showed a lengthy list of candidates willing to undergo an experiment.

"The volunteers aren't the issue here Norman, but THIS! YOU WANT TO USE A 17 YEAR OLD KID, WHO IS AFRAID OF WHAT HE CAN DO AND TURN HIM INTO A PROJECT, NO! OUT OF THE QUESTION, THIS PROJECT IS DENIED AND WILL BE SHUT DOWN!" Peter yelled.

"NO! THIS HAS BEEN OUR LIFES WORK, A SERUM CAPABLE OF MAKING EVOLVED HUMANS, I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO STOP OUR RESEARCH!" He yelled.

"... Then I guess Parker Industries will back out of this project and sever the ties between Oscorp." Peter said.

Half of the room gasp, while the others only nodded their heads in agreement.

"What are you saying? Without Parker Industries Bio-Technology department and advanced technology departments this project will be ruined!" He yelled as he slammed his palms on the desk.

"Then you should've thought of that before pitching in this project, expect the separation documents by tomorrow... have a good day fellas." Peter said as he was followed by his colleagues.

"No... I WILL NOT ALLOW THIS TO BE THE END!" Norman said in anger.

A few hours later

After a long daw at the office Peter finally decided to go home to the apartment building he and his wife was running, they decided to do this instead of buying a large home because they thought that being surrounded by different types of people would be good for their girls.

But before he can do so he saw a boy outside the main doors struggling to open it due to the 2 computer monitors he was carrying, Peter smiled and lent the boy a hand.

"You need help kid?" Peter asked.

"N-No I'm good." The kid said.

However Peter only smiled and took one of the monitors before they can fall.

"There is nothing wrong with asking for help you know." Peter said as he easily grabbed one of the monitors and opened the doors for him and the young boy.

"Thank you... and once again I am in your debt sir." The boy said with a smile.

"Hahaha and again you don't owe me anything Kurenai, we are happy to have you as a resident in our building... by the way whats with the monitors? These are some high performance hardware." Peter said looking at the monitor he was handling as they walked inside an elevator.

"I-I do some gaming and some streaming from time to time... helps me distract myself from... you know." Kurenai said as he looked down at his feet.

"Listen Kurenai, what happened a few days ago wasn't your fault ok, you were the victim and you just defended yourself, nothing more." Peter said as he gave the kid a stern but calming look.

A few days ago, while Rai was finalising his move to his new apartment, he was mugged by about 5 men holding knives, being a nonviolent person Rai just handed them his wallet and phone and just hoped they'd leave him alone... but that wasn't the case, they then proceeded to beat him up for no reason... however while they where kicking Rai on the ground something inside him snapped, his eyes turned black and he easily grabbed the foot that was about to kick him, he then began to stand up and with one quick motion he snapped the mans leg breaking it causing him to scream, what happened next caught the attention of passerby's and when they went to see what happened they only saw 5 large men beaten up and bloddied by a now passed out boy, the people called the police and an ambulance for the men, an investigation was soon made and after a few days Rai was told that he didn't do anything wrong and his actions were deemed as self defence.

"But still... I almost lost complete control again." Rai said with a sad tone.

"What you did was out of your hands... and I believe that your inner demon did was because he was worried about you, just think, you have been in danger a few times but your inner demon never intervened because he believes in you, but seeing you get beaten up when you clearly weren't a threat made him angry... so angry that he decided to protect you." Peter said with a warm smile.

"Thanks mr. Peter." Rai said.

"You don't have to add the mister you know, just Peter is fine." Peter said as they finally arrived infron of Rai's apartment.

"Ok... thanks Peter, also please just call me Rai." Rai said as he opened the door.

"Ok Rai." Peter said.

However once they opened the door they were greeted by a pair of children running around while holding the minecraft miniatures you made a few months ago.

"Claire! May! Put those down!" A beautiful brown haired woman yelled as she ran around the apartment trying to catch the girls.

"What the heck is going on?" Peter asked.

The two girls running around then suddenly halted to a stop once they heard the voice of their father.

"Why are you girls here in Rai's home?" Peter asked.

"Sorry honey they seemed to have followed me here, I'm sorry they opened your belongings without permission Rai, I just wanted to bring you this package from your aunt, but then the girls saw... well those and begam playing with them." The woman said.

"Hahahaha its no problem Mrs. Parker... so these are Mayday and Claire Parker huh... do you like those toys?" Rai said as he placed the monitor gently on the ground.

""Yeah!" Both May and Claire said with enthusiasm.

"I see, well then how about as a present for our first meeting... I hive you these toys." Rai said with a smile.

"Really!?" May said with a smile.

"You mean that!?" Claire said.

"Yes... I made these toyd to keep me company when I feel lonely... maybe they can be there for you two as well... I only ask that you take care of them... ok?" Rai told the girls as he gave them a pat on the head.

""We will, thank ypu big brother Kurenai!"" Both girls said as they gave Rai a cute smile.

"Your welcome... now I need to start unpacking soon." Rai said.

"Oh we can help." Mary Jane said, offering him a hand.

"I appreciate the offer but I got this, don't get me wrong I would really like some help... buuuut there are things here that I wanna keep private... don't worry its not anything bad or naughty." Rai said with a smile.

"Ok... well take care." Peter said as he and his family returned to their home.

9:20 PM
-7/11 convenient store-

"Never again will I prioritise gaming over groceries... good thing they still had my favourite Ramen... wait... isn't that... CLAIRE!" Rai said.

As he was walking home from his short trip to the nearest 7/11 he noticed a black van parked outside his building, he saw a man carrying an unconscious girl towards the van, Rai took a closer look and saw that the man was carrying Claire.

"HEY PUT HER DOWN, NOW!" Rai shouted as he tossed his Ramen to the side and sprinted towards the man.

The people in the van panicked and quickly sped away, Rai didn't know what to do, should he go after them or go check inside if the other residents were fine and well... but he couldn't just leave Claire alone with those people... so he decided to go after the car and HOPE to anyone that is listening from heaven that the others inside are ok.

He then focused and transformed his legs, the transformation only took 3 seconds but it felt like 3 hours for Rai, he rarely uses his powers considering the fact that it also hurts him... but for the family that accepted him and was nice to him knowing who and what he was he was willing to endure the pain.

As the transformation was completed he took a deep exhale and took a runners start, in a burst of speed he took of in the direction of the van.

In the Van

"Hello sir, we have Mr. Parkers Wife and children, they are all unconscious but they are ok, however specimen #04 has seen us, we don't know if he is following us." The man said.

In the van sat 4 people 2 women and 2 men, on the back were Mrs. Mary Jane Parker, Claire Parker and May Parker, all of them being unconscious and tied up.

'Ok maintain your course, once you get here I will call Peter and tell him to give us specimen 4 and help us or else his family is toast.' The man on the other side said as he finished the call.

However before they can move any further their car suddenly halted to a sudden stop, everyone inside became confused as to why they stopped moving.

"Hey whats wrong, why'd you stop?" The man asked the woman driving the car.

However she gave no response as she just shaking pointed infront of her.

The others followed her finger and saw what she was pointing at, about 30m from them stood Kurenai, his legs and arms were transformed as the outer rims of his eyes were turning black bit by bit.

"Reverse... REVERSE HURRY!" The woman who was on the passenger side of the driver yelled, afraid of what Rai will do to them if he catches them.

The woman scrambled to get the car in reverse but it was already too late for them, Rai jumped up in the air and slammed his fist on the hood of the van destroying the engine, battery and almost everything inside the hood.

Rai then purpose ripped out the destroyed engine and slammed it on the ground, making the kidnappers fear for their lives.

"See this engine... this is what's going to happen to your spine, heart, and other major organ if you don't get out of the car right now." Rai said, his voice having such a commanding tone made the prople inside fear for their lives and get out of the car, they then knelt to the ground and begged for Rai not to kill them.

"PLEASE DONT KILL US! WE WERE KNLY ORDERED TO DO THIS!" The man yelled in tears.

It was a good thing that they were in a remote place of the city and noone would be disturbed with all the noice and noone to film what was going on.

"YEAH! WE NEED TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE SOMEHOW, WE HAVE FAMILIES!" The woman said.

"Shut up." Rai said.

In an instant all the crying stopped and were replaced by soft sniffles.

"I don't care why you did this, I don't care about your circumstances, all I care about is keeping the people you kidnapped safe and away from harm... now I am only gonna ask you one time, if you lie to me then... you know whats going to happen." Rai said as he pointed at the engine.

The kidnappers gulped and nodded their heads.

"Good... now... who gave you the order to kidnap these people and why?" Rai said as he took out his phone and began recording their statements.

After a lengthy explanation, Rai learned that the people who ordered them to kidnap Peters family didn't really want them... they wanted to use them to get to Peter... then let Peter give Rai to them.

"So again... this is my fault." Rai said as he clenched his fist in anger.

"S-So... a-are we free to go?" The woman asked.

Rai only looked at them amd walked back to the front of the car, he then forcefully ripped the bumper off and used it to tie them together by bending it around them.

"You stay here till the police arrive." Rai said as he dialed 911 on his phone, after explaining what happened he then decided to call Peter, but was beaten to it since Peter decided to call him first.

"RAI! RAI! WHERE ARE YOU? MY FAMILY! MY FAMILY IS GONE! AND OUR HOME IS TRASHED!" Peter said in a panicked tone.

"Peter take a deep breath, don't worry I took care of the people who took them, your family is safe, they are just unconscious, I already called the police and they said they are on their way, if you wanna go check on them we are in the downtown area, just on the side of the main road." Rai said calming Peter down.

"Oh my goodness... thank you... thank you so much Rai... I can't imagine what i'd do if I lost them." Peter said in the verge of tears.

"Your welcome... also Peter do you know someone named... Norman Osborn?" Rai asked.

"Norman... what does he have to do with all this?... don't tell me-" Peter said.

"Yep, he was the one who ordered these guys to kidnap your family to get to you... they also said that they really wanted... me... I'm sorry... this is my fault... again" Rai said with a sad tone.

"No don't say that, none of this is your fault." Peter said consoling the boy.

"But if I didn't have these damn power then noone would be hurt!" Rai said as he looked at his transformed legs.

"Rai... listen to me... don't think about the bad things you did... remember all the good ones instead, like the one ypu fid this evening... YOU saved my family... without you who would have saved them?" Peter said.

"But-" Rai began.

"Will you just stop thinking that way, there are good people in the world and there are also bad people, its your actions that define where you belong to, now... where do you want to belong to Rai?" Peter asked.

"I... I wanna be a good person... a person who makes people smile." Rai said.

"Then thats where you belong then." Peter said.

"Thanks Peter... hey this Norman guy... do you know where he lives?" Rai asked.

"I do... why?" Peter suspiciously asked.

"Just wanna pay him a visit." Rai responded.

"Hahaha I see... give him a good scare... ok." Peter said with a smile.

In the veranda of a large mansion covered by trees and a large wall sat Normal with a smile on his face as he began drinking some wine.

"Couldn't sleep Mr. Osborn?" A voice called out.

Norman spat out his wine and stood up quickly as he began lookinga tound for a voice.

"Who is that, do you know you are in private property, I can have you arrested!" Norman said.

"Hahaha... you know I heard that line in so many movies and TV shows it's actually considered a clique by now." The voice said.

"Are you mocking me, I demand you to show yourself!" He said.

"No no no sir, YOU don't get to DEMAND anything... now you'll listen and listen to me... got it?" The voice said seemingly always behind Norman.

"Tch, this is ridiculous, do you know who I am, I am-" Norman began but was cut off.

"You are Norman Osborn, CEO of what was once the mighty Oscorp, but after loosing stocks to a newer, better, and far kinder tech group -that being Parker Indus- you decided to integrate yourself in that equation to not loose your company, but after a few years you got greedy and wanted to expand on military and war weaponry to get ahead on the market... and now you wanna branch into making super soldiers for the government... I correct to assume?" The voice said.

"How do you know all this!?" Norman sid in anger.

"Because you ordered your goons to capture someone who were like a family to me... and I can't let that pass." The voice said.

"W-Wait... don't tell me it's y-" Norman said.

However he was pinned to the floor by spiked pinning his clothes down as Kurenai appeared sitting on the ledge of the veranda giving norman a good stare.

Rai then hopped down the veranda and walked towards the pinned millionaire.

He then crouched down and tared at norman with a black look in his face and his eyes turning almost completely black.

"Now listen to me and listen to me well, because I am going to say this once... leave me and the Parkers alone... if I even see anyome of you near them... then I can promise you no bunker, weapon, super powered hero, villain, vigilante or mercenary will stopp me from tearing you limb from limb from limb from limb, and yeah that many limbs, now this is whats gonna happen." Rai said as he grabbed the older man and pinned him on the wall chocking him by his neck.

"Your gonna pay for all the damages you caused to the building and all the stuff you destroyed in their home, your also never gonna speak of this encounter... if any of this is broken then I will break you... emotionally and physically... and remember... I'm watching... I always have eyes... in the darkness." Rai said as he let the man go and jumped off of the building.

Norman quickly ran towards the veranda to look for the boy but noone was there.

"Boo." A voice from behind said as Norman screamed and almost fell of, but was luckily caught by Rai and pulled back to safety.

"Like I said... I am always watching you... so be careful when your outside or whenever your alone... because I might just be on the corner of your eye waiting." Rai said as jumped up into the roof, however Norman was still in distress due to the fact that he trifled with the wrong person.

"Honey are you ok? I heard yelling." An older woman said as she walked in the veranda.

"I was a-" Norman was about to say he was attacked by Rai, however the words Rai muttered kept playing behind the back of his head and he quickly shut up.

"I-It's Nothing dear... I just dropped my wine... thats all." Norman said with a fake smile.

"I see, well clean it up and lets hurry on to bed, I have to meet some friends tomorrow." The woman said as she walked back in her home.

Norman smiled and waved to his wife as he took a deep sigh, he then closed his eyes and took a breath, however as he opened his eyes he saw a figure on the main gate of his home, he looked back at up on the roof then back at the figure, upon closer inspection he finally noticed who it was... it was Rai, the darkness surrounding him along with the ray of the moon hitting only half his face made him appear like a demonic ninja, he then pointed and Norman and did a zipping motion on his mouth silencing the already terrified man.

He tookone last glance at the shaking man and jumped down to the road.

Norman then knelt to the ground as he cluched his head in fear of his life.

Meanwhile

"Did i use too much strychnine?... I mean he deserved it... but the horrified look on his face was just too much to bare... oh well not my problem now." Rai said as he was jumping up and down rooftops as to not get seen.

It turns out that Rai used a poison called strychnine to induce a small amount of fear into Norman making him easier to persuade... and Rai wanted to get back at him for kidnapping Mrs. MJ and the kids.

After jumping for about 15 minutes Rai arrived at the hospital to check on the 3 who were kidnapped, Luckily the police and Peter arrived on the scene in little under an hour, so the mother and daughters were quickly brought into the hospital while the police took the kidnappers away.

Rai arrived at room 208 of the hospital where Peter said the 3 were being kept for awhile, Rai sheepishly knocked on the door and was told to come in by MJ, he slid the door open and saw 3 beds, the 2 being occupied by 2 sleeping children and the third was being occupied by an awake MJ talking to Peter.

"Hey, there Kurenai." MJ said with a smile.

"..." Rai didn't mutter a word, he only looked to the floor with a sad look.

"Kurenai... I know what your thinking and let me tell you... all THIS isn't your fault." MJ said.

"How... how is this NOT my fault Mrs. P... if I wasn't here-" He began only to be cut off.

"It would make a difference... because the one who caused that altercation was me... listen those guys were after you, yes, but they didn't know you were in our building, they only asked where Peter was... I connected the dots and realised that they were there for you... so I fought back, I will NEVER let anyone hurt you anymore... I promised you didn't I?" MJ said as she gave the boy a smile.

Rai then began to cry as he walked over to MJ and Peter and gave them a hug.

"Thanks you guys." Rai said.

However he then felt his legs give out on him and fe fell to the floor on his back, only staring at the ceiling.

"Hey are you ok?" Peter asked.

"Yeah, I transformed too many times... my body isn't use to rapid transformations... my muscles feel like they're ready to snap at any moment, but I'm gonna be fine, just a few hours of rest is all I need." Rai said as he was sat on a chair with Peters help.

Flashback end

"Can't believe it's already been a year after that whole fiasco happened, Norman announced that Oscorp is separating from Parker Ind. and payed for all our repairs." Peter said.

"Yeah, I wonder what Rai did to him." MJ said as she suddenly appeared behind him.

"OH JESUS!" Peter yelled in surprise.

"Hahaha sorry, so where you reminiscing about that day a year ago?" MJ asked.

"Yeah... well I should go to work as well-" Peter began.

"PETEEEEEEEEERRRR!" A loud yelling was heard.

Suddenly Rai burst through the door.

"PETER I CANT USE THAT MOTORCYCLE, IT LOOKS TOO EXPENSIVE!" Rai yelled.

"Motorcycle?... Ohhhh you mean the one you won on a company raffle... hey why is the CEO part of the company raffle anyway?" MJ said.

"Yeah, and since I don't really use a motorcycle and our tenants have cars of their own I thought why not give it to our only tenant whose only means of transportation is a skateboard on steroids , also they insisted that I join the raffle, not my fault I won." Peter said with a smile.

"Hey my board is cool and can get me anywhere." Rai defended himself.

"Yeah, but when your in a rush you scramble towards the nearest bus stop, this is gonna be beneficial for you." Peter said.

"I dunno if I can pay for that." Rai said.

"Don't worry about it... but if you wanna make it up to me maybe there is one -no scratch that two things you can do for me." Peter said.

"And that would be?" Rai said, a bit skeptical about this whole exchange.

"Ok so 1st you watch both May and Claire for an entire month so that MJ and I cam have our alone time together." Peter said.

"Ok... and the other one?" Rai asked.

Peter only smiled and pulled his phone out and sent something to Rai via Email, Rai's phone dinged signalling that he received the email, he quickly opened it up and looked at the content, and what he saw made his eyes widen in shock.

"I CANT DO THIS!" Rai said in shock.

"Well if you wanna make it up to me then you'll do this, also I am not taking that bike back from you, so better start practicing." Peter said as he left for work.

"Why does he want me to enter a singing competition?" Rai said with a confused look in his face.

He then just shrugged it off for now since he knew Sona would be waiting for him, so with a deep sigh he went back down to the garage and saw an expensive looking motorcycle.

"A 2018 Ducati supersport S... I don't know how to feel about this." Rai said, but he knew that his board can only take him so far and to be honest he didn't wanna take Sona to other places by bus so he was actually greatful for Peter.

He then hopped on the motorcycle, put on a helmet and placed a spare on his bag for Sona if she wanted to go to another place.

"Here goes." Rai said as he revved the engine and went on to meet Sona.

Emerald king Ent.

In a large conference rook sat about 10 people, all of which were watching a small time Youtuber singing... and they were allblown away by his voice and his aniatic dancing.

"Who is this boy?" A woman asked.

"According to this his Youtuber persona is AE, but his real name is Kurenai Watanabe, he is from Japan." A man replied.

"Thanks for stating the obvious once again Karl, now listen I want every scout we have to look for THIS boy... I want him to be in our agency ASAP!" The woman said as everyone nodded and began pouring out the room.

Sorry for not updating the others stories, I dunno what happened but I lost the papers I wrote on and I am struggling to keep up with my ideas, hopefully I would have updated some of them soon.
