DIPPER'S POV

I was getting on a boat to sail off to sea. Ya see, I need the money so me and my twin sister Mable can move away from our mom and dad. I know i'm only 12 but its like hell where we live. I was the "new" cabin boy on the ship so i'll have to a lot of things to do to get the money I need but hey, ya win some ya lose some but I, lose a lot in this case. The "cap'n", as people call him, came up behind me as I got on the ship. He as a longish white beard, a hook, and a peg leg. Great, note the sarcasm in my voice, I really don't want to do this but I must. "Ye won't last to long here, cabin boy." the Captain said with a cold voice. Okay so I have made things up in my mind, things that could kill me and what not and what I got was, if the ship doesn't sink the caption will kill me. I step to the tip of the front of the boat, not wanting to see my twins sad face as the ship stared to move. i really hope things go well. The captain barked out orders left and right at his crew. I hope I don't die on this trip. I looked over at the sea while people were doing as the captain asked. I saw fishes swimming with the boat as it moved through the water. Once we got out in the open sea the fishes swam down under the water never to be seen again. I then saw my reflection in the water, every piece of clothing i had on the upper part of my body that being my red-ish organ shirt and my blue and white bandanna that has a blue pine tree on the front. As were sailed into rocky waters the Captain called out to us. "BE ON THE LONG FER SIRENS!" All of the men on board the ship went to all sides of the ship to watch. I went to the back next to the captain as we watched. "Stay here,boy. I'll be right back." The captain left and as I looked back into the water I saw a gold yellow tail sink into the water. That's when we hit a huge rock dead on and the boat was sinking fast. I had twisted my ankle going through the crowd earlier today so I can't swim well right now. I look all around to see all the smaller "safety" boats were gone. They left me to die. As the top of the boat filled with water soaking my shoes in the process. I back up to get higher on the boat but it was all filled with water. I had no choice but to jump and try. So that's what I did. I was still scared but happy as I was able to swim this much. Then out of no where a plank from the ship hit me in the head and I blacked out.
----bills pov----
"Look bill! Another ship!" Will said with some what happiness in his voice. Is he that happy for a ship to sink? I guess so. We swam around the ship. He swam left and I swam right around the ship. I saw a young human boy sinking to the bottom. He's knock out from the looks of it. I started to worry if I was right or not. I swam as fast as I could to him. I got him in my arm and swam up to the surface of the water. I put my ear up to his chest and herd a heart beat. Good so he's still alive. I took him to the shore and I put my webbed hand on his chest then used my magic to push the water out of his lungs. He woke up and started coughing up the water. Once he stopped he look at me. "Wh-who and wh-what are you!?" The boy screamed. "Okay, OW and the names Bill Chipper." I was getting a tad angry because it clear that I'm a siren and he screamed in my ears. "Okay but that doesn't answer my second question." He then looked at all of me. "O-oh on." He looked scared now. I chuckle at his face. He looks so scared. "Kid relax I'm not gonna hurt you if you tell me your name." He calms down a bit but not all the way. "M-My names Dipper pines." He says shaking a small hair. "Nice to meet ya Dipper! Oh and I like your bandana it looks cool on ya." I'm gonna be nice to this one but I don't know. I WANT to eat him put something won't let me. And I don't know what it is! Ugh!!! "Th-Thanks Bill." He smiles and I smile back at him. He cute for a human...wait WHAT?!?! I come out of my thoughts when he pokes me in the shoulder lightly. "Sorry bout that any way so what happened to your ship Kid? Did it hit a rock or something?" He nods and now I hope my brother doesn't come up and see him. My brother my be a wimp but he can tell ya out instead of beating ya up and that's scary as shit in my eyes. "Wh-what that? Around your neck Bill?" I look down at it then back at him. "My eye patch. I had it in earlier but I took it off because it's a little hard to swim and not hitting something under water." I joked about the whole hitting something under water part and he laughed. His laugh is so cute...BRAIN STOP THAT! Then Dipper sneezes. I giggle at him. "Dude, you sneeze like a kitten! I've never meet someone who could sound that cute while sneezing!" I giggle out to him. "I do not sneeze like a kitten Bill." He giggled back and we started laughing at one other. Once we calmed from our high I wiped a tear away. I was luaghs get so much I started crying. I've never laughed that hard before.
---Dipper POV---
Bill is so much fun to be around. But what I can't put my finger on is why I didn't get mad when he said 'I sneeze like a kitten.' I normally get mad when people say it but him, I just giggled at him. I also don't know why he saved me when he could of just eaten me. I'll ask him later. It was getting dark as me and Bill talked and laughed. "So Dip do you have a place to stay?" That's when it hit me. "Oh no! I don't and I don't know how to get back home." I pull my knees up to my chest and wrap my arms around them. Bill went under the water then came back up. He doesn't that so he can breath. Bill then...hugs me? Why? I don't care. I hug him back but I hug him tightly like I would lose him. Bill rubs my back to calm me down. He sat on the sand on the shore. His tail showing. He sat me on his lap and rocked back and forth. "Don't worry Dipper, you can... Stay with me if you'd like. I can use my magic to help you breath under the water if you'd like." Bill said calmly and softly.
