Dee and her mother, Camila, been looking for a nice apartment all day. Its been 8 hours and they are now hungry.

"Mom lets just take a break and go to Charles." Camila nodded in agreement and turned off the road heading towards Charles.

"Baby you grew up so beautiful and intelligent, I'm so proud of you baby girl.... do you have any ideas yet on what you want." Dee thought for a moment but still no idea yet, "No momma.... but I'm leaning more towards having my salon." Camila smiled at that thought.

"Baby I remember when you was a little girl, you would do your dolls hair so beautiful I didn't even know how you did some of them." Dee remember it too and laugh. They drove in peace as Stay With Me played lowly. Ten minutes later they was there.

Dee jumped out the truck and pulled her tight jeans up so more. Dee is dark skin, 5.6 and has a slim body. She gets her body from her mother, but the height and color is all her dad. Dennis is 5.9 and has a muscular frame. Kevin is falling more into his dad shoes everyday but he get his skin color from his mother. Dee is adored and wanted by a lot of people. She is known from her big afro she started wearing it when she was 14. Now its bigger than ever.

Her and Camila sashayed on in the restaurant. Charles was at a table talking at the moment so they just waited. Dot came out the back with a towel wiping down the counters. "Wassup yall," he said with his million dollar smile. Dot was more 5.7. He was brown skin with little muscles. He was more of the clown, but when things was getting heated he was ready. He had his long hair in braids.

Dee felt butterflies at the pit of her stomach but she kept her excitement at a minimum. "Hey Dot we been looking for an apartment for Dee all day, but nothing sparks her interest." Camila said with a low sigh.

"All these beautiful apartments out here and nothing." Dot question Dee. She love his soft but hard voice. Even though she like him she kept it on the low, her girl wasn't gonna kill her.

"Well it's just I want some that's homelike nothing fancy, must have a nice view, and a safe neighborhood." She said more to her self then Dot. Dot thought about it and realized it some available apartments near him and Charles area.

"Dee if you like me and Charles could show some apartments around our way." Dee wanted to scream yes, anything is good if she close by them. "Sure that will be great thank you." "No problem I'm always here," Charles said behind her with a breath taking smile she couldn't but help smile.

She turned around to see a smirk on Charles face. Charles was 6.1 and he was very muscular. He was light skinned and had low cut. He always wore shades to keep the lady's guessing. He wore his diamond earing in his left ear as it sparkle while the light hit it.

"And what could I possibly be talking about Mr. Ware." Charles laugh at her and walk around her to her mother. He kissed her cheek, "Evening Camila what can I do for you all today."

Camila felt her stomach craving ribs and bake beans." Charles can I have your ribs and bake beans." Charles wrote it down on a piece of paper, "How about you Dee."

Dee wasn't so sure." How about you surprise me but make sure its something that can make me full, because right about now I'm certain there is nothing in here." she said pointing to her stomach. Charles laugh and gave Dot the paper.

Dot went to the back to help the employees cook and Charles stayed making small talk with them. They discuss what they just told Dot and his offer. Charles was all for it and know a great spot for Dee.

"Dee its this great spot four blocks from me, it look spacious and comfy and everything is peaceful there's no harm done there." Dee thought about and even if she wanted to be by Charles she still wanted to see it for her own luck.

"Ok when can you show me," Charles thought about it and he decided to go Sunday since he won't be working." Sunday.... just stop by here and I'll take you the rest of the way."

Charles was hoping for a yes so they could be alone together." Mom that's cool with you." Camila look up from her phone and turn to Dee like she was crazy.

"Girl that's you if you want to, I just so happen to come today so I can help, I'm sure Charles know what he talking about." Dee was shock by her mother comment but didn't press her anymore." Well I guess that's a yes then.... what time."

Charles usually do his work out routine from 5 till 8 and rest until 11 so he can go out and about. "12:00, how does that sound." Dee smiled and nodded.

Another five minutes came by of them talking and their food was ready. Dot gave them their bags while Camila pull out a 20,and gave it to Charles. She got her five dollars back and they left.

Dee held the door for her mom. As her mom walk out Dee look back over her shoulder only to see Charles staring at her. She smiled and waved and let the door close as she walk towards the car.

"Wanna eat at the park you know them hungry wolves are at home waiting to be fed." Camila said jokingly Dee nodded in agreement. They both know what will happen if they bring food home not enough for everybody. They once brought home some catfish, spaghetti, and a roll before they could turn around someone was eating out their plates.

They sat at the park and talk about Dee next move and everything. Thirty minutes has passed and they was finish. it was 7:47 and was already getting dark. They made their way back to Camila black Toyota Tundra and climbed in.

"Mom do you love this car." Camila smiled," Of course yo big head daddy got it for me, I always wanted a big truck and this is what he gave me." Dee smiled. She adored her parents friendship and relationship. "Mom how much you love dad," "Baby I love him so much words cant express my feelings for him each and every day I yearned more from him." Camila said smiling.

Dee shook her head she stared out the window watching the moon creep up. Her thoughts was soon invaded with Charles. She liked Charles every since she 15. He was 25 at that point and was married.

He had a divorce when he caught his wife cheating. Every one was shock at Glinda crazy ass, who in their right mind will cheat on Charles. Of all men Charles should be the one you give your all too.

Though they stayed in touch because of their four year old son Jr. Many people say that's the only reason she had him so she can keep Charles to her self. After the divorce he got full custody of him.

Glinda didn't have no job because she thought Charles was gonna take care of her, but she regret it all. She still get to see her baby but that's only so she can try and win Charles back.

"Stop thinking about that man." Dee mind was cut by her mom words. She slowly turned to her mom and, "What man mom." Camila wanted to laugh she knew her daughter had it bad for Charles but she didn't say nothing and she also heard he like her too. "Charles, who else could it be," She said jumping down out the car.

Dee was just now realizing they're home. "Mom no he just a nice person and a friend to the family." Dee pleaded trailing her mom to the door.

"Girl I aint no fool and I'm your momma I know when something has you eyes and ears wide open." she said laughing opening the door to their four bedroom house." Mom please, that man has a lot of things to do and so does me." she said trying to convince her self more than her momma.

"Its ok I won't tell Dennis yet but soon he gonna see for his self." Camila said a little to loud." See what for my self." He eyed them standing in the doorway that leads to the back, as Kevin walk out the kitchen and to the back.

"Nothing sweetie I'm gonna go lay down your daughter wore me out." Camila said changing the subject hoping he wouldn't sense it. He did but he went along with her. "Is that right? Baby go easy on your momma you know she getting old."

Camilla punch in his side and smack him upside his head" Keep talking nigga, and watch how you be sleeping on the couch tonight." he laugh at her statement, her he knew she wasn't playing. They kiss each other goodbye,and then Camilla hug Dee before she went up to bed for the night.

Dennis walk pass Dee and sat on the chair and stared out side the window. "Dad you ok," Dennis shook his head yes,and she proceeded on to the back to her room. She walk in and put her phone on the charger whiled she took her make up off.

Dennis stared at her as she left the room. His baby girl is leaving and he cant stop it, but no matter how hard it is he must let her be. It seem just like yesterday when she was born. He remember her laughing and cries.

Kevin came back out and told Dennis her going to play card and going to be back by 12. Dennis nodded in a approval and turned the news on.

"Chuck Williams was finally arrested along with two other men who was apart of the robbery of The Young and Kings homes." Dennis shook his head at the tv he didn't like Chuck or his friends that wasn't nothing but trouble. He is so thankful that his daughter not interested into me like Chuck, and happy his son isn't following along with it.

Dee was upstairs to watching the news. She was now irritated "So that's why his ass can't answer the phone he been robbing and killing when he could be hug up with me, oh so having a cell mate more fun than being with me." she said now pissed. But she was the one who allowed them to do it.

She kept low not wanting anyone to come in. Dee and Chuck been together for a couple of months and each day she regret it. But he always do something to make her feel better. Dee shook her head as she went into the bathroom to take a nice bath.

When she got out she did her hygiene routine and put on her black shorts along with a pink tank top that says MAMA. Its been along day she fell asleep instantly. Drifting into her Charles dream she smile to her self not wanting to be bothered.

Charles walk into his house only to be scared by Glinda. "What the hell you doing here? Hold the fuck up how did you get in here?" She sat on the couch sipping on her third glass of red wine. She look at him with hurt in her eyes, "Why you want take me back." Charles snatch the drink out her hand not caring about splashing some on the floor.

He snatch her up and pushed her out the door, "Don't come over her unless its for Jr. and another thing, I move on I suggest you do to." Glinda snickered a little "That little girl you call your self in love with, she's no going to do nothing but drive you crazy."

She ended that with a serious tone. "There you go again listening to all that bull Mindy be telling, and what little girl." "Diamond Renae Long, daughter of Camila and Dennis Long, have a younger brother name Kevin. She loves going to your restaurant, she just graduated Thornberry High and is now looking for an-"." How the fuck you know all that about her you on that lurking shit." Charles was heated now

"Baby I'm just protect-"," One I'm not your baby two I don't need protection but if you keep this up you will." Charles couldn't believe she was stalking Dee.

He admit that he loves her but he know that will never happen." Just please leave me alone and while you stalking this girl where's our son." Glinda stop and ran to her car. "Got to run see you later baby."

"Girl my son better not be in danger because of your nonsense!!" Charles went back into his house and check for everything. He then went up to his room to think about why things had to be the way they are. Glinda hurted him in ways he couldn't imagine.

Do you know how bad it is to walk in on the love of your life in bed with your father. He never felt that disgusted before. He wish he would decline his father offer about her, but he said yes so he can get back on good terms with his old man.

He knew his daddy can get any lady he want, but never did he think it would be with his wife. His eyes begin to water as he thought about his mom crying in his arms.

"Why he want her when he has me, I been there through everything kids and all." she cried holding on to his arm. "Momma things are going to get better but first we must leave him alone he has done nothing but hurt us especially you."

Charles mother knew her husband been cheating but she thought he would stop. She knew enough was enough when he messed up not only theirs but his own son relationship.

Charles stared at his family picture. He was the baby of four. He was ten in this picture and everyone look so calm. Him and his dad look just alike even with his big brother Dustin. Charles went back down to watch tv to clear his mind.

He then thought about Dee and hoped Glinda crazy self want bother her. He couldn't wait to spend time with her in fact when they go look at the house afterwards he's taking her on a small date. He will cook the food and it will be somewhere quiet and romantic.
