27. Lime and Demons

Akaashi paused, turning around with a towel to give Ushijima. "Why is it quiet?"

"I think he passed out?" Ushijima leaned over and touched Tendou's face. "Satori?"

Tendou's eyes opened a bit.

"You had me worried. Is everything okay?"

Tendou nodded. He felt of his stomach and chuckled softly. "Chubby."

Ushijima smiled. He kissed Tendou's forehead. "I'll bathe you when you feel a bit better, okay?"

"Mhmm... where's the baby?"

"I'm about to go wash them," Akaashi stated. "Do you want to know the gender?"

"Not yet." Tendou tapped his knee. "My legs won't close."

Ushijima eased them closed and held him, just wanting to keep him close. Akaashi left the room and let the two hold each other. He went a few rooms over where Bokuto was watching a maid check on the baby. "Kotarou? I thought you were playing with Suga's boy?"

"I was but then I saw this."

Akaashi chuckled. He lifted the baby gently and placed them in the large bowl he'd had prepared. Carefully, he cleaned off the little one. Bokuto watched this too, in awe.

"She's so... tiny?"

"She is. From the looks of it she inherited Satori's hair and Wakatoshi's eyes. Or at least a shade of them."

"Oh she'll be so pretty!"

Akaashi laid out a small blanket. He put the little girl on it before swaddling her and rocking her to calm her. "Good girl... easy..." Akaashi looked up, smiling. "Isn't she precious?"

"She is..." Bokuto smiled at the sight of the little one. His heart fluttered. "How do we get one?"

Akaashi's eyes widened. "You want a baby?!"

Bokuto blushed. "I mean... uh..."

Akaashi smiled. "Wedding first love. Then we can have all the children you want. I just need to find a healthy surrogate and we'll have little ones running around. Other than my sisters of course."

Bokuto smiled. "We should take her to Satori."

Akaashi walked out, holding the little girl close. When he got in the room Ushijima was helping Tendou sit up, both chuckling softly. "You're such a dork Wakatoshi."

Akaashi cleared his throat. "Satori? Wakatoshi?"

Tendou gasped. "My baby! Oh my baby!" He held out his arms. "So what are they?"

Akaashi handed Tendou his daughter. "Well..."

Tendou looked down at the little one in his arms and smiled. "A little girl?"

"Mhmm!"

Ushijima hugged Tendou close. "A little girl... amazing..."

"Oh! Are we still going with the name we were thinking about?"

"I'm not sure. She reminds me of a different name."

Bokuto wrapped his arms around Akaashi's waist. Akaashi smiled. "What name was intended for her?"

"Yasha. It means night devil. All of the royals have dark names that intertwine with our dark magic." Tendou twisted his hand and Bokuto startled as red and purple lights twirled around his fingers.

"Oh my God!"

Tendou and Ushijima stared, confused. "Keiji, did you not warn him?"

"Warm me of what?! What the Hell?!" Bokuto let go of Akaashi.

Akaashi turned around, worried. "Kotarou. Calm down."

Tendou giggled. "Watch this." He snapped and red headed towards Bokuto. Bokuto fainted and Tendou's eyes widened. "Oh shit."

Akaashi leaned down and patted Bokuto's cheek. "I hadn't told him yet."

Ushijima just sighed. "Do you want me to wake him up?"

"Please?"

Ushijima kissed Tendou's forehead and leaned by Bokuto. He touched his forehead. Bokuto woke up a bit and stared at Ushijima. "Huh?"

"Sorry if Satori scared you. He does that a lot."

Bokuto sat up and Akaashi made sure he wasn't hurt. "You okay?"

"Mhmm. What happened?"

"Satori used his magic."

Bokuto stared. "His whole kingdom, specifically the royals, have magic blood. They specialize in dark magic."

Bokuto nodded. "Demons?"

Akaashi glanced back to Tendou, who's eyes glinted gold for a moment. He sighed. "Go ahead. Most of us know anyways."

Akaashi turned to Bokuto. "Satori is partly a demon."

Bokuto nodded. "Sorry that's a lot to take in."

Akaashi chuckled. "That's part of the reason why I suggested leaving. While he was giving birth... the desk broke?"

"Sorry!"

"It's okay!" Akaashi stood. "So what will you name her?"

"Yasha, Kaida, or Akumu."

"Night devil, little dragon, or nightmare?"

Tendou smiled. "I feel like Kaida fits her the most, seeing that she has my hair." He glanced down. The little one's eyes turned gold. He gasped. "Wakatoshi! Our eyes!"

Ushijima hurried over and smiled. "She got them!"

Akaashi led Bokuto out of the room. "Sorry for not telling you."

"It's okay... I think." Bokuto smiled nervously. "It's kinda... odd?"

"His line of heritage has always been this way. The last set of royalty was a princess from human lineage and the king-" Akaashi's eyes softened. "Pure demon."

Bokuto gulped. "And Ushijima? Is he the royal? Or is Satori?"

"Satori is. Ushijima has very small demon blood in him. His great, great, great, grandmother was half demon. He was the child of Satori's father's army general. Hence his ease with pinning Satoru to the ground and his voice. He is the new general and Satoru is king."

The door opened and Ushijima gave Akaashi a look of worry. "I heard Satoru?"

"Nothing to worry about. I'm actually going to go down there and may need your assistance."

"Let me go make sure Satori is okay. I'll be down in a minute." Ushijima went in his room and kissed his forehead. "I'll see you and Kaida soon."

Tendou kissed him. "I love you cutie. Don't go all commander too fast, I hate seeing you all puffy."

Ushijima kissed cheek. "I love you too."

Ushijima went into the hall and was led to the basement. Akaashi knocked on the bars. "Wake up!"

Ushijima picked up the candle by the door and let the line shine into the cell. He backed up as he saw what was in the interior. "Keiji go upstairs."

"What? No."

"Believe me you don't want to see this! Go upstairs now!"

Akaashi stared at Ushijima. He took a deep breath and turned. His nose burned, making his eyes water. "Did he shit himself?"

Ushijima grabbed Akaashi, forcing him away from the cell. "Ask a servant for lime. The powder. And several sheets."

"O-okay! Damn!" Akaashi hurried up the steps. Bokuto looked over.

"Keiji?!"

"He said to ask for lime powder and sheets?!"

Bokuto gulped. "Powder?"

"Yes?!"

"That covers the smell of dead bodies."

Akaashi's heart sunk. "Oh no."
