"Father, is it really necessary? I have no interest in some Omega to 'mate' with." The Alpha prince walked around the room, pacing from side to side, not once making eye contact with his father sitting at a large desk.
"Your mother wanted you to have children, and be married, it's been five years since she pasted, it's time you are wed, and I found someone." Chan stopped in his tracks and looked his father dead in the eyes.
"No." Chan said stern and quickly, yet his father wasn't phased at all. "There Kingdom seeks support, and you, a bride. It is a union of necessity,"He stood up from his setting position and walked over to his son, placing his hands on his shoulders, holding firmly.
"So there Kingdom is falling apart so we are making an alliance with them? What can there Kingdom even offer us?" His father suddenly chuckled, patting his back and starting to walk off. "Not all alliances hinge on material gains, my son. Besides, your aspirations for kingship are clear, are they not?"
Chan turned to face his father who was nearing the door. "Yes, the crown is my desire, a fact I voice daily." He rolled his eyes. "Then to be claim the throne, you must marry first, as your mother decreed; you shall not rule un-till you are wed. Now get some rest it's late." He finally walked away leaving his son to his own thoughts.
"Great..." Chan spoke aloud to himself, lending on the side of his fireplace staring into the bright flames which lit his room.
Suddenly his quiet moment was interrupted by the sound of his door opening abruptly, when he looks up from the fireplace he see his brother Changbin walk in and flop down on his bed, a big sigh exiting his mouth in a dramatic way.
"What is the meaning of this Changbin?" Chan questions in annoyance, seeing him laying still. "I don't have anything to do, no damsels to save, no adventure to go on, no new things to see, nothing." Changbin speaks as if he is the damsel in distressed at the moment. Chan walked away from the front of the fireplace and took a seat close over to Changbin.
"Look its alright take a break for a day or two, then try looking again." Chan didn't want to do this right now, knowing his brother was only going to throw a fit about this like a toddler, but right before Changbin could say anything else the door opened again.
Behind the opening door this time reviled there youngest brother Han.
Chan not even wanting to know why his room was now becoming a party room, he didn't bothering asking, he knew Han would say why he came at some point soon. Chan sighed as he watched yet another body flop down onto his bed, he swears he heard a spring pop with how hard he bounced.
"Changbin you'll never believe what I found?!" At the news of what Han said Changbin lifted up quickly, a smile plastered across his face. "What it is??" He questioned quickly, nearly repeating the three words about five times.
"There's a near by Kingdom that was attack, remember Chan telling us about that after he talked with father this afternoon?" Han looked at Changbin who obviously didn't remember the conversation but nonetheless let his brother continue to speak.
Han shook his hand to regain the attention of his brother. "Well anyways, the ruler of that Kingdom was an Omega ruler. Rumors are spreading saying he was taken by several Alphas, and is now in capture, you could save him~!" Han was obviously excited to help his brother find a new conquest.
But Chan did not seem as excited as the to younger's were.
"No way." Chan voice was stern, he stood up standing straight in front of his bed, his shadow casting over them. The dark stern voice wasn't something Han and Changbin heard all that often, but when they did they got quiet and fast.
"Going to a Kingdom that was just under attack, and then trying to save someone who is already claimed by Alphas. Are you insane? Just no."
Han wasn't going to say anything that could make his brother upset, so he stay out of this conversation now. Changbin on the other hand wasn't going to let this chance slip away. "But, Chan, I haven't even said anything yet."
Chan rolled his eyes and sighed, he already had enough on his plate, now he had to argue with his stubborn brother. "I said no, you don't need to go running off into dangerous territory. This so called captured Omega, is in the hands of the northern Kingdom, and if they now have claim over Lux Solis, if you can even call the small part of land a Kingdom, then it's now there land, and they will kill you if you step foot in it. Trust me, I'm doing this for your own good, you are now forbade from leaving this castle until I say otherwise."
With that Chan walked towards his door and opened it, without giving Changbin a second to fight back they were forced to leave the room, Han stopped in the doorway and looked back at his oldest brother, he stood in a large window looking down upon there Kingdom, one hand resting the sill of the window and the other making it's way through his hair as he sighed, lending his forehead against the glass with a small thud sound.
Han slowly walked down the halls stopping at a picture of his mother on the wall, he felt bad for Changbin getting in trouble, and felt bad for causing Chan to be stressed, he wished nothing more then to be someone who was better and didn't make things harder for others.
Chan soon laid in bed, his mind racing, yet completely blank at the same time, he closed his eyes and tried to let himself fall asleep, it had been a long night for him, he just wanted morning to arrive soon.
