Senator Ken's POV

I think I would be a good choice for president. You see, my friends, this black lady is trying to run for office. Can you imagine? I'm running against a black lady? Mississippi, where I come from, is a huge black populated state. Everyone is against me. How is that even possible? At least the white folks have my back. Mississippi has a lot of history. Schools were segregated, blacks had to sit in the back of a bus, and there were only whites only restaurants. Sure, my home state has been through some difficult times, but its a good place for tourism.

"Senator Keen, you have the floor!"

I walked up to the mic and spoke. "Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. With this year being an important election cycle, it is critical that America elects a good leader. It is my highest hope, that I will shall the win the republican nomination for president. I don't believe that Senator Hernandez of Arizona has a chance. President Bridges spoke to me recently, and he is gonna endorse me for the nomination. Folks, lets not let Senator Richards win in November! I am the better choice for America! Let me lay out my agenda. If I am elected president, I will raise taxes for the middle class, and lower them for the wealthy. I will raise the price of health care. Even those with preexisting conditions, should have to pay a bit more for medication. I will keep pursing President Bridges policies. And, get this! Senator Richards thinks that global warming is real! Its not! Its all an elaborate hoax! You get what I'm saying, right?"

"Senator, do you believe that the Climate Change Contract should be repealed?" asked Congressman Robert Shum, drinking his water.

"Look, its all common sense, right? I don't know why President Bridges didn't repeal it, but that's gonna change, if I am elected." I made some very fair points. If I was gonna make America better for everyone, I am gonna do it the right way. I always get criticized as a politician, but I will do what's best for this country. And, the rest of the world will see me through. I am gonna schedule a trip to China to see President Wu Xi Chen in the coming months.

America has a choice this November. Vote for me, or that colored woman.
