The delicate snow crunched underneath my heavy boot as I trudged out of the hotel - and looked for the next place to land. I want to blame Hank for this.

I really do.
But I know it's not his fault. None of this is. It would be extremely unfair of me to put this on him. I know what his past with Connor was like. It's been a lot on him. My past be my future if I don't take action. We have different lives, that are taking us very different paths.
Wherever he ends up
*HONK* "Watch it, ya fucking moron!"
I hope he's happy.
I stopped at the local bus stop, pulled out a wool cap out of it, and pulled it over LED. I would much rather be called a moron than anything else that could destroy me at this point. The cap hopefully will deter anyone thinking I'm an android.
Long and relaxed steps crunched beside me as I swiped off the snow that was lying on the bench, making a spot for myself.
"You make a pretty believable human." I felt the lenses in my eyes churn as they adjusted to the white light being blocked by someone I didn't think would come with me.
"You really think so?" I chuckled, moving my beanie up, showing him the bright - discolored LED.
"I do!" Connor sat beside me directly on the snow. I cringed imaging the seat of his pants getting wet.
"Connor, why are you here?" I rested my elbows on my thighs, and looked at the pattern of crunched snow between my shoes.
"Well, you see - I walked out of the hotel - followed the only footprint-"
"Connor." I tried to conceal a smile. He switched his position as he let out a small chuckle.
"Because, although you definitely can - I don't want you to do this alone." His voice was sincere. My heart pounded liquor through my veins - bubbling them with blind hope, and reckless abandon.
"You, left Hank to come with me?" I asked, trying to stay sincere in case Connor decides to turn around.
"No, I did not leave Hank. And Hank did not leave us. He is simply going to make Sumo's last moments as comfortable as they can be - and then he'll come find us. Sumo has been in Hank's life longer than you or I have. He is just, working up the courage to say goodbye to his best friend. Neither you or I wanted to take that from him. I hope." He looked to me out of the sides of his eyes. I let out a low sigh.
"No, I definitely don't. I blew up, and I had no place to do so. I just - want this to work so fucking badly, I can't even describe how the thought of being free tingles my heart." I said, shaking my head slowly. He nodded along.
"And Hank understands that. Once we've settled somewhere safe, and closer - we can call Hank if you like to clear the air." He offered, as the groan of the approaching bus hummed across the gently falling snow. I sat, staring at the ground for a moment before a small smile crept up my cheeks.
"I would like that."
POV: 313 - 248 - 317 -#51 "Connor"

"The search for two rouge DPD issued androids has excited the civilians of Detroit, and it's surrounding cities, and even states! More than five million androids have been surrendered since the morning airing of WTG- NewYorkNews. There has been no sighting of the two androids, and and the ex-police lieutenant that started this mayhem. There as been speculation that the machines may have traveled outside of the United States. While operations are still underway, and investigations flourish by the minuet - security has been thrown into over drive - as Thirium, and common component detecting barriers will be set up in local areas, following orders to turn in all androids for replacements.
In talks leading up to our interview with Elijah Kamski, the mention of a "super machine" has spurred a commotion, and many questions - the main being, how do we expect to fight a machine, with another machine? More information, and a larger scale plan will be revealed this Thursday. Stay turned for updates three times a day. I'm Tony Gunk, for WTD - NewYorkNews."
I leaned back in my seat, flipping my hand over - discarding the news cast. I sighed, the back of my neck growing hot as this mission is getting harder by the second.
"So, that just means we'll have to get to Kamski quicker, and quieter! That's not impossible!" Sean's confidence oozed out of him, as he lowered his head so no one could hear us. I looked down to what I was wearing. I didn't think to blend in.
"In every event - there is always a likelihood for success." I tiled my head to the side, trying to avoid my LED's reflection in the window. There weren't too many people on this bus - but its zero people too many that can turn us in. We have one shot at this. I couldn't see Sean's LED blinking yellow, but I heard his pings in my skull.
"We're going to have to get you changed." The bus came to a gradual stop along the side of the road.
"My appearance slipped my mind before leaving the hotel."
A large woman stood over Sean, resting an assertive hand on his shoulder. He flinched, and looked up to her.
"Excuse me sir, Androids are not allowed on his bus." She hissed, burning a hole into my cheeks. Sean's cheeks flushed.
"I'm bringing it to the states to turn it in." Sean could barely spit those words out himself.
She eyed him closer, as he turned back to me - trying to avoid eye contact with the lady.
"You get off as soon as we get to the border." She said quietly, burning with suspicion, then returned to the front of the bus - and started it up slowly.
Sean released a pent up breath, and slouched. "I'm sorry I had to say that."
"I'm glad you did. You saved my ass." And not for the first time. We can't get to the border soon enough.
