The sound of my front door being opened is soon followed by a familiar voice. "I've got ice cream, bitches!" Larray shouts into the house. "Where is everyone?"

The dogs immediately start barking and take off from where they were sprawled across the end of my bed, darting out of my room and down the hall. I roll my eyes in amusement before yelling back. "I'm in my room and Mason and Vi are upstairs!"

"Children!" Larray bellows. "I have ice cream!"

Footsteps immediately sound on the stairs from the second floor and Mason and Vi's voices clash over each other as they talk a million miles an hour to determine what kind of ice cream Larray brought. It's not an uncommon occurrence for Larray to invite himself over, and the twins in particular enjoy his visits because he often brings something fun with him. Usually, it's food, but last week, he brought a cat. Chandler and Joey were not impressed.

Once the twins have settled with their ice cream, Larray saunters into my room and throws himself on the bed beside me. "Hey, hoe," he mumbles, burying himself into my blankets. "What're you doing?"

"Editing a video." I focus my attention back on my laptop, ignoring Larray when he peeks at my screen.

"What kind of video? Did you accidentally start any fires?" Larray sniggers when I shove his head away from me.

"I don't always cause accidents." I type two more notes into my laptop before closing it and settling my gaze on my friend. "It's the vlog from last weekend when we went to Syd's show."

"That was a fun night," Larray sighs happily, his eyes blinking shut.

I reach out to poke him, grinning when he swats my hand away. "How come you didn't tell me how hot Matt is?"

Larray's eyes immediately fly open and he sits up like a rocket. "Sturniolo? You've seen him online, didn't you know he's hot?"

"Obviously." I roll my eyes, adjusting to sit cross-legged. "But he's way hotter in person."

"You met him?" Larray gasps, inching closer to me. "Spill."

"I took Chandler and Joey to the dog park this morning, and he was there. It started thunderstorming, so he drove me home." I shrug, pulling at a loose thread on my blanket. "It wasn't long. He seems nice."

Larray's eyes narrow at me. "What did you do?"

"What?" I question innocently, avoiding his gaze.

"You're a shit liar," Larray laughs, swatting the blanket away from my hands. "What did you do?"

I sigh dramatically, fixing my gaze on my hands. "He said 'see you soon,' and I said 'aye aye captain.'"

Larray instantly bursts into laughter, dropping his hand on my knee as he cackles. "Aw, babe, that's so bad."

"I know!" I groan, collapsing back into my pillows. "And he's so fucking hot!"

Larray snorts in amusement, patting my knee. "You poor thing. Who knows, maybe he was intrigued."

"By pirate humour, muddy dogs in his car, and the crusty wound on my forehead?" I give Larray my best deadpan expression. "I don't think so."

"Don't sell yourself short, you're hot as fuck, too." Larray winks at me. "However, since I am such a good friend, I would be willing to help distract you from your utter embarrassment."

No stranger to his methods of persuasion, an amused laugh escapes my lips. "What do you want?"

"I apparently promised everyone that I would post a video tomorrow, but I forgot." Larray juts his lower lip out, practicing his best puppy dog expression on me. "Please film something with me?"

"You're the worst." I roll my eyes, but the growing smile on my face betrays my true emotions. "Obviously I'll film something with you."

Whereas Sydney has been my best friend since we were kids, I only met Larray after I blew up on YouTube. Despite my habit of keeping people at arm's distance, Larray was quick to butt into my life and refuse to leave. Thank God he did, because now he is one of my closest friends.

"I knew I loved you for a reason!" Larray beams at me. "I'm thinking a good old fashioned Omegle video will do the trick."

"That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen," I grin, raising my hand to high-five Larray. "Let's do it."

All the coffee in the world wouldn't be enough to revive me today.

"Uh oh, she's got the sunglasses on," Sydney jokes as she approaches the outdoor table of the cafe that Larray and I are sitting at.

It is a beautiful fall day; the sun is shining, the sky is blue, and the birds are chirping. But I have my biggest pair of sunglasses planted on my face, a large coffee in my hand, and a cinnamon bun sitting in front of me, which everyone knows is my comfort food.

After filming the video for Larray's channel last night, we had stayed up far too late making stupid tiktoks and watching random youtube videos. I had woken up this morning on my bedroom floor, Chandler curled up into my back, while Larray slept soundly on my bed, Joey asleep next to him.

After my siblings left for school, I had passed out on the couch, exhausted from so few hours of sleep. Unfortunately, Larray didn't let me sleep for long, waking me up to remind me of our lunch date with Syndey.

"I saw so many dicks last night," I grumble, sipping on my hot coffee as Sydney sits down beside me. "I hate Omegle."

Larray snorts, planting his elbows on the table to give me his best deadpan expression. "Bitch, you love Omegle. Don't even lie."

"I watched the video before I came, and it's your fault for seeing so many dicks," Sydney chirps, not backing down when I glare at her. "You are the biggest unintentional flirt ever, plus you are notorious for being unlucky. You had it coming."

I sigh, tugging off my sunglasses dramatically. "Fine. You caught me. I love Omegle. But I do not appreciate the dicks of Omegle."

"Period," Larray hums, picking up his own coffee. "Is your pissy mood over now?"

"I suppose," I sigh again, but my face quickly transforms into a brilliant smile. "Syd, tell Larray your news!"

My blonde best friend squeals, remembering her exciting news that she told me yesterday on the phone. "I'm going on tour!"

Larray's jaw drops. "Shut the fuck up!"

While Larray and I thrive in the influencer lifestyle, Sydney has taken off as a singer in the last few years. She has put out an EP and an album, and has been dreaming about going on tour since she first gained popularity.

"Yes!" Sydney beams. "Not until next year, but I'm so excited!"

"Congratulations, Syd!" Larray reaches around the table to give Sydney a hug. "You deserve it."

I rise from my seat, fixing my gaze on Sydney. "Do you want your usual? My treat."

"Please." Sydney smiles graciously while adjusting her cute knitted sweater. "Thanks, Logan."

Although Sydney and I have always balanced each other out well, Larray was the addition to our friend group we never knew we needed. I have always been the optimist, the one who never stops laughing and is always ready for an adventure.

Sydney has always been more level-headed than me and often provides me with a voice of reason. While I can be overly blunt and honest, never one to hide how I'm feeling, Sydney has the nature of a princess: she is kind to everyone, a ball of sunshine, and the best friend anyone could ask for. However, she has a terrible weak spot for hot guys, and that is the only area where I act more rationally than her.

Larray provides the perfect middle ground for our friendship. He is our dramatic, fun-loving queen, and is the leader of our delulu tendencies. Of no one's decision but his own, he is my husband and Sydney's main hoe, finding joy in hanging out with me and my siblings and actively working to be Sydney's biggest fan. I adore him.

Leaving Larray and Sydney chatting about Syd's upcoming tour, I head inside the cafe. The lineup is longer than it was when Larray and I arrived fifteen minutes ago, but I am unworried, my eyes wandering the familiar, rustic-styled cafe as I find my place in line.

In front of me, a young man dressed in a purple hoodie and cream coloured shorts is scrolling on his phone. He is acting perfectly normal, but the exposed dark roots in his blonde hair and the Uggs on his feet catch my attention. I can only think of one person who wears shorts and Uggs like that.

"Nick?" I question cautiously, only fifty percent sure that the guy in front of me is the eldest member of the Sturniolo triplets. I've only ever seen him online, and never from the back, so I could easily be wrong.

But when the young man turns around with a curious expression on his face, my caution flies to the wind.

"Logan?" Nick questions, pocketing his phone as a smile grows on his face. "No way are we meeting here of all places."

"It's so nice to finally meet you!" I beam at Nick, thrilled to meet him after watching him and his brothers on youtube for so long. We all started our careers around the same time, and it's hard to miss a group of triplets who quickly rise to fame.

"Funny that we were just talking last night and now we're randomly bumping into each other," Nick chuckles, gesturing for me to come stand beside him as the line moves up.

"It's a sign to get our collab plans going," I grin at Nick. "What are you doing here?"

Before he has a chance to answer, I become aware of a prickling feeling in the back of my neck, a sure sign that someone is watching me. But the heat that trickles through me assures me that I am in no danger, and I know who is watching me without having to turn around.

"Chris, Matt, and I are just picking up breakfast." Nick points behind me, confirming what I already knew to be true. "We have a meeting to get to pretty quick."

I resist the urge to sigh, unsure how I feel about seeing Matt again. When I follow Nick's gaze, I spot Chris and Matt sitting at a booth. The former is distracted on his phone, but the latter is looking straight at me, and has the audacity to wink. Fuck.

I offer Matt a quick smile before turning back to face Nick. "I'm here with Larray and Sydney." I gesture out the large glass doors to where my friends are sitting. "You should say hi before you go."

"Of course," Nick smiles at me, a big cheesy grin that is impossible not to reciprocate.

After Nick and I place our orders, I follow him to where Chris and Matt are sitting. Matt seems to have alerted Chris of my presence, and both boys are curiously gazing at me as I approach.

"You guys know Logan," Nick introduces us, running a hand through his hair as he shifts his weight between his feet.

Matt's eyes never leave my face, but I focus my attention on Chris, who rises from his seat with a big grin to greet me.

"Logan!" he cheers, giving me a quick hug. "I'm a big fan. Your dedication to an unexpected plot twist is remarkable."

I laugh, hugging Chris back. "Thanks. I'm a fan of you guys too."

"Larray and Sydney are outside, let's say hi before we go," Nick interjects, pointing outside to where my friends are sitting.

"Sydney?" Chris' nose crinkles as he ponders the name. "She's the singer, right?"

"Yup." My attention is drawn to the counter when they call mine and Nick's names.

"I'll grab your stuff," Nick sends me a quick smile before gesturing for Chris to come help him.

My eyes follow the two brothers, silently cursing them for leaving me alone with the remaining triplet. When I turn back to face Matt, his gaze is still locked on me, a cocky smile displayed across his mouth.

"You're looking drier today," Matt comments, his eyes twinkling.

I hum in response, not sure how to respond to that. "Come on. Let's go outside." I don't wait for Matt to answer before I head towards the exit, but I feel him follow close behind me.

Larray gasps dramatically at the sight of Matt, and gasps a second time when Nick and Chris follow us outside. "It's my favourite triplets!"

"It's my favourite gay!" Nick chirps, earning laughs from the rest of us as he puts Sydney's food down on the table before hugging Larray. "We've actually got to head out, but we wanted to say hi."

The light conversation continues, but Matt's presence at my side distracts me from the words being exchanged. He's not even saying anything, so why am I so fucking intrigued by him? The way he is standing there looking so effortlessly good is ridiculous. He's wearing simple jeans and a black hoodie, and his hair is ruffled from the breeze; he's a perfectly normal looking guy, yet I am overly aware of him for no particular reason. I fucking met him yesterday and I made a pirate joke, for crying out loud.

"Logan." Sydney's voice cuts into my conscience, and I jerk to attention to find everyone staring at me.

"What?" I question, ignoring the smirk on Matt's face that suggests he knows exactly what just happened.

Larray sighs as he throws his arm over my shoulders. "Forgive my wife, she saw far too many dicks last night and hasn't recovered yet."

"What?" Nick and Chris exclaim, Matt simply raising his eyebrows in intrigue.

"Fuck off!" I groan, shoving Larray's arm off of me. "It's your fault, asshole. I seriously hate you and your stupid career."

"Omegle," Larray explains, the boys laughing in understanding.

"We should get going, but it was nice seeing you guys," Nick grins at each of us before his gaze settles on me. "We are figuring out a collab for real."

"One thousand percent," I grin at him.

Goodbyes are exchanged, and I don't miss the brush of Matt's hand against my own as he steps away from me. A light fluttering of butterflies rises in my stomach, but I brush the touch off as an accident, fixing my attention on Chris to say goodbye. But when my gaze returns to Matt, he is already looking at me with that stupid smirk painted across his face, and for the second time since I've met him, he winks at me. He immediately turns to follow his brothers as they depart, and I grit my teeth in annoyance. What is he playing at?

I abruptly spin back to the table, but unluckily for me, I move right as a server is walking by with a tray full of drinks. I crash straight into her and the various coloured drinks spill down my front, the glasses shattering at my feet.

A mixture of gasps and laughter reaches my ears, and I know without a doubt that the triplets are witnessing one of my 'happy accidents' for the first time in person.

Of fucking course.

I am very curious to know how you would
explain your clusterfuck today as a happy accident

logancastillo
oh you mean when i smacked right into the server and not only shattered a multitude of their glasses, but cut my hand open when trying to help clean up?

matthew.sturniolo
Unless any other incidents occured that I am unaware of, that is what I am referring to

logancastillo
okay but it actually was a happy accident
good things come from my unawareness of my surroundings sometimes

matthew.sturniolo
I am on the edge of my seat in anticipation to hear this story

logancastillo
fuck off
turns out, the server just launched a dog grooming company and is looking for clients, and i've been looking for a new place to send my dogs
i never would have discovered her if we hadn't talked while cleaning up the mess

matthew.sturniolo
Okay I see the benefits of that
And your cut hand?

logancastillo
the manager felt bad that i was injured on site even though it was my fault, so she gave me a $50 giftcard
it's not even a bad cut, it'll probably be healed in a couple days lmao

matthew.sturniolo
You are the unluckiest lucky person I know

logancastillo
it's all about the attitude
maybe if you stopped smirking so much and started smiling instead, you would have some good luck too

matthew.sturniolo
I have more than enough luck on my side
And you think I'm hot, so why would I change?

logancastillo
when tf did i tell you i think you're hot??
you're the one who said i'm prettier in person

matthew.sturniolo
I am not denying that I think you're gorgeous.
And your face is an open book. You may be good at keeping secrets, but you wear your emotions on your sleeve. It's not hard to read you

logancastillo
you can pick all that up after meeting me twice?
lowkey spittin

matthew.sturniolo
You forget that your life is posted online. I've seen your videos. I had a good idea of who you were before we ever met
You can keep denying it if you want, but I know I'm right
See you soon sunshine ;)
