"Hmm that's strange"

Gloria said staring at the phone with a raised eyebrow. It's been two days after the proposal and things were starting to look up from Gloria's point of view.

"What's strange?"

Tai asked as he walked towards his fiancee with a bottle of water in his hand just coming from the kitchen.

"Somebody kept calling in private three times already and when I answer the phone, that person hangs up on me"

"Probably it was the wrong number"

"Three times, most likely not"

"Maybe it's just a prank, you know how kids are, I used to do it all the time"

"Hmm"

She hummed with a smirk on her face. Tai grinned as he wrapped his arms around her waist from her behind and gave her a kiss on the cheek causing her to smile.

"How about I answer it okay?"

"Okay"

"Good, now go get ready"

"Yeah yeah"

Gloria said as she made her way to the bathroom. Tai smiled as he let out a sigh, he opened his water bottle up but before he can take a drink the phone ring. Tai let out a sigh as he picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Finally you pick up baby"

Said a female voice, Tai frowned.

"Who is this?"

"Don't play games with me, you know who I am, I am never going to forget our time together"

"Sora?"

"Yes"

Tai immediately looked to see if Gloria was still in the restroom before speaking lowly with venom dropping from his voice.

"What are you doing?"

He hissed.

"I just wanted to talk"

"There is nothing to talk about"

"Yes there is"

"Sora if this is about that morning, I'm sorry"

"There is nothing to be sorry about, we both did what we wanted"

Tai let out a slight growl in anger but kept his voice down.

"No, you did what you wanted"

A moment of silence past on Sora's line.

'Maybe I finally got through to her'

He thought, but that thought was soon shut down as Sora spoke once again.

"Now I want to talk to Gloria, pass her the phone"

Tai grunted in annoyance.

"You're not gonna tell her anything"

"Just watch me"

"Are you blackmailing me?"

"Are you taking me out on a date this weekend?"

She asked ignoring his question. Tai became silent as he closed his eyes and let out a sigh before opening his eyes once again.

"Sora please you already have Matt.."

"I don't want Matt, I want you"

She said cutting him off. Tai stared at the ground biting his lip on what to do.

"But I don't want you, I love Gloria and I am going to marry her"

"Just how long do you think you can keep this up. You can't keep me in the dark forever"

Sora said with a laugh as she hang up the phone. Tai's body froze as he felt his blood run cold. The sound of a click caused Tai to slowly hang the phone up. The door to the bathroom opened.

"Hey babe, have you seen my..."

She said trailing off as she took notice of her fiance's expression.

"Sweety, who was it?"

She asked quietly. Tai kept his hand on the phone as he looked down until his bangs cover his eyes.

"Gloria, do me a favor"

He said lowly and quietly.

"When the phone rings don't answer it anymore. If you're cell phone rings, don't answer it"

Gloria frown.

"What's going on?"

She asked. Just then the sound of the house phone rang again and this time Tai yanked the connection of the cord causing the phone to get cut off.

"Hey!"

Gloria yelled in disbelief at Tai's sudden action. Tai then quickly ran to her purse and took out her cellphone and drop it to the ground smashing it with his feet. Gloria ran to Tai pushed him off her damaged phone.

"Stop! Are you insane?! What's got into you?!"

She yelled.

"Just don't answer any calls"

He said panting.

"What am I suppose to do if my boss calls?"

She asked annoyed placing both her hands on her hips.

"Then I'll get you another cell phone"

He said quietly.

"I don't understand why can't Izzy just.."

"No"

Tai said immeditealy cutting her off.

"I don't want anyone to know about this"

"Know about what? Tai come on, tell me what's really going on"

She asked. Tai was panting as he sadly looked down at his hands that began to shake uncontrollably. Gloria sadly looked to him as tears gathered in her eyes.

"Tai you're scaring me"

At those words, Tai slowly looked up to her and gently grabbed her hands with his.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm just trying to protect you"

He said placing a kiss on both of her hands.

"From who exactly?"

She asked quietly. Tai remained quiet as he stared back at the ground again refusing to answer.

"Tai, please just tell. I'll understand"

'There is no other way, I need to tell her the truth and now'

Tai thought.

'Even though I know I might lose her, but at least I won't have a guilty conscience, right?'

He asked himself before looking into his fiance's eyes with tears threatening to shed.

"Okay, Okay, you're right. You deserve to know what's going on"

He said lowly before leading her to the couch. They sat beside each other, Tai had a tight grip on Gloria's hand afraid to let go of the harsh rejection that he knew will come. He looked into her eyes and saw her concern.

"Tai, whatever it is, we can get through this together"

She said comfortingly as she gave his hand a squeeze in reassurance. Tai sadly looked down at the coffee table.

"Please don't leave me because of this..."

He said trailing off before he felt his body shake in the fear of what he was going to say. Gloria saw his hesitation and the way he was trying to be strong.

"Gloria I..."
