"I'm pregnant?"

Gloria asked softly as she sat up on the bed. The doctor smiled at her.

"Of course, your three weeks along"

"How come, I didn't notice any symptoms?"

"Every female body is different along with pregnancy"

"Ooohhh"

Tai couldn't help but embrace Gloria tightly but was careful with the IV.

"Now this time, I am 100% sure that I'm the father"

Tai said as he lower his had to Gloria's stomach and gently rubbed.

"Hey little one, I'm not sure if you can hear me yet but I can't wait to meet you"

The doctor and Gloria giggled.

"Once I see your better, I'll let you go, if not I will need to call an ambulance for they can take you to the hospital"

The doctor stated after the giggles calmed down. Gloria nodded with a smile.

"Thank you, so much"

She stated as the doctor left the room. Gloria looked down to the stomach to see Tai still baby talking to the unborn child. She gently rubbed his head.

"We are going to have a baby"

Tai smiled

"Yes we are"

He answered as he stood up and pressed his lips to her, kissing her passionately.

8months Later

"Oh Tai, look at this baby pajama, it has a little duckie in the middle"

Gloria said happily. Tai looked up from his phone as he smiled at Gloria

"It looks cute babe"

Tai said with a grin. 8 months have came and gone, Gloria and Tai had decided to put their wedding on hold until after the baby is born. It turned out, Tai and Gloria already found out the news of the gender, its a boy. Tai and Gloria are currently out shopping with Kari and with Tai's Mother looking for baby necessities.

"Tai, could you at least try to like something and put that phone away its distracting the shopping mood"

Kari said with a playful glare.

"Okay, okay"

Tai said as he put his phone away.

"Oh, how about this one?"

Gloria asked holding out a green leprechaun suit. Tai made a face in disgust.

"Ew"

"Ew?"

Gloria asked as she looked to the outfit sadly and began to cry.

"But the baby wants it, Tai!!!"

She wailed.

"Way to go, big brother"

Kari said with a smirk. Tai smiled sheepishly as he held Gloria.

"Okay you're right, I'm sorry. The baby can have whatever he wants"

Gloria soon calmed down and sniffled quietly as she placed the outfit in the cart.

"I knew, I recognize that cry"

Yuuko said happily pushing another cart.

"Mood Swings"

Tai answered quietly to avoid, Gloria from hearing those words. He looked into the cart and gasp.

"Mom! Are you sure we need all of that?"

He asked. Kari looked into the cart and laugh.

"Looks like mom got one of everything from the shelf"

Kari said with a giggle.

"Of course, the baby is going to need all of this"

She answered. Gloria looked into the cart and smiled.

"Thanks for your help, Mrs. Kamiya"

"Oh don't thank me sweetheart, you and Tai deserve this"

She said as they made their way to the register. Tai was left to pay for everything but as they were gonna walk out the door. Gloria stopped causing Tai to freak out as she held her stomach.

"What's wrong? Is it the baby? No, it can't be, we still have another month to go"

Tai questioned. Gloria look to Tai with a smile.

"I'm hungry"

Tai let out a sigh in relief

"Okay where do you want to eat?"

He asked.

"Subway, oh no wait McDonald's, um...."

She thought. Tai looked to her as she said nothing and was surprise to see a sad face forming because tears began to trial down her face once again.

"I can't decide!!!"

She yelled. Tai quickly embraced her once again, held her rubbing her back gently

"There, there it's okay. Look how about I order you a chicken breast sandwich from Subway and nuggets from McDonald's"

"With barbecue sauce?"

She asked with a sniffle.

"Yes with barbecue sauce"

He said.

"Then let's go"

She said happily getting into the car with Yuuko and Kari.

1 month Later

"I don't want to push anymore!!"

Gloria yelled in pain and in tears as she was already in the delivery room with Tai holding on to her hand to give her the support.

"Just three more push"

The doctor instructed from in between Gloria's legs.

"I already push, now leave me alone"

Gloria said angrily. Tai nervously laugh.

"Gloria come on, you can do this"

He insisted. Just then another contraction hit and Gloria quickly began to push.

"Hold the push for a little longer"

The doctor instructed. Gloria screamed as she felt she was being ripped apart.

"Aaaahhhhhh!!!!"

Gloria shouted and in less than a second a wail of a baby's cry filled the room.

"Here we go"

The doctor carried the baby showing it to Tai and Gloria.

"Oh Tai"

Gloria said breathlessly as she looked to the baby who was crying. The nurses quickly cleaned the baby up, weighing it, measuring it and finally handed the baby to Gloria. As soon as the baby's head landed on his mother's chest, he calmed down as he recognized the heartbeat of its mother. Tai smiled proudly as he kissed the baby on the head.

"He's perfect"

Tai stated quietly.

"Yeah he is"

Gloria said tiredly.

"I would need the baby boy's name"

The nurse said.

"The name is Taichi Kamiya"

Tai answered. The nurse smiled

"It's a beautiful name"

She answered as she left.

"Tai"

Gloria said tiredly. Tai walked back to her.

"What's wrong?"

"It's your turn to carry him"

Tai smiled.

"I honestly been waiting my whole life for this moment"

He answered honestly as he carried the baby into his arms.

"Ssshhh it's okay, it's just daddy. I just wanted to have a good look at you"

Tai notice a patch of brown hair on top of its head.

"Yeah your my kid, you have my hair"

The baby gently fluttered its eyes open and gently closed it before smiling toothlessly. Tai was surprise.

"Hey look, he smiled, Gloria"

Tai frown as he didn't get a response and look to see her sleeping with a smile.
