"Just come and see for yourselves!" I hissed nearly annoyed at the girls.

Am going to tell them the big news!

I want to tell them face to tell them face.Salima is heavily pregnant so she is not coming but Du'a,Fatima,Maryam and Rabi'atu said they are coming.

"This better not be one of your stupid prank jokes." Du'a warned making me roll my eyes "I am a grown up now girls!" I stated like it is the most obvious thing in the world.

"You girls don't have to come!" I said hanging up the video call "They are all so annoying!" I shouted a little throwing the pillow to the door and that was the moment the door opened.The pillow landed on Du'as head and she let out a scowl "Way to go!!" She growled making the rest laugh.

I happily stood up and jumped on them in the name of hugging them "I remember her saying that she is a grown up now," Rabi'atu teased and I smacked her.

"I missed you girls a lot!!" I stated happily "It has been long since we met,we didn't go for an outing in a long time! We really need to go for one,like on 1st January!" I stated loving the idea.

"I am very sure you didn't call us just to tell us that you miss us." Fatima said jumping on the bed "Well,I didn't." I said giggling.

"All of us got busy with our lives." Maryam stated "And school is being sooo hectic." Du'a groggily said.She just seem to be in a bad mood today.

"Okay guys we have a lot of time to talk about all this,for now I need to tell you all the big news!" I stated as I stood up.

I raised my hand which had a ring on it "A has proposed!" I shouted and a moment of silence passed.

All of them had their mouth agape with a shock look on their eyes.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!" All of them shouted together as they jumped on me "I am so happy for you!!" Fatima stated.

"Tell us everything,if you dare miss out on a single thing, I will kill you." Maryam said making me roll my eyes.

"Ohh my God.I can't believe it!" Rabi'atu said excitedly.

I turned to Du'a and she was smiling at me,she hugged me tightly laughing as she mouth "That is why I said I want a man like A!"

I punched her shoulders making her wince "Congratulations my girl!" Du'a shouted hugging me again.

"Enough." I stated hyperventilating.

Their crazily hug made me nearly breathless,oh Allah give those girls sense.

Give me too! Lmao.

"Details?" Du'a asked and I smiled.

"Yesterday,A told me that we will be going out in the evening and he told me to wear white clothes.Do you girls remember that gown style that all of us did,but different colors?" I asked and they nodded their head eagerly "You know that mine is white right?" They all nodded their head.

"So I wore it!" I exclaimed and Du'a sigh dreamily "It always look so good on you!" She stated and I smiled "That is why I wore it." I stated giving her a high five.

"So we went to one open restaurant at the beach side.." Yes,I was cut off "So romantic! Ya Allah! Date at the beach side!" Rabi'atu exclaimed.

"Awwn." They chorus making me roll my eyes "So we were given a secluded area near the river and the table was arranged beautifully with two cups filled with champagne." I continued narrating getting more excited with each second,I still have the blurry image of yesterday on my head,the feelings,the happiness, I remember everything.

I reach for my phone and opened it then showed them the pictures.

"Ya ilahi! You two are so cute masha Allah." Fatima cooed.

"Handsome and beautiful." Rabi'atu said dreamily.

"The place looks so perfect,it is like a dream come true to be there right Hudaya?" Maryam asked and I nodded my head.

"It really was,the candles and roses had nice fragrance,the place was quite like their is no one there,only the sound of river tides.A turned on a slow music from his phone making it more perfect!" I laughed happily.

"The ring was inside my cup of champagne." I stated waiting for their reactions.

"Abdallah is really unique in everything." Fatima stated completely surprised.

"I agree with you,he proposed to her by telling his baby niece in her ear.That seems so romantic and now this.Lahaula I want my own Abdallah." Maryam whined making me laugh.

"What if you mistakenly gulped down the ring?" Rabi'atu asked "I don't know." I laughed "What matters is I didn't." I laughed.

"And then?" Du'a pushed "He acted like he was clueless about the ring then he faked being angry at the waiters." I laughed "Before I can realize,he was on his knees with the ring."

"Omoooooooooooo!" Rabi'atu yelled hugging me tightly.

"How did the ring get to him?" Maryam asked "Oh,I am the one who gave it to him to see. I was like "A ring inside my glass,look" and it got to his hand!" I laughed.

"It was such a romantic and dramatic proposal!" Du'a awwed as she held my hand which had the ring on it and fondled it "The ring is so beautiful."

"Yess" All of them agreed.

We chatted some more and ate lunch before they all left.

I kept my phone aside when mama called my name "We have tons of work to do,you know that." Mama stated eyeing me "I was just about to come out when you called." I lied.

Baba is coming home today so we need to cook for him.Delicious food always have to await him.

After two hours of cooking,we finally kept the warmers on the dining table and mama went to take her bath.

I decided to go to Yaya's room and check on him.

"I really thought you were not around." I stated sitting down on his bed "I just woke up from sleep." He replied.

"Well,better stop making yourself lazy,you are going back to work next week." I stuck my tongue out "Stop reminding me,I hate work." He stated "But you love salary!" I laughed.

"Oh that,I do!" He replied laughing.

"What did you and mama cook today?" He asked "We cooked your least favorite today." I said laughing "Potato casserole?"

I nodded my head laughing "I am very sure that it was your idea." He stated and I nod my head admitting it shamelessly.

"Get yourself a wife,she will only cook your favorite." I teased "Yen yen yen yen." He said dramatically but I didn't miss the little smile caressing his lips.

What is he hiding from me?

I shrugged it off and went back to my room.About an hour later Baba's horn blared into out ear.We all went to the parlor and waited for him.

He was welcomed with smiles "Welcome back baba." I said smiling at him "Thank you Hudaya." He smiled "How have you been?" He asked "Fine alhmdllh." I replied.

I went back to my room to let mama and baba bond, I heard mama shouting my name after some minute "Come and serve your mother?"

Mothers are so weird.

The food was right in front of mama but she called me to come and serve it.

I served baba food and I didn't miss the way he was staring at me more than he usually did.I finished and flashed him a smile before I started walking back to my room.

"I didn't even realize when she grew up.It was just like yesterday that you gave birth to her." I heard baba's voice and I entered my room knowing that I will hear them from there if I leave the door open.

"She is all grown up." Mama smiled fondly "That reminds me,Abdallah's representatives are willing to come before you go back.So they said you should choose a day."

"Is tomorrow okay for them?" He asked after thinking "It is.Abdallah doesn't like any delay," She laughed "He is sooo in love with her,it makes me happy," She stated.

"Remember,I was also eager when we were about to get married?" He asked laughing "I do." She laughed "After our marriage,you were so clingy.You used to skip work days just to be with me." She laughed again.

"You used to be head over heels for me." She stated "I still am." He replied making mama chuckle shyly.

"The days look so far behind now,it is now history." She smiled fondly at him.

I closed the door and sat down smiling.

Isn't that goals?

I can't wait for the day me and A will reminisce those kind of memories.

My phone rang and it is Du'a.

"Hello lonely girl." I laughed.

She didn't even mind the name I called her as she shouted.

"We are now mothers! Salima have given birth to a bouncing baby boy!"
