Did you know a plane takes off 

every few seconds on one of our runways,

the Civil Aviation authorities 

do all they can to stop delays.

Their members include air traffic control,

engineers and pilots too,

cabin crew,check in and security,

all working so hard for you .

International Civil Aviation Day is celebrated each year on December 7th, this is to raise awareness of the importance of international civil aviation and bring attention to the role of the International Civil Aviation Organisation in its role of improving standards and safety in air transport. The ICAO was established on December 7th 1944 to secure international cooperation and unity in civil aviation
