It's energy conservation day

so let's see what we can do,

turn down the heating thermostats

and that on the boiler too.

Let's use low energy light bulbs,

don't use the bath,take a shower,

use energy efficient appliances 

and this way we'll use less power.

World Energy Conservation Day is always celebrsted on December 14th, it is to make people aware that the resources used for energy are only available in limited quantities, coal is expected to last around 200 years, gas 65 years and oil about 51 years. We must all make an effort to reduce energy consumption, this can be done in numerous ways, choose energy efficient light bulbs, turn off at the socket all electrical devices not in use, turn down thermostats on boilers, shower instead of taking a bath, keep your fridge and freezer full at most times,wash clothes at lower temperatures and use public transport instead of the car, all these help.
