The wind blew as the cold breeze of air kissed my skin. The Lozano's private plane towered over us.

I can hear Callum talking to Ryder. While Vynz's standing beside Mirae, his arm's encircled around her waist.

I don't have any idea why we're going to States. Sa tingin ko ay wala ring alam sina Archer at Creed.

I stilled when I felt Hoax's hand on my back. I removed my aviators as I eyed him.

He tilted his head and asked. "Can we talk later?" The softness in his voice made me nod my head. It reminds me of something I don't know if I'll believe. He didn't signed our divorce papers. He's still my husband. My heart pounded at the thought.

Inilibot ko ang paningin sa kabuuan ng lugar upang mabaling ang aking pansin at natanaw ang aming hinihintay.

Creed's walking towards our direction with full of authority in his shirt. His cold eyes were directed at us. Archer's casually walking while his hands were in his pocket. Nakangisi ito at diretso ang tingin.

I frowned as my eyes darted at familiar woman with them. Napalabi ako at mariing iniisip kung bakit siya pamilyar sa akin. Nang natanto ay wala sa sariling napatingin ako kay Mirae. Bumaling siya sa akin at ngumisi. "That's Maureen Lazaro," She informed and I raised my brow up. From that, I already know she has a plan.

Hoax leaned as I felt his warm breath on my ear and whispered. "That's-"

"Yes," Sagot ko, hindi na hinintay na matapos pa ang kanyang sasabihin.

Tuluyan silang nakalapit sa amin. I saw Mirae turned to the plane and was about to enter when Archer pulled Vynz. Kinuwelyuhan niya ito at nginisihan. Matapos ay agad na sinuntok sa mukha. My eyes widened as my hand flew on my mouth. I heard Callum's reaction but he didn't do anything.

Agad na dinaluhan ni Mirae si Vynz. I glanced at Creed, the side of his lips rose up. Mukhang walang balak awatin si Archer.

Hindi pa ako nakakabawi nang makitang susugurin ni Hoax si Archer.

"Hoax!" I shrieked as I tugged his shirt. I held his arm and tried to pulled him away from Archer. Laking pasalamat ko nang nagpahila siya sa akin ngunit hindi nawala ang maririing titig niya kay Arch. Igting ang panga at madilim ang mga matang tinitigan niya ito.

"Hoax," I whispered. Namilog ang aking mga mata nang ngisihan ni Archer si Hoax. My grip on his arm tightened, low-key telling him to ignore Archer. Sa huli ay napailing na lamang ako.

"Let's go," I pulled Hoax towards the entrance of the plane. Dahil kung hindi ay baka magkaasaran pa sila.

Sumunod na rin sa amin ang iba naming mga kasama.

"Welcome aboard, Ma'am, Sir," The flight attendant greeted as she slightly nodded her head when we entered.

Isa sa mga flight attendants ang kumuha ng aming gamit.

Dumiretso kami sa main cabin ng plane. Habang ang iba ay nagtungo sa ibang bahagi nito.

The huge cabin offers seating for up to forty VIP passengers. There is a private bedroom, large private bathroom, dining lounge, and a full stand-up wet bar along with the modern entertainment system. There are lot more on the other cabins ngunit hindi na namin pinuntahan iyon.

A few minutes after the plane departed, I decided to talk to Hoax. Maybe this time, we can talk about what he wants to talk to a while ago.

We went towards one of the private bedroom.

I sat in the bed as I eyed Hoax who's closing the door.

"What..." Tumikhim ako at nagpatuloy. "Do you want to talk about?"

He's now standing in front while intently looking at me. His eyes softened as he licked his lower lip. He's now holding a brown envelope. Ngayon ko lang napansin iyon.

I rose up as I looked at what he's holding.

I met Hoax's eyes. He handed me the envelope as he speak. "Let's fix this, Hon." Namumungay ang kanyang mga mata. My knees wobbled as I heard his voice, marahan at tila nagsusumamo. "Can we?" He continued.

Hindi man niya direktang tinukoy ay natanto ko kung ano ang ibig niyang sabihin. With my trembling hands and pounding heart, I took the envelope from his hand. I'm not sure but I have an idea what's inside.

I even heaved a deep breath as I tried to calm myself before opening the envelope.

Nang mabuksan iyon ay marahan kong hinugot ang papel na nasa loob noon. My eyes immediately darted at the names below.

Hoax Octavius Devaughne and Astrid Celestina Devaughne. Above Hoax's name is his signature. My lips parted as I blinked. Napamaang akong bumaling kay Hoax. My hand flew on my mouth as I tried to suppress the sob coming out of it.

"Let's start a new," He whispered as he held my elbow.

I felt my tears rolling down my cheeks as I repeatedly nodded my head. "Y-yes."

His eyes lit up as a smile crept in his lips. Hoax immediately wiped my tears. He pulled me closer as he encircled his arms around me. Mahigpit niya akong niyakap. I felt him caressing my hair as he whispered on my ear. "I love you, Hon. I love you."

My eyes automatically shut closed when I felt his lips on the top of my head. He's still hugging me tight. I clung my arms on his neck as I leaned on his chest. Mariin akong napapikit nang marinig ang tibok ng kanyang puso. But I'm not sure if its his or mine, or from the both of us.

Bahagya siyang lumayo. Our eyes met and he leaned to give me a kiss. Napapikit ako nang dumampi sa akin ang kanyang mga labi. His kisses were soft like I'm a fragile, na para bang sa isang maling galaw ng kanyang mga labi ay mawawala ako.

He tilted his head as he cupped my cheeks. My arms' still on his nape while I'm still holding the divorce paper. I tiptoed and gave his kisses back.

Lumalim ang aming mga halik hanggang sa marinig namin ang pagbukas ng pinto. I heard someone gasped. Agad akong napabitaw kay Hoax. Our chest's heaving up and down. Kapwa naghahabol ng hininga. I turned to the room's entrance and saw Mirae's hired nurse.

"S-sorry," She stammered. Bakas ang hiya sa mukha. Agad niyang sinarado ang pinto.

I turned to Hoax. "S-susundan ko lang," I muttered, pertaining to Maureen or whatever her name is.

"Hmm." Namumungay ang mga matang tumango siya.

A smile crept in my mouth as I reached his lips and gave him a peck. Agad akong tumalikod nang maramdaman ang pagiinit ng aking mga pisngi.

I went outside the private room. Agad ko namang nakita ang nurse ni Mirae. I don't even know why she needs to hire one. Mukha pang hindi nurse ang na-hired niya. I mean, she looks more like on a designing field.

"Miss Lazaro," I called.

She looked back at me with her innocent stares. Maamo ang mukha niya at hindi mo aakalain na anak siya ng isang kriminal.

"S-sorry. I knocked but no one answered. I thought--I'm sorry," Marahang sambit niya. She nibbled her lips as she looked at me.

I gave her a smile as I walked near her. Inilahad ko ang aking palad at pormal na nagpakilala, though I'm not sure if she knew me already. "Astrid Dela--Devaughne."

"Maureen." She bit her lower lip. "Maureen Lazaro." A smile tugged at her lips as she shook my hand.

"So, you're a nurse?" I asked while we're walking towards the entertainment area.

She nodded her head. "Yes."

Nang makarating kami ay naabutan namin doon ang lahat ng aming kasamahan maliban kay Hoax at may kanya-kanyang ginagawa. There is a fourteen seater sofa in the middle of it. I sat down near Archer as I put the envelope on my legs. Si Maureen at tumabi sa akin ngunit may sapat na distansya para sa aming dalawa.

"Arch," I called when I saw him looking at nowhere. Hindi man lang niya namalayan na tumabi ako sa kanya.

He turned to me with his confused eyes. "Huh?"

"You okay?" Mukhang wala siya sa sarili. Samantalang kanina ay ang lakas ng loob niyang suntukin si Vynz. At masasabi kong malakas ang suntok niya dahil nakita ko ang pagdurugo ng labi ni Vynz. Mirae even asked for a first aid kit to clean Devaughne's lips. Ngayon ay para bang okupado ang kanyang isip.

"Hmm." He nodded his head as he gave me a mischievous smirk. "Diretso sa private room, huh?"

I almost rolled my eyes when I saw his annoying expression. He's back at it again.

"What?" I raised my brow up on him.

"Devaughne, Devaughne." He tsked as he gave me a malicious look. Bumaba ang tingin niya sa envelope na nakapatong sa aking mga hita. "Ano 'yan?"

I rolled my eyes on him.

"Nagagaya ka na kay Mirae," Pabirong sambit niya. Mirae heard what he said, kaya naman sinamaan siya nito ng tingin. Arch chuckled at Mirae's reaction.

Hindi ko na siya nasagot dahil sa pagdating ni Hoax. Umusad si Maureen upang bigyan ito ng pwesto sa aking tabi.

His hand immediately flew on his waist. Archer blew a fake cough. Kaya naman napunta sa amin ang atensyon ng lahat. Kasabay noon ang biglang pagalis ni Archer.

I saw Mirae looking at Hoax's hand on my waist. Nang nagtama ang aming tingin ay agad niya akong nginisihan, na kala unan ay nauwi sa isang ngiti. She secretly gave me a thumbs up. Nakita iyon ni Vynz kaya naman nabaling ang atensyon ni Mirae.

I didn't expect that Mirae would support our relationship. I mean, Hoax is a Devaughne. Or is it because she's with Vynz? But maybe not. I remember, she once told me to fix my relationship with my husband, yet she and Vynz's not in a good terms too that time.

We arrived at Lozano's mansion after travelling for almost a day. Lozano's contemporary mansion towered over the other mansion on its side. May limampung metro ang lalo noon sa mga katabing mansyon. Natatangi ang mansyon ng mga Lozano dahil sa laki nito.

Theo, Mirae's cousin welcomed us. Iginiya niya kami sa living room at nagsimula na itong makipagbatian sa amin. Hindi nakalagpas sa akin ang maririin niyang tingin sa mga Devaughne.

"Theo," Mirae called her cousin.

"They're upstairs," Simple at diretsong sagot nito. Wala sa sariling napatingin ako sa ikalawang palapag ng mansyon. Agad na nawala roon ang aking atensyon.

I turned to Maureen and saw her looking uncomfortable. I walked near her as I tried to start a conversation. Even if her family's one of the Cosmos' rival, I don't want to be rude. Lalo na at wala naman siyang ginagawang masama.

"Are you okay?" I asked. Agad naman niya akong tinanguan. "If you need something, just tell the helpers. Alright?"

She smiled at me. "S-sige. Salamat."

I saw Mirae walking at our direction. Agad niyang binalingan si Maureen. "Rest for a while. Ipapakilala ko sa'yo mamaya ang aalagaan mo."

Maureen nodded her head as she smiled.

Mirae turned to her cousin. "Theo, can you accompany her to the guest room?" Agad naman itong Tumango at iginiya si Maureen.

Dumating ang dalawang house helpers na may dalang pagkain at inumin.

Callum, Archer and Ryder are seating in the couch. There's a Scandinavian floor lamp in the both side of it. Sa magkabila naman ng lamp ay may tigdalawang single seater sofa. In the middle of the living room is a large low glass table. In front, there is a wall mounted television at sa baba noon ay isang modern electric fireplace. The fireplace is completed with a wide screen glass fronted electric fire with black nickel trim and three bar fret.

Si Creed naman ay bahagyang lumayo para sagutin ang tawag sa kanyang phone. Bago pa ito tuluyang makalayo ay narinig ko ang pagsambit nito sa pangalan ni Amherst.

Ang magkapatid ay nanatiling nakatayo. Ganoon din kami ni Mirae.

"You too," Nakangiting baling sa akin ni Mirae. Agad ko namang nakuha ang ibig niyang sabihin.

"Hmm, later. What's the real reason behind this?" We went here knowing nothing about the real reason why. Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili na hindi itanong iyon.

"Later," Panggagaya niya sa sinabi ko. My lips parted a bit but she just gave me a smile.

A helper asked if we want something else but Archer just shook his head.

A familiar old man walked down the stairs. Nabaling ang tingin ko roon, alam kong ganoon din ang aming mga kasama.

"Lolo, what are you doing here?" Tanong ni Hoax at ganoon din ang tanong ko sa aking isipan.

This is Lozano's mansion, right? We're not on the wrong mansion.
