You stood up from your seat and bowed at your in laws that just exited the room, leaving you alone at the breakfast table as TaeYong had left way before them as per usual. You casually ordered the maids to clean it up as you weren't planning to eat more then you exited the room yourself, your butler following you as he did from the moment you had woke up.  For some reason his behavior was rather professional today . Not that you minded. You were actually happy that he had finally gotten the message and had decided to maintan his distance from you and leave whatever went down yesterday in the past. 

"Tell the driver to get ready. I need to do some shopping today. " You spoke without turning to face him as you continued your way up the stairs and to your room where you spend more than half an hour getting ready for an outing. 

You weren't really in a mood to go out but since TaeYong's cousin was still around and he had yet to wake up, you preferred to not see him at all because you would surely be reminded of the words he said last night regarding your friend and you didn't want to ruin your mood pretending to be good with  him. 

You took one more look at the mirror once you felt satisfied with your make up and stood up , giving a check at the long black skirt you had chosen and then smiled at your reflection in approval. Chic clothes might not be your personal style but they indeed were a good  fit for your body ,especially when it was all black as your outfit was today. A black turtle neck, warm and thick with a high long black skirt and a black leather jacket. The red lipstick that you had chosen and the way you had styled your hair up in a messy bun brought more attention on your facial futures and all together was a perfect casual look, elegant and young enough to suit someone that held a high position as you were yet was a young woman ,with youth flowing inside her.

Grabbing your bag , you stepped out of the door , your heels sounding on the corridors as you paced with confidence and elegance. You stood at the top of the stairs for a moment as you scanned the place with your eyes then you stepped down while looking at your phone that was on your left hand.

"I will be back before evening if anyone  asks."  You told the maids that were standing at the end of the stairs and they bowed their heads as you continued walking, out of the house and into the car that was waiting for you with its door open and Jimin seating at the front seat along with the driver, instead of behind were he used to before and once again you had found this fact pleasant.

It seems he understood his place.I don't need to worry about that anymore then.

You had thought after you ordered the driver to take off with destination the mall and pressed the button for the wall between the front seats and you to close, gifting you your privacy .

---Time skip---

Namjoon was driving toward's Jimin's house when he suddenly saw SooLin walking down the pavement . He passed by her and went till a place were he was able to turn around his car and then returned to her, scrolling down his window and calling her name, making her turn her head at  the side and let him face her surprised expression caused by his sudden appearence before her eyes.

"Namjoon?! What are you doing here?"She asked him and he just smiled before leaning over and opening the door of the passenger's seat for her." Please get in quickly." He told her right after a honk from a car behind him was heard , his stop being an obtacle. SooLin quickly got inside and he took off immediately , while apologizing at the car that passed him by .

"Were you going to pick up the kids from the kindergarten ? " He questioned as he already was heading that way , being 99% sure that his assumption was right as at this hour the kids should be getting off.

"Yes. How about you? Did you had anything job related around the area or something?" She asked him as she fixed her seat belt before making herself comfortable as she mostly was at Namjoon's presence .

They were at the same age after all and have known each other since they were kids. Most of her life she had been classmates with him at school and even seat near each other for some years till their ways parted and he went to university while she decided to marry the guy whom she loved from the second year of highschool. Not to mention that Namjoon had always been close friends with her little brother Jimin and because of that they had passed much time together at her house. In general, outside of her family circle ,Namjoon was the only person whom SooLin trusted and was always comfortable with even though for some reason lately the comfortable feeling she had at his presence had started to tremble.

"Oh no. Nothing of that sort. I just wanted to pay you a visit. I missed the kids and it's been a while since i didn't come to see Mr Park. I wouldn't like it if he was to think i forgotten about him or the chess  game i promised to play with him." Namjoon smiled brightly at the end of his explaination as he kept looking ahead and he couldn't help but steal a glance at the woman that was seated next  to him, seeing that she had smiled as well because of his saying.

"Of course father is always happy to see you. You should come more often. You are always welcomed. The kids have been feeling lonely since Jimin left and they would be more than delighted to play with you as well. " She talked and he listened with a smile even though his mind was stuck only at one question which he didn't dare to ask.

What about her? Was she happy when he visited? Or was it only the others that were happy seeing him? 

"Right?"

"Yes." 

He confirmed before taking the turn and continued his ride till he stopped at the side of the road, kids with their parents already walking all around that area . He rolled down the window as SooLin just stepped down and passed at the opposite side of the road ,heading inside the bulding to take her kids and he waited there for a while till he saw them getting out, each standing by the side of their mother, holding her hand.

"Uncle Joonie~"Little  Yuna Called at him full of happiness as soon as he fell to her sight and rushed to pass the street letting go of SooLin's hand unexpectedly . Her ponytails were swinging from left to right but as soon as Namjoon saw her running recklessly like that , he panicked and got out of the car and run to her instead, grabbing her in his arms and pulling her in his embrace ,safely.

" Yuna! You shouldn't cross the road like that. You should look first. Have you forgotten what mommy has taught you?" Namjoon gently scolded her but the little girl just smiled and clinged on his neck, hugging him tight.

"I won't do it again Uncle Joonie. I just got excited to see you." She smiled and SooLin shook her head from right to left as she was smiling .

"Uncle Joonie. I am here too." SuJae said to get Namjoon's attention as he was feeling left out because he had yet to acknowledge him .

"Oh SuJae. Of course i saw you. How could i not see such a grown man. But ladies come first." Namjoon ruffled his hair as he kneeled down leaving Yuna on her feet . 

"Of course i know. Ladies come first for a gentleman and i will be a gentleman too when i grow more. Just like you Uncle Joonie." The kid looked at him with eyes full of admiration and Namjoon could swear he felt his heart being filled with love ,so much that his heart beat sped up from happiness.

"Uncle Jimin is a  gentelman too. Not only me." Namjoon replied as he felt a bit shy by the statement as he locked eyes with SooLin .

"Uncle Jimin has never brought a girl home so we don't really know how he treats ladies." Yuna explained.

"But we have seen you with women so we know." SuJae added to his sister's response , his words taking Namjoon by surprise as well as wonder where had he seen him and with which woman. His confusion was visible at his facial expression so much that made the two kids look at each other and laugh.

"Now now, enough with the talk. We should get in the car. Hurry." SooLin got things moving as the kids listened to her and after she secured them at the back seat she took her seat at the front next to Namjoon whom quickly took off with destination their house.

The kids were the only ones disturbing the silence as he drove, SooLin having said nothing as well as he till SuJae directed him a question " Uncle Joonie can you come pick us from school more often?"

Namjoon looked at him through the rearview mirror  while SooLin turned towards him and kindly asked him why he wanted Uncle Joonie to go pick him up. The two kids looked at each other for a moment unsure if they should answer but Yuna gathered her courage and spoke up.

"Our friends always ask where our dad is and we wanted to have a dad show up to take us so they can see that they aren't the only ones that have a dad." Her response clearly affected SooLin as her eyes softened ,feeling sorry towards them.

"Yuna dear, SuJae my love. You know that-"

"We know that dad can't come because he is in the sky now and we shouldn't lie that we have a dad since uncle Joonie isn't our dad but uncle Jimin always used to say that Uncle Joonie would be a great dad."

"Yes and we love him so we decided to take him as our dad. Since we can't have our dad now we can get another one , right mom?" Yuna added after her brother SuJae spoke ,leaving both Namjoon and SooLin speechless as well as flustered.

"Yah! What are this kind of requests? Uncle Joonie is busy and has his own life-"

"I will come." Namjoon cut SooLin's words off making her turn around and face him while he kept looking ahead finding it difficult for him to look her way not only because he was driving.

"I will make some time at some days and i will come pick you up. We can fool your classmates together till you get a new dad. What do you say?" He gave them a cheeky smile and the kids cheered in approval while SooLin fell quiet and lowered her head , feeling a bit embarrassed as well as a bit sad that her kids were in need of a father and that was something she wasn't able to provide them with.
