Well I couldn't grasp the reality yet. This I never expected. I had many theories about Vicky's condition, and millie's disappearance. But this I never imagined. I decided to stay  for a while and get a gist of it. Before making an appearance.

" yes mom, it's because of you why Vicky is in this sick condition. You are the one who made this mess. It's you who destroyed our happiness. Millie was my best friend. You not only hurt us. You hurt her too... how could you mom! And since three years. I'm hiding this truth and living a life full of guilt. I can't even look at my brother. For it my guilt will destroy me. Maggie was sobbing, I couldn't take it any more. But before I step in Mrs. Rohini Verma said,

"Can't you see what I did is for the best!! Sofia is better than millie"

"Oh mom, you will destroy even her life. I agree she's a good person. But she's not fit for Vicky. Vicky, I and Atul loves only millie. We want her back. And don't tell me again to associate with that wrench!!"

Ouch!! Truth hurts, I thought we Will be good friends. I had no idea. This is the way she thought of me. May be I can understand that she still wants millie in,the picture. But that doesn't mean she can call me a wrench.

But I,let it go. Because I know she's hurting. But Atul!? For this I wasn't prepared. He was like a brother to me. How could people do such horrible things.

Anyways it's time I show myself. I should be careful, in front of these people or else they will crush me.

"What is this all about??"

With that I entered the patio.

Both stilled with shock. I couldn't look at Maggie. Because I'm disappointed. She could have showed her real feelings from the beginning. But she played me.

I might forgive her, but I'm not ready to forget about this.

"Maggie, I think you should call it a night,. It's time I get the answers I seek."

"Sof, I......."

"That's ok Maggie. You don't have to call me sof, you should take rest. And no matter what don't think it's your fault ever. Because it isn't. Shit happens!! Your brother needs you. Be with him now. Tell him, when he gains his memory. I am sure he won't blame you."

"Oh, sof I didn't mean...."

"Hey, that's ok. I understand. Please go dear I need to have a talk with your mother"

She looked as if she wanted to say something. But then she just looked at me with shameful look and left the room.

Then,I faced Mrs. Verma,

"I think it's time you tell me everything."

"You are right, but how about we talk about this tomorrow. It's 2 already."

" You are right, will meet at 10 am??"

"Okay"

This is the first time, I have seen her taking orders from others. I just left the patio and went to my room.

Laying on the bed, I couldn't stop the thoughts filling me. I couldn't grasp any thing. All I wanted is to be with Vicky.

I don't know , how long I have with him. Maggie confirmed me, that Vicky could never love me. But I feel for him. It's not love yet. But it's close to love.

I know I'm bound to get hurt. Oh God! What should I do.

With these thoughts I slept.

I woke up to my phone ring. It was vicky. I smiled at that and attended his call,

" good morning soppy,"

"Good morning, Vicky. How are you??"

"I'm fine thank you. Today we are coming back. I have a surprise for you."

"Really now??  What is that surprise??"

Vicky, you idiot, it's a surprise you can't tell what is that to her...

Oh ok. I won't tell her I bought a teddy bear for her.

Rahul just laughed at that...."

Even I did laugh with him.

"Okay, Vicky don't tell me about your surprise . You can give it to me when we meet..."

"Yessss.... see Rahul, I can keep secrets.

"Awww... Vicky miss you too.."

Miss you too soppy, that was Rahul.

I could hear Vicky scolding him not to call me soppy.

I just smiled at his cuteness and got ready to face the dreadful morning with the she-devil.

After taking bath and having breakfast. We went to the gardens.

"Sofia, what ever I tell you, you shouldn't interrupt till I'm finished okay."

"Okay"

" Vicky was very bright and intelligent boy. At the age of ten he was discovered as mathematics genius. We were a happy loving family. Maggie was 6 at that time and Atul was 3. That's when our business started blooming. As you know I and Shekhar both handle the business together.

It was very difficult for us, handle three children and the business.

So I asked my parents to watch over maggie and Atul, some times We carried Atul with us every where. Since vikram had school he had to stay here. We trusted,Mary. She was good at her job.

We didn't even realise. How busy we were. We missed so many things in our children's life.
We aren't proud of it.

When we stabilised all the business I returned home, Vicky was 20 at that time. He had already started his own company with his friend Rahul. We were so proud. He expanded his business even to the western side of world.

We wanted to congratulate him.
We came to his award function, where he was awarded as youngest billionaire,

His indifference towards us showed , what we lost. We wanted to apologize.  But his cold behavior seemed to grow each day. He started hating us. Not that we blame him.

Then at his 21st b'day, he brought a girl. He dated many. He was a play boy. We always kept tabs on him.
But with this girl he was serious.
That girl was gorgeous no doubt. But she was a complete push over.

They were still young, but they were so in love. Or that's what they thought. But I could see, what they couldn't.

Millie wasn't brave and strong headed.
She could be easily manipulated and she was scared of me...
