Chapter 6: Suspicions
As the woman read the note, she can't help but to stare at it.
"So... This is it" she thought.
She closed it and put it back to your pocket. She quietly walked outside of your room, through the hallway, and to her room. She sat down on the bed and stared at the wall.
"There's no going back" she thought once again.

"Good morning, mom!!" You started the day with a shout on the woman's room. The woman stayed still, sleeping peacefully.
"That's weird. She usually wakes up when I'm shouting first thing in the morning." You mumbled. You then crawled to her bed and later beside her, your arm wrapped around her.
"Mom~ Wake up~" In a whisper-tone voice, you said it to her ear, but to no avail.
"Mom." You said while tapping her nose endlessly. Later on, you pouted, giving up. You were about to stand up when a hand grabbed your arm and pulled you to its chest. You were shocked, but giggled anyways. You wrapped your arm around her and buried your face more on her chest. Typical mornings for the both of you, indeed.
"Mornin'~" She whispered with a chuckle.
"Mom, let's make breakfast together~" You said, your face still on her chest.
"Yes, yes~" She agreed as she stood up with you following suit.
While in the kitchen, the woman is beating some eggs while you're preparing some milk and coffee. As you went to the refrigerator to get some water, you saw a pack of tube ice. A terrible idea suddenly came into your mind. You grabbed one tube and sneaked behind the woman's back.
"Mom~" You whispered softly as you put the ice inside her shirt. In response, she jumped a bit and squirmed, trying to remove it from her skin while screaming. You laughed so hard at the sight of her being so shocked.
"(Y/N)!!" She shouted your name, still trying to remove the ice while you're laughing so hard.

"Momo... Always treating me like a kid." I thought as kicked a rock out of frustration with my hoodie on.
I'm walking along the sidewalk of Ene-san's old school. I made a quick glance...
My eyes widen with the sight I just saw. "What the hell...?! This can't be..!" I panicked inside my head. I quickly ran back to Kido-san and the others, sweat running down my cheeks. But I felt something wrap around my leg, making me fall to the ground. I turned to look at what or who it is but my eyesight was covered and everything went pitch black.
"Too bad. You came too early." A dark voice said as unconsciousness swallowed me whole.
[2nd Person's PoV]
After having a disturbing morning, you decided to read a book while laying lazily down the couch. The woman is in the kitchen, fixing some stuff. While cleaning stuff, her phone rang. She picked it up and walked to a corner.
"Yes~ What made you call~?" She said merrily.
"------ -- -------." Her face bent into a serious one.
"Do you need me?" She asked seriously. And after hearing the person's answer, she hung up.
"Mom, who's that?" You asked. Her face suddenly turned upside-down. She turned and grinned at you.
"Just an old friend I met again a few days ago, honey~ She needs some help with something." She patted your head.
"Oh. Who?" You asked again with a straight face. A sweat fell down from her cheek as she smiled wearily.
"No need for you to know, dear. You were not born yet when I met her." You nodded as she walked out of the kitchen. You squinted your eyes out of suspicion. She's acting strange, indeed. Nonetheless, you continued what you were doing and let her change her clothes. She descended the stairs with her casual wear.
"I'm leaving~" She announced before turning the doorknob of your front door.
"Okay~ Be careful!" You said as you gave her a kiss on the cheek. As she closed the door, you narrowed your eyebrows.
"She's not like that before. She always bring me to her friend's houses as to not let me be alone in here. And she always tell the name of her friend... Hmm... Maybe she changed?" Questions of suspicion rang inside your head. But you just stick with the thought of her changing. After all, it's not good to jump to conclusions. You shrugged these thoughts off and continued what you've started.
[3rd Person's PoV]
The woman walked silently along the path, a straight face on. Emotions are not visible on her face, being dead serious on what the caller said. As she turned to a corner, she was welcomed by a hooded silhouette.
"Are you done?" The hooded silhouette asked her. She sighed for a bit and looked down, removing something from her face.
"Yep, seems like I'm free now~" A familiar voice replied merrily.
"Quite shocking that you're not in trouble after these past few days." It smirked, leaning against the wall for support. In response, he grinned.
"Well, I'm an expert when it comes to this, you know?" He winked. The silhouette chuckled and faced him.
"So. About what happened," his face suddenly gone straight again. "We need you in this, Kano."
