Toshiko: Sorry to keep you waiting, min'na-san! But here it is~ The Chapter 1!!

It has been so many years since your mother died and yet you can't help but to feel lonely. Every time you feel such thing, your powers always went out of control. But of course, you don't want that to happen. So you tried not to think about your mother so that you won't feel loneliness or depression again.

Still, you can't help but to feel those feelings. She's your mother, and the fact that she said, 'no one's going to call you a monster nor a freak as long as she's with you' kept ringing inside your mind. But now, she's gone. And there's no one to protect you from those people. Because of that, ever since that day, you kept yourself locked inside your house. You don't go out of your house often. Only during necessary cases. Of course, you managed to survive. There are stocks of food inside your refrigerator and inside the storage room.

But today, fortune sure really is not on your side. Because today is the day that you don't have any food left, which means you have to go out and buy some. It's been a month since you last stepped outside your house. You've quite forgotten how the touch of the sun feels.

But then, you don't have a choice. You sighed loud enough to echo around your room.

"Things I do for food..." You said dryly. You then changed your clothes and headed to the front door. You reached the doorknob and took a deep breath.

"...For Food!" You said trying to make yourself confident. And shortly, you opened the door. Beams of sunlight touched your skin and you can't help but to flinch a little.

"Gosh, that hurt! ...Oh right... It's summer. Again..." You said as you pulled your face into a poker face.

You continued your way outside your house. The garden on your lawn is now a filth. All the flowers are dead and there are so many trash among it. You felt disgusted, of course. And you realized that your house must have been the same too. So you turned around only to meet with a terrible view. There are so many cobwebs and moth gathered around the walls of your house. The windows are full of dusts and the roof is like the most disgusting thing ever. Your face grew into a disgusted expression. And you know that no one else could clean it other than you.

You continued your way to the market. The cleaning materials are already in your list. Beads of sweat started to form on your delicate face. It's not just because it's hot, it's because of nervousness. You are now among a crowd. Your heart is beating faster because you're not used to this population. You kept your head hang low knowing that some boys are staring at you. Yes, it is because of the fact that your skin is soft as silk, that can steal people's attention immediately.

The beads of sweat started to fall one by one. All you wished for is that you could go home. Not long after, you arrived at the mall. You can see a few people but that didn't bother you. You immediately searched for food. Fortunately, you arrived at the isle where there's so many varieties of food. Your eyes sparkled at the sight. You hurriedly grabbed the food that will suffice for a week. After that, you headed to the cleaning utensils. You grabbed a lot of the cleaning utensils you're only familiar with, just to make sure you're not going back to this horrid place ever again.

"Ah! I almost forgot! I need to buy some seeds!" You exclaimed.

Ah, that's right. You also need some seeds to replace the dead plants on your lawn. So you grabbed as many seeds as you can knowing that your yard is big. You quickly stepped in line, payed for it, and carried loads of bags with unspeakable weight. There's no denying that the bags are heavy, but thanks to your strength, or that's what you call it, you managed to lift those bags up. Suddenly, the lights went out.

"Huh? What's happening?" You said to yourself, curiosity taking over. You decided to put your groceries to the side and thought of taking a stroll to know what just occurred, but only to be greeted by four muscular men.

"Oh! What a cute little lady!" The first man said.

"Should we bring her to boss?" The third man asked.

"Of course! I mean, she will be a hostage sooner and we will get ourselves some fun!" The second man said as he looked at you from top to toe. The third man licked his lips.

"Oh, I can't wait! Her body seems to be... feisty." The third man said which makes shiver go down to your spine.

They grabbed your wrist and dragged you to a certain place. You kept struggling but to no avail, they're way powerful that you. They dragged you to what seems to be the middle of the mall. They tied both of your hands on your back and threw you among the other hostages.

You are now in the middle of two boys. You kept your head hang low knowing you don't have any hope left.

"...And it's all over. I just went out to buy some stuff and this is what I get? I'm such a screw up. Well, it's better this way. It's better that I die before my powers turn out of control again. I don't want people saying that I'm a monster. Again..," You thought inside your mind, desperation and depression taking over.

"Pssh! Don't think that! What makes you think that this is over?" Your eyes shot open about what the boy to your left said.

"...Did he just...read my thoughts...?" You thought once again.

"Yep! I just did!" The boy on your left said. You turned to look at him while your eyes are wide. Yeah, he is cute. He has a grin plastered on his face.

"...H-how d-did you..." You trailed off still amazed by what just happened.

"I'll explain later. Right now, we have to get out of here!" He said with a reassuring smile. He then turned to the boy to my right.

"So what's the plan, Kano?" He asked.

"Just wait~ Shintaro-kun here has a plan~" The boy to your right said.

"Huh? Why me? ...Oh, right." The boy next to the boy on your right that wears a red and white striped jacket said. He then started to talk to his phone. Which looked weird in your part.

{Reader's PoV:}

After a while, I was shocked about what was happening. I didn't have the chance to catch what was happening. It all happened so fast. All I know is that the lights are back on and the windows are now uncovered.

"...What just happened...?" I asked myself. Not expecting a boy to answer.

"We just saved the day! Let's go now~" The boy who's wearing a black jacket with white circles attached on the hood said. His smile is genuine and his voice is somehow... Comforting.

He offered his hand and I immediately took it. He dragged me towards the exit while my hand is still on his. I can't help but blush about this. And it's the first time that I blushed. As these thoughts kept running through my head, I remembered something I forgot.

"My groceries!" I exclaimed making the boy confused.

"What?" He asked. I shook my head and released my hand from his. I ran back to where I came from and spotted my groceries. I quickly grabbed them and ran to the exit. But when I got out, the boy that dragged me was nowhere to be seen, even the cute boy and the weird boy. I just sighed.

"Well, I'm used to it. Bunch of people always leave me behind..." I said and continued my way towards my house. I can't help but to think about what happened today. It's just so... Unexpected.

But as you are walking on the narrow path, you don't know that someone or rather a group is watching you.
