Janus smiled and wrapped his legs around Roman's waist. He admired his boyfriend and ran a hand through his hair. If Roman had been sat down, Janus would have gladly sat in his boyfriend's lap, but given the fact that he was still standing up, Janus opted to just cling onto him the way a sloth would.

He leaned back and sighed softly, looking up at the sky. The stars weren't out, but the sky was still a beautiful deep blue. If it was anyone else, Janus wouldn't have trusted them to hold him up above the water, but given Roman was his boyfriend, he was sure he wouldn't do anything to betray that trust.

Roman leaned forward and pressed a light kiss to Janus' neck. He smiled when Janus looked at him again and kissed him softly. Roman removed one hand from Janus' back and rested it on his cheek instead.

"I love you so much, Kaa," Roman whispered softly, as though any amount of noise would ruin everything between them.

Janus smiled and kissed him softly. He rested a hand on the back of Roman's neck and made sure he knew how loved he was. He pulled away and let Roman press light kisses over his face, letting out soft laughter occasionally.

"I love you too, Romeo." Janus finally murmured and smiled softly at his boyfriend. "Thank you for convincing me to come out here with you. It's wonderful."

"It is. Especially when you're all I see. You're just as wonderful as everything else." Roman kissed him and smiled fondly.

Janus moved off him and stood next to him, taking the time to truly admire everything about his boyfriend. From the way his hair fell all over the place when it was wet, to the way his shoulders rose when a particularly cool breeze floated by. There wasn't anything about Roman that Janus could hate, and he would do his best to assure Roman of that fact.

Roman smiled and took his hand softly, pulling Janus under the water with him. Janus looked at him, despite the chlorine stinging his eyes slightly, and moved closer to him.

Roman cupped his cheek and pressed a brief kiss to Janus' lips, before letting them both surface again.

Janus flushed softly at the change in temperature. "We should probably go inside, it's getting cold."

Roman smiled and kissed him once more. "Okay, my love."

Janus climbed out of the pool and wrapped his towel around him, attempting to keep him somewhat warmer. He took Roman's hand and led him back into the motel room they'd paid for.

He started the shower, letting it heat up, before they both climbed in and used up as much as the hot water as possible, before going to bed and falling asleep cuddled against one another.
