Roman smiled to himself and propped his phone up, making sure the camera wasn't obstructed, but also making sure it couldn't be seen. He hummed and tugged on De's hand, pulling him closer to him. He looked at De and smiled softly, watching him fondly.

"What are you doing?" De murmured and watched him.

Roman shrugged, their mutual friends knew that Roman liked De, and there was talk going around that De liked him too. So, Roman decided to be the cringe person he was, and follow the TikTok trend of kissing his best friend.

He wasn't really sure why he chose to do it, but he wasn't sure how else to really tell De how he felt.

De tilted his head and looked at Roman confused. He wasn't sure as to what Roman was doing, but he was genuinely happy to be close to him.

Roman smiled and kissed him softly, holding onto De's shirt tightly. He gasped softly as De kissed him back.

He pulled away and grinned. He laughed softly as De kissed him again and again. He couldn't figure out whether he wanted to talk to him about it, or just keep kissing him.

"Thank goodness. You guys were too gay to keep pining after one another," Virgil spoke up.

Roman laughed and held onto De, taking his hand softly. "I'm just glad it worked..."

"Worked?" De looked at him.

Roman pointed to the small arrangement of bags and hoodies, where his phone was hiding. "TikTok trend..."

De laughed and kissed Roman softly. "Of course it was."

Roman smiled and kissed De's cheek, spending the rest of their lunch break cuddling and talking about when their first date would be.
