nexngrxvestxne I know it's not protective Logan and Analogical, but hopefully, this'll do until I can actually make myself write Analogical lmao.
Fandomz_Fangirl Fluffy Roceit! I did it.

T.W. Like two swear words and literal fluff.

Roman had been mid-fight when he got the call. It wasn't that he didn't want to keep fighting, but he'd had to end the fight early, due to his husband needing him. They'd not been married long, but their married life, thus far, had exceeded any and all expectations they held.

Whilst what Karen had claimed was true, that Deceit wasn't exactly the best cook out there, it didn't mean that Roman was going to sit by and just let Deceit be made a fool of. His husband's pride meant everything to him, and Deceit deserved to show up that middle-aged, pain in the neck, hippie.

Roman wasn't the best cook either, that award would definitely be split between Logan and Virgil, for they always seemed to make the perfect foods. While Patton's award would be the best decorations on sweet treats. His designs were so intricate and beautiful, one would think it was a store-bought dessert. Even then, Patton could bake much better than Roman or Deceit, since he never seemed to burn anything.

The few times Roman and Deceit had baked, usually together, they'd ended up with a charcoal mess and they'd given up after one or two attempts. They'd usually end up distracted whilst the food was in the oven and they didn't have the best timing skills. So, they usually stayed away from that are of things.

Roman met his husband in the kitchen and pulled him in for a soft kiss, before setting about getting the recipe books out and setting up the kitchen for their cookies. He glanced at Deceit, smiling softly as Deceit moved to hug him from behind.

"I owe you one, Romeo."

Roman laughed softly and shook his head, not wanting Deceit to owe him for anything. "No, you don't, Kasper. I'm doing it because that no good bitch needs taking down a peg or two, she can't say something like that to you and expect to get away with it."

Deceit cooed at his husband's overprotectiveness, loving how defensive he got when someone even remotely insulted Deceit. "I love you, Romeo, but you don't need to do this. She'll get her karma eventually."

Roman shrugged and turned in Deceit's hold, kissing him softly. It wasn't that he had to do anything, but he wanted to. He needed everyone to know that he wouldn't take any shit, especially when it was directed at his husband. Sure, his husband was soft and let people walk all over him sometimes, but Roman wasn't going to let Karen insinuate he couldn't cook. It didn't matter how right she was, she wasn't right at all. They were going to make the perfect batch of cookies, no matter how long it took them. Roman would be up all night just to make sure his husband had something perfect to have for brunch.

Deceit hummed happily and kissed him back, pulling him slightly closer. They stayed in one another's embrace for a while, sharing soft kisses and fond words, before Roman stepped away and started on their first batch of cookies. With the number of eggs they currently had in, they had room for four failed batches and one good batch.

Roman got to work on kneading the dough, trying to get it to be a perfect consistency, needing it to turn out as good as possible. A perfect batch would be even better.

Soon enough, the first batch went into the oven, and with Deceit's help, he got started on the second batch.

They soon got distracted, smiling widely, kissing softly, and sharing fond words, unable to keep track of how long the cookies had been in the oven.

After three failed attempts, they finally got a perfect batch and, with Patton's help, they decorated them.

Roman turned to Deceit and showed him one specific cookie that said 'suck it Karen' in red icing, telling Deceit to put it on top and give it to her right away. "That way she can eat it and be insulted at the same time," Roman grinned innocently.

Deceit pulled him in for a soft kiss, smiling at how amazing his husband was. "I love you more than anything, Romeo. Thank you."

"I love you more, Kas."

Deceit smiled softly and hugged him loosely, waiting for the icing to dry, before they could be put in an airtight container.

The two then retired to bed, and after changing into their pyjamas, cuddled together until they fell asleep, neither able to fight the grins on their faces.

It was safe to say, Deceit had to take a picture of Karen's face the following day when she saw and tasted the cookies. She never underestimated Deceit again, and she definitely got knocked down a peg or two.
