[10] ʟᴏᴄᴇɪᴛ

Not sure why I can't tag you, but here you go. It's not quite what you asked for, but yeah... enjoy. Sorry it sucks.

Deceit sighed and trailed his fingertips down the side of his face covered in scales. He hated it. He was forced to be someone he hated, someone who everyone thought of as evil. He wasn't. At least he didn't think so, but certain people had their own... Opinions.

Roman was one of them. He felt the need to protect his boyfriend, who Deceit had impersonated, just so he could feel loved by more than one person, even if that love was short lived. Roman never seemed to care what he had to say, or how badly it upset Deceit, he spoke what was on his mind. Although, he was getting better about it. Logan had spoken to him once or twice, just so Roman knew where he stood on the whole thing.

Virgil and Patton were more in the middle with it all. If Deceit was nice, they were nice. The opposite was the same. But there were times where Virgil could be moody and rude for no reason. Patton was usually really kind to Deceit, but there were times where his Dad Mode kicked in, only if Deceit was accused of upsetting someone (even if it wasn't true).

Like the one incident where Roman had made a snide comment about Virgil, then accused Deceit of saying it, so his boyfriend didn't pounce on him. By the end of it all, Roman had not only Patton upset with him, but Logan too, which meant he was practically shut out for the entire day. (And Deceit got a lot of cuddles from Logan).

He sighed and looked to the empty bed. Logan had gotten up a while ago, leaving Deceit alone in their shared bed. He didn't mind, he liked having those few minutes alone, but there were times where he adored having the few hours of cuddles, and not leaving the bed until noon, or later.

He had to make the bed before he left the room, otherwise, Logan would tell him that he had to be more tidy about everything, not that the lectures did much of anything. He also had to make sure everything stayed tidy because Logan was a neat freak and if anything was out of place, his OCD would put him on a rampage, and he'd be tidying up everywhere. And by everywhere, it means everywhere. Under the sofa, behind the toilet, behind the fridge. Literally, anywhere that could accumulate dust or dirt.

He loved his boyfriend, but he could go a little overboard sometimes, not that Deceit was one to talk, he sometimes had his moments too. But Logan's moments just added to him, and Deceit didn't know if he could love anyone more than he loved Logan.

He glanced up from his reflection when a slight movement caught his eye, but whoever was there had moved so he couldn't see them. He knew they were still in the room, though, because he could hear their footsteps.

He jumped as a pair of arms circled his waist. Despite knowing someone was there, he hadn't expected that someone to come and hug him from behind. He leaned into his boyfriend's hold and smiled weakly, feeling Logan rest his head on his shoulder.

"Are you alright? You have been up here a while." Logan pressed a kiss to his cheek, watching in the mirror as his human cheek turned slightly red from the small amount of affection. Normally, when they were around the other sides, Logan wasn't an affectionate person, with the exception of movie nights or one of the two of them being sick, but whenever they were alone, Logan was more often affectionate. Deceit didn't mind his boyfriend being that way. It made their moments alone that bit more special.

"I'm not having a moment of self-loathing, or anything like that. You have to worry." He looked at his boyfriend's face in the mirror, watching as his small smile turned to a slight frown. He knew how Deceit got, and it bothered him, but Deceit didn't want him to feel bad.

Ever since they'd started dating, Logan had found out about how much Deceit hated his snake half, and Logan did whatever he could to try and make his boyfriend feel better, but it always ended up in tears and cuddles. Logan thought he was doing something wrong, but somehow, it always seemed to help Deceit feel better.

"Why?" Logan's voice came out as a whisper, making Deceit focus on him completely.

"Why what?"

"Why should I not have to worry?"

"Because it's normal by now, you know?"

"But that doesn't mean I shouldn't worry."

"Lo..." Deceit sighed and turned around in his boyfriend's hold, offering him a small smile. "I know you will worry about me, but really, you don't need to. If I needed the help, I'd ask."

"I know, but I just want you to be okay, and to trust me."

"And I do. I trust you more than anyone else! You've proven to me, time and time again, that I can trust you, and that there is no reason that I shouldn't. Logan, I love you so much, and sure, I don't like myself sometimes, but I love you, and I won't ever do anything to intentionally upset you because I was careless and stupid."

Logan rest their foreheads together and smiled weakly.

"Please, may I kiss you?"

"Yes."

Logan smiled and connected their lips, shivering slightly as Deceit's hands trailed their way around his waist.

A knock at the door startled them apart and Logan turned to see Patton in the doorway, Roman hanging off his arm.

"Sorry to interrupt, but we're going to watch movies and eat some junk food, do you want to join?"

"Junk food is not a suitable breakfast." Logan started, sighing softly when Deceit shot him a glare. "But sure, let's go."

Patton and Roman walked away cheering, and Deceit smiled, pressing a kiss to his boyfriend's temple. "I love you."

"I love you too."

They walked to the commons and cuddled under a blanket, ready to spend the day cuddling and not having a care in the world.
