New character!

I walked out the tent with a complete remorse.

That night, when I accused Maria of killing our only family - it was just my emotions! I was an orphan, so every bit of family that I had was everything to me- and when Charlie accused Maria, I didn't think twice...

Only after we left her to starve in the forest did  I realise what I have done!When I ran back to find Maria again- she was no where to be found.Charlie later confessed that he in fact was the one who called the Arani, obviously,I killed him with no mercy!

2 years after that incident, The raven gang rose above all.I was curious but the moment I saw Maria as Raven, even that red dyed hair couldn't stop me from spotting her beautiful face which was now emotionless stone.

I started my own gang, to meet her as a leader, rather than an old acquaintance, to see if she was actually happy.I knew she only wanted to help people-she had a kind heart-she wouldn't kill until necessary.

But what I saw 2 years later was not Maria but stone cold Raven- she kills, she robs and she rules.She wasn't Maria...

And I was afraid I was the reason she turned that way,I couldn't forgive myself...I lost my Maria.

"Excuse me ?" a tiny voice greeted me, breaking me from the reverie of thought.I turned back to meet soft blue doe eyes- a contrast to my sharp blue eyes.

I stared back at her with a questioning look and she squirmed under my gaze, opening her mouth every little moment- as if trying to phrase her sentence right.

"Speak, before I get tired of you and throw you out!" I commanded her, this wasn't true- she was Maria's sister, I wouldn't throw her out.

"Mr.Reaper, I just want to know your re-relationship with my- my sister Raven?" she questions uncertainly.

I sigh, I expected her to ask this.

"Nothing special, just old friends turned into cold strangers- all of my fault actually..." I said softly, bitterness lacing my voice.

She leaned in, expecting me to say more and when I didn't budge, she nodded her head in understanding before slowly walking away.

I eyed her retrieving figure, she doesn't look like a fighter- why would Raven have her on the team... unless she cared for her- unless Maria cared for her...

This made a smile grow on my face-at least she wasn't completely gone!

 I turned around, about to head towards my tent when I was abruptly greeted with stormy grey eyes that made me slightly uncomfortable- but only for a second. 

"Can I help you?" I said, in slight mockery.

"Yes, I want to know the entire truth about your relationship with Maria!" he orders coldly.

"What are you- her boyfriend?" I said jokingly- although if he conformed he was- i would have the unreasonable to desire to smack him.

"What! No, I am like a brother to her!" he yelled quickly.

"So you have someone else in mind?" I said, trying to distract him from our current topic.He blushes at my statement but looks back at me in the eyes- he really wanted answers.

I gulp before starting my story-there was no escaping this...

"I have know Maria for a long time, when we were 13 years olds- we first met in Kaiminni's hideout- she trained with us to be the future leaders with 20 other kids and we became close friends.When we were 15, out facility was attacked by Arani- me, Charlie and Maria were the only survivors.We blamed Maria for the accident and left her in the forest to die.Later, I found out Charlie was actually the informer but when I went back to find her- she was no where to be seen.She became Raven and I never saw the sweet, cute and energetic Maria again.I blame myself- I accused the girl that I loved out of pure rage and didn't even let her explain...I loved her, but I was still blind and I turned her into a monster!" I finish in disappointment.

The boy took in a sharp breath and looks at me with a cold withering gaze-but this time there was a little pity in them...

"I am James by the way, Maria isn't gone and I wouldn't call her a monster already, don't give up on her so fast..." he said before marching off.

Leaving me alone with my chaotic thought...

What just happened?
