- Examinations are determinants

Examinations as far as students are concerned, determines objectively their competency and mastery of it. It is the very essential form of assessing where the student is inclined and where a student is not.

(Exams do not always evaluate 100% the students capacity. Bcs in many cases, when students want good grades, they will cheat in exams to have higher scores. So in those cases, tests are useless to truly assess a student ability)

- They are a good tool for evaluation.

With an examination, the student has to understand the material as well as be able to regurgitate it on a test. It is a fair way to see who knows the material, and who needs to look it up.

(As I have said before, there are cases when students cheat to have the higher score. Those students will think they don't have to study when they can photocopy the answers and look it up while doing exams, they will not care abt studying and will depend only on those answer printed paper only)

- Brings knowledge to students

The examination is used to determine student's ability to draw on a wide range of knowledge. It is to make sure that students can fully apply their knowledge in their daily life but not misuse their knowledge. The knowledge on science, geography and mathematics will be helpful for them to do better in everything in their life.

(Trying to remember all of what has been learned mechanically will make students stress and tired. Gradually leads to boring school, do not want to go to school, drop out of school)

- Assessment helps learners to improve their performance

Moreover, learners are given timely feedback about the quality of their works and try to improve it without repeating any mistakes. Learners are also given some useful advice and recommendations by teachers about how to make things better.

(Students depend on the teacher, not confident in their own knowledge.gradually, this will lead to students not  wanting to think on their own anymore )"
