The drive back was uncomfortably quiet, no one had any words to console her... Not even me.

She just stared out the window and I couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking about. I mean she just watched her mother die, I was expecting her to stab my leg or break a few of my ribs for stopping her but she didnt.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked in a low voice and I instantly regretted it cause the look she gave me made me want the ground to eat me alive.

"Too soon? Okay" I said and minded my own business. Her hand was on her lap so I reached over and placed mine on hers, she instantly jerked away from my touch like I was on fire.

I sighed and placed my hand back on the gear shift.

We got home and she went straight to her room "How's she doing?" Masha asked "I have no idea... She's gone all ice queen on me" I sighed and stared at the floor.

"If there's anything we can do to help..." Grayson said and placed his hand on my shoulder "Thanks" I said and slumped on the couch.

Trevor sat beside me with his head in his hand "That son of a bitch" he said "Why do you think she was talking to the cops?" Beatrice asked then we heard a knock on the door.

We each grabbed our guns and Tyler slowly walked towards the door "Who is it?" Tyler asked but there was no answer.

The person knocked again

"Who is it?!" Non of us wanted to use the peep hole, it was too close to the door and seeing as Melisa was just killed noone knows who could be next.

"Reznov" we sighed but were still on edge when Tyler opened the door.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him "How is she?" He actually sounded worried and his eyes were swollen a little bit and if I didn't know any better I'd say he was in a fight.

"Not so good, thanks for asking" Grayson answered snidely "I didnt want this to happen, okay?!" His face started turning red "So, why did it?" Grayson took a few steps towards Rez.

"She was talking to the cops, Vlad found out and..." He stopped and sighed "Maybe you should go, Reznov..." Chloe said placed her hand on Grayson's chest.

He looked at me and I nodded towards the door "I'm not leaving until I see her" he said coldly "Look, I dont think she wants to see you, so it'd be best if you left" I said and tried to pat his shoulder but he swatted my hand off.

"Why do you care? She's your bosses daughter" Masha said through her teeth.

"Exactly, go back to your boss!" Beatrice said.

"Rez, please just go, she just watched her mom die" Trevor said. Everything they all just said seemed to be getting to Reznov and I mean badly and I think I'm going to regret what I'm about to tell them "Its cause she's not Vlad's daughter" I said and everyone snapped their heads to me "What?!"

"She's mine" Rez barely whispered. They looked at him like his head fell off "H-how, are you sure?" Beatrice asked.

He walked over to the dinning table and took a sit "I loved Melisa even before Vlad knew she existed but she married him. One night when Vlad had one of his episodes, she called me in tears, so, I went over..."

"And you guys did it" Masha stated sarcastically "Yeah. When she got pregnant, she knew it wasn't Vlad's" I hate when men cry but I don't mind that he was doing it right now.

"Why didnt you tell her?" Tyler asked and Reznov sent him a questioning look "I mean Kim"

"What the fuck was I supposed to say? Hey, um... You think Vlad's your dad but he's not its me, his side kick... I fell in love with your mum and then we did it and gave birth to you?" He scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"It's about time you confessed" Reznov jumped to his feet when he saw Kim descending down the stairs "I didnt hear you coming down" he said and cleared his throat.

"I know, I didnt want to interrupt you" she said "You knew?" He asked and moved closer to her "I saw the way you guys looked at each other and the way she talked about you, let's just say I had an idea"

"H-How are you doing?" He asked again "I'm okay, we got a job to do remember?"

"Nuh uh, honey. You're sitting this one out" Chloe ordered "Yeah, you should sit this one out and Damien should stay with you" Trevor said.

"Fine" She grumbled and rolled her eyes. I'm starting to think she hates me for stopping her "You sure you'd be okay without me?" I asked and they nodded.

I followed behind Kim as she walked up the stairs "You dont have to follow me" She didnt turn around or even stop.

"I'm sorry" she was about to open the door to her room then I grabbed her arm "Kim, I'm sorry" I said again "For what?" She folded her arm and leaned on one of her legs.

"For stopping you from killing your dad... I mean Vlad but in my defense I had no idea what he would've done to you" He killed her mother because she spoke to the cops imagine what he would do to her.

She sighed and walked into her room but left the door open. I walked in slowly and closed the door behind me and sat on the bed beside her.

I watched as she played with her finger nails and tears started rolling down her face. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into a hug, we sat there wrapped in each others arms for a while before she lifted her head up and kissed me.

"Dont ever leave" She whispered "I won't" I kissed back and about an hour later, she fell asleep. I placed her on the bed slowly and covered her with the duvet.

I walked back down the stairs "She's asleep" I said "Good. Its almost time for the job. The moment we get back we commence our plan to take him down" Trevor said.

"Okay... And you guys be careful" I said "Dont worry bro, just take care of your girl" Tyler said and punched my shoulder "Yeah, thanks" I tried to rub the pain off.
