In a small town so small everyone had the population memorized (30) 15 year old Jennifer was celebrating her sweet 16. It was the party of the year and she was even more popular than she already was. Once the party was over Jennifer went to bed and her parents went out because they realized that they had forgotten to get their daughter her present. While they were out trying to pick out her present the oven was left on from them making her cake. On their way home a neighbor called them to tell them that their house was on fire. When they heard this they raced home but they were to late the firefighters were pulling the charred body of their daughter out of the house so peaceful and still sleeping. The parents mourned for weeks on end until one night they had a dream saying that their daughter was waking up in the world she was in. Then all of a sudden they were transported to a world full of ghosts and dead people right above the earth. In this world there are many old destroyed buildings and they heard a the sound of a newly dead person crying in a brokendown mansion that looked exactly like theirs: Bright yellow shutters, a sky blue door, a roof as white a the clouds, and the darkest wood you could find for the whole body of the house. When they arrived at the house they found their daughter Jennifer crying on the floor. They called her name and she looked up with a sigh and a look of relief on her face. Mommy Daddy she cried where have you been? They then realized she didn't know she was dead.
Mom's P.O.V.
It's my baby girl's sweet sixteen I can't believe it she's growing up so fast already sixteen. I decided to make her her favorite cake chocolate fudge with cherries on the top with strawberry icing. The party is in 5 hours and the cake still isn't even close two being done. " John text Jennifer and call her down for lunch please." I told my loving husband. He called back " Okay honey whatever you say." Then when the party started we were sitting around waiting for all of the guests to get here. We were going to have the biggest barbecue party ever. There was gonna be everything from hamburgers to fried chicken and everything in between and any other foods you could ever think of. Finally, everyone arrived for the party.
