HARRIET NOVAK WAS convinced she was paying the price for a crime committed in a past life. Yet from a young age, she loved pushing the boundaries of her safety. Growing up, getting into fights and finding herself in danger became second nature.

It was inevitable that she would don the wings of freedom upon graduating as a cadet from the 93rd Training Corps. Her eagerness to risk her life outside the walls made her swift rise through the ranks equally inevitable.

Perhaps she teetered on the brink of death to atone for the sins she would inevitably commit.

HEIDI NOVAK WAS on a mission to keep her friends' hopes alive. After witnessing so much death and destruction, she could not bear the thought of watching her friends lose themselves. And she certainly couldn't bear to watch her sister throw her future away for someone like herself.

When her friends joined the Scout Regiment, there was no doubt in her mind that she would follow them there too. With everything on the line and the list of things to lose growing shorter by the day, she wondered how much more the Scout Regiment could take from her.

And slowly, she wondered what her true limit might be.

hey yall!

welcome to my first ever anime fic!

aot was the first anime show i ever watched ! I finished all of season one but at that point, season two wasn't streaming anywhere just yet and I fell out of the fandom. But then I got sucked in for 4 days and binged the entire show (and sobbed.)

and now I'm giving Levi an even better ending!! (show ending is def better than the manga but we won't talk about that)

a side note: i will not be making a cast for this fic simply because i don't now have the energy to find faceclaims for all the characters, and i don't have the energy to draw Harriet and Heidi, so they will be heavily described and yall will have to use your imagination!

please be patient with me, idk how long this brainrot will last before i fall back onto one of my other fics, lol.
