Fear and Wild stood together as War had dissapeared to do what the gate had asked. Fear was honestly thinking of just blowing War off and not killing all the demons around them like he requested, but then again he had no idea how long it would take their party to get to this big bad Destroyer guy.
It might be best if he tried to stay as close as he could to War's good side. He watched Wild run off aswell, hunting down any demon he could find. Fear sighed and walked through the choking grounds.
He crossed his arms, his trench coat swaying around him from a breeze that decided to show up. The sixth horseman would glance around but he was blind and deaf to the world at the moment.
He shouldn't have let War convince him to follow him to Earth. He still didn't know why War had been picked up by the council and he had been spared. What did those rock heads have in mind?
He leaned against a large block of stone and he was shaken out of his thoughts when it moved under his weight. He shuffled away from it and eyed it.
"What..?" Fear fell short of words as he saw that there was a passage under the block. It started to open on its own. He smiled deviously. How had he not found a secret spot like this yet?
Fear took the steps down into the passage and was met with a large circular room. He raised a brow. There wasn't any treasure or anyone inside. No skeletons either.
He turned when the door become blocked by a magical barrier. Fear groaned in annoyance.
"Great, boss battle probably." He rolled his eyes and pull out his sword from his palm.
He eyed the room, waiting for the challenger to show up. He was surprised when a zombie popped up. Well it wasn't just that he was a zombie, he had a top hat, bowtie, pants and a cane to match. Fear bursted out laughing as the creature smirked at him.
"Glad to see this is starting well!" He chuckled comically. Fear held his stomach and looked at him, struggling to keep what could resemble a straight face.
"Yeah well buddy, I really wanna get to know you and all, but you have to die." Fear said, his fits calming down. The zombie gave him a wink.
"Then let us duel." He bowed to the horseman. Fear charged him and they started throwing around their weapons. Cane vs sword. Fear mused that thought.
He did end up beating him, knocking him onto his back and knocking the cane away. Fear's eyes glowed in the subtle darkness as he eyed the zombie.
He thrust his sword forward, it would have stabbed him in the throat but the reanimated body teleported to his cane and tipped his hat to Fear.
"Until next time, horseman." He said and dissapeared, and the blockade of magic on the door dissipitated.
Fear sighed.
"Alright, note to self: dont mention this to War." Fear said to himself. He took a few more looks around the room and didn't find anything.
He shrugged it off and went back up the stairs and it sealed itself. Fear lifted his head up when he heard Wild calling for him.
"War's done!" The child of Fury called. Fear started to walk towards them and Wild teleported next to him.
"You owe me for doing your share of demon killing." He whispered. Fear swatted at him.
"I'm a horseman. You should see it as an honor to do my work." Fear mocked. Wild snorted and teleported away. Fear looked forward again and saw the giant rising out of War's path.
