After I wrote this I realized I had the temples backwards lol so just pretend you go to fire of the mountain temple first xD

They had gotten through most of the temple and reached a room with a missing chunk of the wall and ceiling. Luar looked out and saw the large volcano erupting as though it were never going to stop.

"I don't suppose you could assisst me with these levers?" Deaths voice rang out and interrupted her thoughts. She turned to him and saw him leaning on a push lever.

"I'll go to the next one. When I see yours open, I'll take that as a sign." Luar said. Death nodded in agreement and started turning the hammer like device as Luar jumped down to the next one. They continued to switch until they reached the end.

The lava flowed out and down to the forge. Luar's wings appeared as Death landed beside her.

"I can get us outside." Luar said. Death raised an eyebrow.

"How are you going to carry me?" Death asked. Luar smirked and took his arm, pulling him with her and leaping off the edge. They fell down, inches from the stone fathers blood.

Right before they dived into the magma, Luar opened her wings and flapped wildly, carrying them into the air. She held Death by his arm and he hung down. He watched the world beneath them and saw Carn waving up at them. Luar waved back when she had a steady glide.

Luar turned to the tri-stone and brought them over the walls. She lowered down and dropped Death. He rolled and looked up for her.

He took her hand as she landed.

"Thank you." Death said. Luar smiled shyly.

"You're back! Who's she?" Alya asked as she walked down the steps to the couple.

"Luar, my... wife." Death said, deciding to use a formal title for her. Alya raised an eyebrow with a smirk.

"Fancy meeting you Mrs. Death." Alya said, shaking Luar's hand which Luar accepted with a kind smile. Death narrowed his eyes at her humor. Alya just smirked.

"Come by the forge soon, got somethin to show ya." Alya said and walked back to her little shop.

Luar chuckled as Death huffed in annoyance.

"She was just playing fun Death." Death sighed and looked back to her. He was very happy to see her alive again but he still had a nagging at the back of his mind.

"Luar, where is Whisper?" Death demanded softly. Luar stiffened  her movements while walking up the steps. She stopped and gripped the side, Death noted the cracks in the stone where she was gripping.

"Luar, what happened? There is something you are not telling me!" Death yelled. Luar faced him, she looked extremely panicked and sad. It stabbed his soul to see her like that.

" Death... I can't tell you... not now." Luar said, her hair covering her eyes. Death felt anger burn like a small flame in his chest but he ignored it, he wouldn't force her to say anything but he was going to know.

"Promise me you will." Death said. Luar gave him an annoyed look, he knew she never broke promises.

"Why? You don't trust me to tell youon my own?" Luar demanded, her voice holding more anger then she expected.

"I do trust you, but I want to know what happened to our daughter." Death said. He regretted saying that the moment it passed through his lips.

"I want to know what happened to her too Death! Tell me what happened after I passed! There, there is the deal! I will not tell you anything until you tell me where she was, I could not reach her for many years Death, I know she was never with you!" Luar yelled, her voice cracking with emotion. Death slowly walked up the steps to her, ignoring looks some makers were giving the Horseman and his wife.

"Please Luar, calm down. I didn't know either, Whisper told me things but not everything." Death said, his voice becoming heavy as he struggled to keep his voice from cracking. Luar leaned against the stone stair railing and fell to her knees and sobbed. She cried and shook, her eyes watering with so distress and pain. Death pulled her into his chest and held her to him and tried to comfort her. Luar sobbed on him for what felt like eternity and it quenched his heart to see her like this.

She eventually stopped and held onto Death.

"It is hard to watch an angel die... especially our angel..." Luar whispered.
