Luar looked away from him for a moment.

"I cannot tell you." Luar said, returning her beautIful blue gaze to look at him. Death reached out and helped her up. He stared at her for a long moment.

He did miss her and had felt such heavy guilt on his heart when she had died. Death reached out and put a hand to her cheek.

Luar looked at him, her blue eyes enjoying the company of his fiery orange ones. He missed being able to kiss her, to hold her, to be with her.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. Death held her close to him. If he didn't have the curse of wearing his mask, he would have kissed her first.

"How long has it been?" Death mumbled, pulling away, taking hold of her necklace to look at the charms.

"To long, Death." Luar said gently, placing a hand over his, the charms between both their palms. Death sighed and removed his hand.

"Indeed. Times have changed. I'm going to guess you can still fight?" Death asked, glancing at her from over his shoulder as he approached the lever that unlocked the door he needed to go through.

Luar scoffed at him.

"I was heavens champion under Abbadon." Luar said, stretching a hand out. Her hand glowed a blue-aqua color and a double sided spear morphed together, a small chain hanging off of it.

"Well don't let me down." Death teased as he used his reaper arms to open the door. Luar flinched when she saw them. Death glanced at her, then realized why she did.

"I got these powers when I became a Horseman. You have nothing to fear." Death reassured. Luar nodded but stayed silent. She pulled her hood up and nodded for him to continue.

Death looked forward again and walked through the door way, making sure Luar was following him.

Even if his main concern was to free the fire there was no way in heaven or hell he was going to risk losing her again.

"The Cauldron." Luar whispered to him. Death nodded and spotted a shadow bomb over to his right. He walked over to investigate and saw the corruption spikes. Maybe he could blow it up.

"Let me." Luar said, taking the bomb from him. She grew massive white wings and dashed over to the corruption, tossing it down, then backing up to avoid any rubble. It exploded, making the corduption disentigrate.

"That's one down. Now the rest to go..." Death muttered. Luar flew back to him.

"Why do you have.. natural wings?" Death asked. Luar paused for a moment.

"When Abbadon died, his general is to take on his wings. I had expected Uriel to, but I ended up with them even though I was in the afterlife."

"You were the true general, even though you chose me over your people." Death said, walking around the giant couldron to the other side of the room.

Two corrupted soldiers morphed together in front of Death and swung, missing the nimble reaper. He ran at them and cut their heads off, hoping that if he cut the cord they would die.

It worked for the time being and Death continued on with a now wingless Luar at his side.
