Chirpstar walked up to the cats who were surrounding Jaystripe, unsheathing their claws in threat as their leader pushed through the crowds.

"Jaystripe, leave at once! You've been voted guilty, there will be no traitors in this Clan..." Chirpstar hissed, although his inner thoughts contradicted his outward confidence. Please don't let this be another innocent, not like Swifthawk...

Jaystripe's gaze turned stormy, growling in frustration before she sighed heavily.

"Fine. I'm sure I'll return anyway when my teammates tear your Clan apart!" she yowled, leaping to her paws as she sprinted through the angry crowds, vanishing into the trees.
