The mastermind is still active, although I notice a lot of people use it for traitor hints rather than anything else. Remember, you can ask the mastermind for any role's trait, which may be helpful even if its an innocent role, as it can help rule people out of suspicion.

shorter description this time, sorry I'm a little busy today so not much time to write this.

A dark brown she-cat was padding gently through the forest, listening for the sounds of prey as she made her way through the long grass. She frowned as she failed to pick up a scent, before spotting the river up ahead.

'Perhaps I can hunt for fish instead...'

Kiwicry walked up to the river, unaware of the seven cats who were following her through the trees, unsheathing their claws as they waited for her to approach the water. The she-cat stood ready by the edge, catching the scent of a fish as she leaned into the current, unsheathing her claws and swiping at a fish. The she-cat purred, pleased with her catch.

A figure appeared behind her. Kiwicry whirled around in fright as another two traitors pushed her forward, the she-cat gasping as she fell into the water, struggling against the current. She tried to swim forward, but the current was too strong. After a few failed attempts, the she-cat's head disappeared under the water, her body lost with the river.

The traitors smiled in satisfaction. With another one gone, soon their work would be complete.

In the morning, Chirpstar found her body at the end of the river after the Clan had searched for the missing she-cat, his eyes filled with sorrow at the sight of another lost clanmate. 

He returned to camp to tell the cats his news, as cries of grief erupted from the crowd around him. Chirpstar silenced them with a flick of his tail, sadness in his tone as he murmured, "Another cat has been killed today. How many more have to die before this crisis ends? Discuss, we must find the next traitor."
