When I woke up I immediately knew this was going to be a great day. I stood up and walked out of the house greeting everyone again. Maybe I can catch Ryan up while walking to school.

Finally I spotted him walking down the street, his head holding down with his headphones in. I could watcg him all day to be honest, but he would notice. He would notice.

I let out a short giggle and walked over to him.

"Hi ryan", i said tapping his shoulder, making him flinch.

"Whoa, calm down, you look like you've seen a ghost", I chuckled.

"Very funny", he mumbled.

"So, what are you planning to do today", I asked him while we walked down the street.

"Going to school, then I'm going home, listen to music, go to sleep", he said, making me roll my eyes.

"C'mon, let's do something!", I said.

"You know that I just know you for one day, why would I do something with you", he said putting his headphones in his ears again.

"Ouch", I said.

"Good morning, Mr. Stanley", I greeted him like everyday.

"Why do you greet him? He can't hear you", Ryan said looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"A habit. I greet everyone, makes me feel a bit alive", I said with a sad smile, "you know it's hard when no one notices you and you're just a small breeze for everyone. It's horrible, then you search for something that makes you feel like a normal human again."

"Don't play the I'm dead and need sympathy card, I'm not going to do something with you today", he said shaking his head.

"Oh c'mon! That was harsh, what do you have to loose?", I sighed.

"Uhm, I don't want everyone to think that I'm weird", he said.

"There's nothing wrong about being weird", I said, "I think it's interesting."

"Oh god, why am I even talking to a ghost", he said walking faster.

"Where are you going?", I asked him from behind.

"To school and away from you", he yelled back.

"Ok, go, but you know that you can't get rid of me that easily", I yelled.

He didn't say anything else, but I smiled to myself.

"Why is he yelling?", Ms. Stump asked her brother Patrick standing behind me. Oh, now I knew why everyone would think he's weird.
