This is my first one-shot ever. And thank you for reading my story with very bad grammer and spelling. But I will try my hardest.

One day at Wammys House,Mello and Near were told the sad news of L's death Mello lost it in the office as Near sat there calm doing his puzzle, A few moments later Mello was packing some stuff quickly after telling Matt to pack as will when he left his room he passed by Nears room and he heard something he's never heard before it sounded like someone was crying Mello was confused did something happen to Near did some kids hurt them Mello was angered by the thought of someone hurting Near so he knock on the door "HEY NEAR WHATS UP!!!!"Mello yelled though the door well trying to open it but the door was locked Near never locks his door "HEY NEAR WAY IS YOUR DOOR LOCKED!!!!!" Mello continue to yell though the door but there was Near still didn't respond witch only worried Mello more "NEAR YOU OPEN THIS DOOR NOW OR I"LL BUSTED IT DOWN YOU HEAR ME, NEAR OPEN IT NOW!!!!"Mello continue to yell even louder "GO AWAY!!" Mello heard Near yell though the door he obviously struggled to yell that loud. Mello knew something was up so he got Matt "Hey Matt I need you to pick Nears door for me I could do it but you can do it a lot quitter them ok"Mello was pretty much demanding Matt to do so.So he did When Mello opened the door very quit then saw something very unexpected.Near was CRYING Mello was very confused why Near was crying "Near?."Mello said in a very calm and concerned voice "Mello..... wha..t are...huh...you..*sniffle*..doing in here?."Near struggled to talk and to breath "Why are you crying Near did someone hurt you?"Mello asked trying not to yell knowing it will only make the situation worst "No I'm not hurt,well not physically anyways."Near said and then stared crying again "What do you mean Near, Your not hurt well physically WHAT DOSE THAT EVEN MEAN!!"Mello told himself that he was not going to yell and he did Near was crying and you not stop "WHY ARE YOU CRYING NEAR ANSWER ME NOW!!!!" Mello was done he had snapped he wanted to know and now "BECAUSE L IS DEAD HIS GONE AND I WANT HIM BACK!!!!AhHhAHH."Near couldn't stop cry it was almost impossible to not fell bad about the boy he was crushed, broken, lost, devastated, Mello couldn't bear it so he walked over to Near and grabbed him holding him in his lap Near was shocked but still continue too cry and could not stop "Near way did you just tell someone you were upset?"Mello said "Who would I tell you."Near was very shaken "Me,you dummy."Mello siad trying not to yell again.

"Mello why would I tell you, you hate me don't you.?"Near said "Yeah I know I say that,I hate you,ok,and I'm not saying that I don't hate you it's just I also care for you and hate you at the same time,So don't get an idles okay."Mello said as he started to blush "Mello...?"Near whisper to Mello "What is it Near,I already said don't get an idles." Mello said in a frustrated tone "Can I ask you to close your eyes?" Near said very shy like "Okay??" Mello closed his eyes then he felt something touch his lips when this happened his eyes jolted open Near had kissed him this was Nears very first kiss but he still knew that it wasn't good if the person you kiss moves away Near was so embarrassed that he almost began to cry but than Mello kissed him back witch shocked Near but he didn't pull away Matt came in to check in but all he saw was Mello kissing Near so he just turned away "I'll give them a little bit besides that gives me time to get pass this level"Matt said well walking away and slowly closing the door behind to give them some privacy

A Few Hours Later

It was now night Mello and Near laid in bed together

"Near?" Mello whispered to Near "Yeah Mello?,What is it"Near whispered back "I'm leaving tomorrow,So nothing can you know that right." "Yeah I know that."Near said but he didn't sound sad "Mello?"near once again whispered "yeah what is it. "Mello said in a kinda confused tone "This never happened" Near said with a little chuckle "yeah exactly." mello said in a sarcastic tone.

In The Morning

Mello and Matt left Near didn't even leave his room to say bye to Mello and Matt he just sat in the window and watched them leave "I know i will see you again Mello."

After The Kira Case Was Solved

"Well at leased I got to see you one more time,and i'm sorry for you dying as a pound in solving this case, and thank you for helping me oh and tell Matt I'm sorry he died,I miss you two both a say hi to L for me okay. Love you all."
