(A/N): Yo my dudes! I am back form my holiday so I'll be back to updating regularly again! I haven't written a lot of Oneshots where L is raising a child with the reader, so I decided to write this one! Also, the child is a girl in this story but I'll write a different story where the child is a boy. Anyways enjoy!

"Why are we going here again?"

"Because it's for (D/N)!"

L wasn't too happy about going out to a kid's entertainment show, but he knew it would make both you and your daughter (D/N) happy so he decided to come along anyway.

"I really don't like it", L says. "Robbie the Raccoon scares me the most".

"It's for kids L!" You giggle. "It might not look appealing to adults, but at least the kids like it".

"I can't understand why", L sighed.

"I want us all to get a picture taken with Robbie the Raccoon, Megan the Mouse, Ben the Bear and Emilia the Elephant!!" Your daughter jumped up and down in excitement, squeezing both you and L's hand.

"No way", L said.

"Well if the que for the photos isn't as big as last time, we can maybe have a photo with your favourite characters (D/N)", you say to your daughter.

"(Y/N)! I said no!" L looks up at you with an annoyed expression on his face.

"L, sweetie, I said yes", you reply giggling.

L sighed. This was a battle he would not be able to win.

"Fine. We'll see what the que will be like", he said to (D/N).

"Yay!!!" She squealed making you smile.

"But just this once", L pointed out.

-Later-

The three of you had arrived at the entertainment show. You sat up at the back as L felt slightly uncomfortable having everyone staring at him from behind.

"Mummy! Daddy! Can I go and sit at the front of the stage to see better?!" (D/N) said.

"Alright then sweetie", you say.

"Daddy, can you come with me?"

"No".

"Why not?"

"L, honey!"

"Those animals are scary", L said, holding his knees closer to his chest.

"No they aren't daddy! They're friendly! I'll show you! Come on!" (D/N) grabbed L's hand and tried to pull him off his seat.

"(D/N)! No! I'm not coming!" L said, trying to get back on his seat.

"Aww".

(D/N) then started crying.

"L!" You glare at him. "Now you've upset her! You're always telling me to conquer my fears! Like that time you took me on that rollercoaster on the day you proposed to me! You know I'm afraid of heights! I was screaming my head off!"

"That's different!" L said.

"How?"

(D/N) began to fully sob on the floor.

"I-I'm sorry (D/N)! Please don't cry! Daddy's bad isn't he? I'm sorry", L said, trying to calm down his daughter.

(D/N) looked up at her father and wiped her tears away, sniffing.

"I'll come down with you", L sighed, looking away.

"Really?! Yay!" (D/N) grabbed L's hand and ran with him to the front of the stage to see her favourite characters, while you just giggled at your little family and drank your rum and coke you got from the adults bar at the back.

"Daddy! Look! They're all here! And they're going to do a magic show!" (D/N) pointed to the animals onstage.

"Y-Yes sweetheart. That's great", L replied. He was sitting on the floor in his crouched position.
L knew that the animals were just people dressed up in costumes, but he wasn't going to tell his daughter that obviously! That'd upset her.
And even if they were people in costumes, they were still creepy looking to L.

Especially that raccoon...

"Now! We need someone and their mummy or daddy to come up here onstage and help us with our next trick!" The person who was dressed as Robbie the Raccoon said.

"Daddy! Daddy! We can go on the stage!!" (D/N) said, jumping up and down and pulling at L's arm.

"I don't think that's a good idea (D/N)", L said.

"PICK US!! PICK US!!" (D/N) completely ignored him and started waving her arms in the air and jumping as high as she could.

"Ah! You there! Come upstage and help us out here!" The raccoon pointed to (D/N) which made L's heart skip a beat.

"Oh no..." he muttered.

"That's us daddy!" (D/N) shouted. She dragged L up the steps onto the stage.

L had never looked more out of place or felt more uncomfortable in all his life. Why did his daughter like such silly things?

Meanwhile, you were rushing down to the front of the stage with your phone. You had to get this caught on camera! It was cute and funny at the same time.

"Hello there!" The raccoon said to (D/N). "What is your name?"

"My name is (D/N)!" She replied excitedly.

"Nice to meet you (D/N). And how old are you?"

"I'm 5!"

"Awesome! And you seem to have someone here with you!" Robbie the raccoon looked up at L who froze.

'Conquer your fears Lawliet! Conquer your fears!' L kept repeating those words in his head.

"This is my daddy!" (D/N) said.

"Excellent! And what's your name, Mr Daddy?"

"R-Ryuzaki", L said, his mouth barely moving. His eyes were wide and you could tell he just wanted to get out of this place.

You were loving this. You couldn't stop laughing at your silly fiancè.

"And how old are you R-Ryuzaki?" Robbie asked.

"24..." he replied.

"Nice! Well then, R-Ryuzaki I'd like you to come over here please", Robbie the Raccoon led L to a huge box in the middle of the stage. L moved very slowly and the touch of the costumes hands on his shoulders made him extremely uncomfortable.

"Stand in this box for us!" The character known as Emilia the Elephant said to L.

L stood in the huge box, terrified.

"Wh-What's happening?!" L asked (D/N).

"Don't worry daddy! It's only magic!"

"Only magic?!"

Before he could say anything else, L was shut in the box by Megan the Mouse.

"For this magic trick, we'll transform R-Ryuzaki into a different outfit!" Ben the Bear said.

"Wh-What?!" L whisper yelled inside the box.

"Now (D/N)-", Robbie the Raccoon gave (D/N) some funny looking magic wand. "-Do you remember what the magic words are?"

"Yep!" (D/N) nodded. "I've never forgotten!"

"Okay! After three, we'll all shout out the magic words!" Robbie the Raccoon said.

"Hurry up already..." L sighed.

This was incredible! You were getting all of this on camera!

"One...Two...Three!"

"ALLACAZUCAS!!" (D/N) yelled, waving the magic wand around.

"What kind of magic words are they?" L asked himself.

He suddenly felt...different.

What happened?

The box was soon opened and L stepped back out. But he was wearing a completely different outfit! He was dressed in some 80s outfit.

"What the fu-freckles?!" L said, being careful of his language as there were kids around. He took a look at himself.

"Where are my clothes?!"

You and (D/N) burst out laughing.

"Don't worry R-Ryuzaki!" Robbie said.
"We'll get them back for you! Step back in the box!"

L had never moved so quickly. He stepped back into the box and the door was shut.

"Ready (D/N)?"

"ALLACAZUCAS!!"

The door opened again and L stepped back out. This time, he was wearing a suit.

It...actually looked good on him.

'That suit's turning me on..." you thought as you felt your cheeks heat up and you felt your nose start to bleed.

"This is uncomfortable", L said, turning around.

"Alright. Get back in the box R-Ryuzaki!"

This went on for some time. L came out in many different outfits. Some funny, some unbelievably hot that both you and L started to wonder if this was really for kids or not.

"That was so fun!" (D/N) said as the three of you walked out of the entertainment showbar.

"That was hilarious", you laughed.

"I have never felt more humiliated in all my life!" L stated, looking away.

"Can we do something like that again?!" (D/N) asked.

"Sure honey!" You say.

"NO!" L shouted, making you and (D/N) laugh.

"It's a shame we couldn't get a photo again this time", (D/N) sighed.

"Oh don't worry", you say. "I got all of that on camera, so you won't have to worry about forgetting any of that".

You give L a smirk. His eyes widened with shock.

"You're lucky I love you two", he said.

(A/N): I'm quite impressed with this one. I think it's quite cute.
