Your Pov

Everyday is the same.

All alone.

Nothing to do, no one to talk to.

It's been 4 months since I started high school and I haven't spoken to a single person.

This sucks. I wanna go home.

There was still ages until school finishes which didn't make anything better.

I sighed and rested my head on my desk as I drifted off into my own thoughts, not even listening to the teacher.

Soon I was snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of my name in an announcement coming through the speaker.

"This is Mr Thomas from the art department. I would like to ask (F/N) (S/N) from Class 2B and Ryuzaki from Class 2F to come to my office immediately to finish off some work. Thank you."

Everyone looks at me.

"You're free to go (Y/N)" the teacher said to me.

I sigh and got up, leaving the classroom.

As I walk out, I see a tall boy walking past the class who I'm guessing was the other kid that had to come with me.

I followed him whilst examining him from behind.

'Jet black, messy hair, messy casual clothes, slouches. Interesting.'

He seemed pretty cute from behind in my eyes.

I crouched down a little as I walked, to examine his shoes.

'They're all dirty and ripped. If he wears such messy clothes like this, then how is he even in this school? How are the teachers letting him walk around like that? Well, not that I care. He seems kinda-'

"What are you doing?"

I froze as I look up at the boy who must've caught onto the fact I was examining him and turned to face me.

This was where I got a good look at his face.

'Pale skin, dark eyes with very noticeable eyebags under them. Wow! This dude is hot! I'm walking with a hot guy!'

"Hey, I asked you a question!"

I flinched as the boy, who was called Ryuzaki, raised his voice at me.

"Were you examining me?" He narrowed his eyes

I quickly stood up and gripped onto my long black skirt.

"U-Uh...no...I-I just d-dropped my p-pencil and went to p-pick it up" I say, sweat dripping off my forehead as I blush madly.

He just looked at me and didn't say anything then turned back around and headed to the art department.
I followed behind, normally.

-Soon-

"Alright, so you two haven't done the portraits I asked you to do for yesterday since you were both absent from school, correct?" Mr Thomas asked.

"Yes" Ryuzaki said.

"Um...yes" I reply.

"Alright, well I'd like you to finish them now. I can't wait any longer for these. You can use the room next door to work on them. Have fun."

Mr Thomas handed us a canvas and we went to the room next door to set up everything.

It was annoying how I had to draw someone I didn't even know. But that's the thing with being a loner, no one wants to be your partner so you get paired up with a random dude.

I sat down in front of Ryuzaki and picked up my pencil. I let out a small sigh and peer over my canvas to get a good look at him so I knew where to start.

But once I peered over, I found Ryuzaki glaring directly into my eyes.

'W-What the hell is he glaring at me for?!' I thought, surprised.

It was then I noticed a tint of red in his cheeks...

I went to look closer at him just in case it was my mind playing tricks on me, but he just shook his head and then went back to drawing.

'Oh, he obviously needs to see me to be able to draw me, idiot.'

'But was he...blushing? Was he getting flustered cause he likes me and wants to go out with me? Did he think something dirty?!'

I then get really flustered myself and shake away my thoughts before I began my own drawing.

The two of us had been drawing for hours now and to be honest, I hadn't made much progress with mine.

"Well, I'm done. I'm gonna get going" Ryuzaki said and stood up, heading to the door.

"U-Uh wait! I'm n-not done y-yet!" I say.

He turned back around.

"Oh, are you still drawing? Sorry."

He then sat back down at his seat and smiled at me.

"Th-Thanks" I reply.

I went back to drawing Ryuzaki. I kept looking over to him to see what other parts I had to draw but I kept seeing him smiling at me which made me a little uncomfortable.

"Th-There!" I say. "I'm f-finished!"

"Cool. Let's go and hand these drawings to Mr Thomas" Ryuzaki said.

I nod and we both get up to walk out the classroom, when all of a sudden Ryuzaki's phone goes off. He picks it up and answers it.

"Hello? Watari?"

'Who?' I tilt my head in confusion.

"Yes, I'm just finishing up now. I'll see you in a few minutes" Ryuzaki said and hung up before turning to face me.

"Sorry about this, but can I ask you to take my drawing back to Mr Thomas along with your own?" He asked. "I have to attend to an important emergency."

"Oh, uh okay."

Ryuzaki handed me his drawing then ran off and left me.

He's such a mysterious person. I wanna know more about him.

I looked down at his drawing that was folded up.

'Should I?' I ask myself.

I then shrug and unfold his drawing.

My eyes widened at the sight.

'It's...It's BEAUTIFUL!'

It was incredible! He got every detail correct and he even made my eyes shine like what they do in an anime!
He also gave me a beautiful smile and added blush to my cheeks.

'I look so cute! Is that really what he sees in me?!'

I suddenly realise that I was just standing in the middle of the classroom staring at a drawing and quickly leave to Mr Thomas' office.

"Ah, (Y/N). Good to see you. Did you get the portraits done?" He asked.

I nod and hand him the drawings.

"Awesome, good job. You're free to leave now (Y/N)."

"U-Um...Before I go..." I start.
"C-Can I have a c-copy of that d-drawing?" I ask, pointing to Ryuzaki's drawing and gripping onto my long skirt.

-3 days later-

It was the start of school and I was sitting on a bench alone eating a chocolate bar.

'I'm so happy' I think to myself. 'I managed to get a copy of that drawing. I can't believe he made me look so cute! He's such a cutie!'

I then start laughing to myself.

"Hey, you okay?"

I then shoot up from my seat, hearing the voice behind me.

'Uh oh! Someone heard me laughing?! Is someone sneaking up on me?! Stalker alert!'

"Good to see you again (Y/N)."

I quickly turn around to see Ryuzaki standing before me, smiling.

"I...Wha...?"

"Thanks again for taking my drawing in for me" he said.

"Yeah, n-no problem!" I say, blushing.

"Well, I'll see you later" Ryuzaki went to walk away but I stopped him by grabbing his sleeve.

"What's wrong (Y/N)?" He asked.

I gripped onto my skirt again and looked at the ground.

"I...uh...I saw your d-drawing a-and I really like it. Th-Thank you" I say.

"I'm glad you like it" he replied.

"B-But, you changed it up a little b-bit and I-I wanna know why!"

"Oh, why I gave you a pretty smile and sparkly eyes? It's because you are kinda cute (Y/N)" Ryuzaki replied.

'HE THINKS I'M CUTE??! I KNEW IT! HE WAS JUST KEEPING IT A SECRET CAUSE HE'S SHY! I KNEW IT!'

"O-Oh, r-really?" I look away and scratch my head.

"Of course."

The school bell then rang, which kinda ruined the moment.

"Sorry (Y/N), I gotta go" Ryuzaki said. "I'll talk to you soon okay?"

And with that, he left me standing there in a daze.

"I knew he liked me!"

"And that's how we met!" I say to Misa and Matsuda.

"Wow...you seemed like a very shy person (Y/N)" Matsuda said.

"I was."

"That just added to your cuteness" L said, wrapping an arm around you.

"So when did you find out he was L?" Misa asked.

"It took a while for him to fully trust me. Once we started going out, it took L 7 months to tell me he was L" I say.

"I had to make sure I could fully trust (Y/N) and I realised that she had opened up about everything to me, despite her being very shy. She really did trust me, so it was time I did the same" L stated.

"That's so cute" Misa said.

"Okay, but I have to ask, do you still have that drawing (Y/N)?" Matsuda asked.

"Of course I do! It's a memory I have treasured since I got it! I'll bring it in to show you all if you like."

"Sure!" Matsuda and Misa said.

"What?! No! Please don't! I drew that when I was 13!" L said.

"I wanna see it!" Misa said.

"Me too!" Matsuda said.

"See? It won't hurt to show them!" I say to L.

"It's embarrassing!" L said, covering his face.

"Aww, look at L getting all shy!" Misa cooed.

"I'm not getting shy!" L said.

Misa, Matsuda and I just started laughing.

"Well, if that's the case, I'll just show them the drawing you did of me!" L said to me making me freeze.

"Y-You have it?"

"Yep. And I never let you know, until now" L said, folding his arms.

It was silent for a while as L smirked at me.

"You wouldn't dare..." I said to L.

"Oh I would dare" L replied. "In fact, I have the drawing with me right now. I'll go get it."

"NO!"

I then chase after L, while Misa and Matsuda just laugh.

"Those two are perfect for each other" Misa said.

(A/N): Okay, so I apologise for not being active in the last couple of days but college has started again and I'm having lots of college work to do and it's very tiring so yeah. I'm gonna try and update regularly but I apologise if I can't.
