(A/N): I couldn't think of another title XD

(Y/N)'s Pov

L and I were out at some kind of festival today. I told him I really wanted to go, and so I pretty much begged him to come with me. He eventually agreed!

We had been around a lot of stalls, buying sweets and playing lots of games!

We were about to leave for home, when I spotted a certain game.

"L! I really wanna go here next!" I shout, pointing to the game.

It was a game of darts. You had to score a certain amount of points or more, to win a giant teddy!

"But (Y/N), we have already played many games, and we have work to do-"

"But I wanna!!" I whine at him.

L sighed.

"Fine. If it'll make you happy".

"Yay!" I grab L's arm and drag him to the game.

"Here you go!" The man at the game, gave me three darts. "Give it your best shot!"

"Here I go! Watch me L!" I say to him, positioning myself with the darts.

"I'm watching", L said, folding his arms.

I threw the first dart.

I missed the dart board.

"Crap..." I mumbled under my breath.

I threw the second dart.

I hit 8 points.

"Man! I suck!" I shout.

I crossed my heart with my hand and threw my final dart with the other.
I had some hope in this one.

12 points...

All that together, was a total of 20!

"Better luck next time malady", the man said, taking the darts.

"Aww!" I looked at the ground in disappointment and defeat.

"Unlucky (Y/N). Come on, let's go home", L wrapped an arm around my shoulder and we walked away from the game.

"I really wanted to win a giant teddy!" I cry.

"It's alright (Y/N)", L said.

"I suck at darts!" I stare at the ground again.

"You did your best. That's all you can do", L said to me.

I knock L's arm off my shoulder and walked off myself, leaving L behind.

L's Pov

'Goodness! Does a teddy mean that much to her?' I thought.

Well, this is (Y/N). She loves plush toys and cuddly things.

I also don't like to see her upset like this.

I sigh, and turn back to the game.

"I'll have a go", I say to the man.

"Alright mate", he said, giving me the darts.

I didn't know how to position myself. It was quite difficult with me having a very slouched back, but I just went with what was comfortable for me.
I had also never played darts before. I just watched how (Y/N) played and I am going to try and copy how she threw the darts.
Only this time, I hope my score is higher than (Y/N)'s.

Now, the target score was 100 points...

I threw the first dart.

Right in the middle!

"Wow! 25 points! Good job dude!" The man clapped.

I threw the second dart.

"A single 20!" The man said.

Okay, that's 45 points...

If I could just hit the triple 20...

I threw the final dart...

'Come on! For (Y/N)!' I thought.

"Triple 20!! You did it mate!" The man yelled.

45+60=105!

I did it...

"Here! This is yours!" The man gave me a giant panda bear.

"Thank you", I say, walking away and carrying the huge thing.

Now to find (Y/N).

She didn't seem to be here...

"Hmm..." I looked around until I spotted her on a bench eating popcorn.

I walk over to her.

"Here", I handed her the teddy.

(Y/N) dropped her popcorn and her eyes lit up.

"I won it for you", I say.

She jumped up and hugged me.

"Oh my god! Thank you so much L! You're the best!" She said, taking the teddy off me.

She snuggled into it and giggled as the two of us walked home.

"I'm gonna call you Lawliet!!" (Y/N) said, holding the giant panda bear in the air.

I flinched at the sound of my own name.

"Why that name?" I ask.

"Because you look like a panda!" (Y/N) turned to me and giggled. "Plus, I can cuddle into this if I get lonely at night, and you're still working!"

I felt my cheeks heat up.

"R-Really? I see", I look at the ground.

"Come on! Let's go home now!" (Y/N) grabbed my hand and held it tight.
