"Miss (L/N)!" Your boss called you out.

"Yes sir?" You reply.

"I need you to do something for me. I need you to go on an undercover mission to catch a criminal".

Your boss showed you a photo of the criminal you were gonna be looking out for. His name was Ryan Harris. You knew about this man.
He had been charged for sexual assault and also got caught stealing. You managed to arrest him, but he managed to escape and tried to rob a bank but was unsuccessful and attacked a woman. He was a horrible person, and he was very dangerous.

"I understand. Can you confirm his whereabouts for me?" You ask.

"He's going to be attending a small party at a place known as Coco's Bar. You need to go there and stop him from causing anymore crimes", your boss said.

"I understand. I'll leave immediately", you turn to leave for your car, when you are stopped.

"Wait Miss (L/N)! This party is going to be filled with young adults aged 16 to 20. You gotta make sure you blend in with those people so no one suspects you are a police officer", your boss pointed out, handing you some clothes.
"Please wear these clothes".

You took the clothes and inspected them:
A long sleeved white buttoned up shirt with a collar, a red tie, a very short skirt, and boots that looked like they would come up to your knees!

You mentally cringed at the sight of those clothes. Whatever party you would be attending, it was probably gonna be filled with sluts and weirdos.

"Make sure to tie your hair in pigtails too. It'll help make you look the part", your boss pointed out.
(A/N): If you have short hair, you can just ignore this sentence.

"Sure", you say. You go to a spare room in the building and get changed.
You style your hair the way you were asked and came out.

"Perfect. You're ready to go", your boss said. "Also, the people there will probably use some sort of slang, so make sure you do that too to blend in more.

You nod. You made sure you had your ID and gun and you made your way to your car. You got in and headed for Coco's Bar.

Once you pulled up outside the bar, you noticed a black car that looked too fancy to belong to any normal person.

'Is some other police officer here to look for Ryan too?' You thought to yourself.

You got out and made your way inside the bar, where you spotted hundreds of young people drinking, smoking, playing pool, dancing and some were even making out on tables or against walls.

'I just arrived and already I feel extremely uncomfortable!' You say.
'But there are hundreds of people here. It will be difficult to find the person I'm looking for'.

You looked around for a bit for something to do in a way to blend in.

"You okay love?"

You turn around at the sound of a voice behind you. You see a woman who looked around the same age as you. She had short blue hair with a finge that covered one of her eyes.
She was wearing a short sleeved buttoned up shirt with a collar. She wasn't wearing a tie, but she was also wearing a very short skirt and boots that came up to her knees. She was wearing dark blue lipstick and eyeshadow too.

You studied her as she approached you and waved her hand in your face.

"Excuse me love? You alright?"
She asked again, snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Oh! Yeah! I'm fine", you reply.

"Sick party huh?! I'm absolutely lovin' it!"

"Uh...Yeah! So sick!" You say, making a weird symbol with your fingers, trying to blend in as much as possible.

"Girl, I like you already!" The woman said. "What's your name?"

'It might be better to give a fake name instead of my real name. Just to be on the safe side'.

"My name's Sophie!" You say.

"Nice. My name's Sharon! Come on Sophie, I'll buy you a drink", Sharon grabs your arm, but you stop her.

"S-Sorry! I can't drink today", you say.

"Why not? You're at a party Sophie girl! You gotta have a few drinks!" Sharon laughed.

"I can't...cause I'm driving home today...Gotta stay sober", you say, starting to sweat as you think she might be getting suspicious of you.

"Oh I get it girl!" Sharon laughed.
"Okay then!"

"Yo Sharon! Come and play beer pong with us!" A voice says from behind Sharon.

"Sure boys! Be there in a sec!" Sharon calls. "Nice meeting ya Sophie! See ya!"

Sharon then left to join her friends and you let out a sigh. She honestly seemed like a nice person.

'What to do now?' You ask.

You weren't really a party person, so you had no idea what you were doing.

Soon, you heard the song change into a more slower song. You watch as couples ran to the dance floor and danced with each other.
You found a spare table and sat down.

'I haven't been able to spot Ryan yet', you say, sighing again and resting your head on the table.

You soon hear another person sit next to you.

Was it Sharon?

You look up, only to see that it wasn't Sharon, but a man instead. You carefully studied him...
Shaggy black hair, dark eyes with extremely dark bags under them, pale skin. He was wearing a suit, and he was sitting in a weird position on the chair beside you.

He seemed...familiar...

"Can I help you?" You ask the mysterious man quietly.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't even notice you were sitting there", he replied quietly.
"I can move if you want".

"I don't mind", you say.

"I guess you're not one for dancing?" The man asked.

"No", you simply reply.

"I see. Me neither".

'Hmm...'

"What's your name?" You ask.

"Ryuzaki", was his reply.

"My name is Sophie", you say.

You notice him tense up a little.

'What's with this guy?!' You thought.

"Why are you tensing up?" You ask, tilting your head in confusion. "Got a chill?"

"No", Ryuzaki replied. "It's just..."

"What?"

"I know you..."

You gasp and shoot out of your seat, about to grab your gun as it could be Ryan, but Ryuzaki stopped you.

"Don't! You'll cause a scene!" He said.
"Calm down (Y/N). I'm not Ryan".

Your eyes widened at the sound of your name and you sit back down. The only person who knows your real name is...

"L...?" You whisper quietly.

He nodded.

"Wow. Sorry about that", you say. "I'm not used to seeing you dressed like this".

"I'm not used to seeing you dressed like that", L replied.

"So...I guess you're looking for Ryan too?" You ask.

"Correct. I didn't think I'd run into you though", L said.

You giggle lightly.

"I've not had any luck finding him though", L said, a little frustrated.

"Hey, don't worry. We'll find him. We just have to work together and try harder!" You say.

You notice L smile lightly at you.

"You're always so enthusiastic (Y/N)", he said, causing you to blush a little.

Soon, the two of you spot Sharon come back over.

"Yo Sophie! Come play pool with me and my mates!" She said, before noticing L and her green eyes widened.

"Ooh! Sophie! Who's this handsome hunk over here?" She cooed, causing L to flinch a little.

"H-Hi Sharon. This is Ryuzaki", you say. "He's...my boyfriend...He arrived slightly later..."

You notice L slightly jump as his cheeks go slightly red. You nudge him to try and signal for him to go along with it and don't flinch as it will look suspicious.

"Oh really?! Hell yeah Sophie girl! You got good taste love!" Sharon says, still staring at L. "I'm Sharon by the way!"

"Y-Yeah! We've been together for half a year now!" You lie.

"That's awesome girl! Me and my boyfriend have been together for a full year!" Sharon says.

"L-Lucky you", L says.

"Yup! Now come on Sophie girl! Let's go play pool!" Sharon says.

"G-Give me a minute then!" You say.

"Kay then girl! Me and my mates will be waiting for ya!"

Sharon then left for the pool table.

"Sorry about that L", you say, scratching the back of your head. "It was the only thing I could thi-"

"This Sharon girl seems suspicious", L said, putting a thumb to his lip.

"You think so?" You ask, standing up.
"I think she seems quite nice".

"I'll be keeping a close eye on Sharon and her friends, so I want you to be careful around her (Y/N)", L stated.

"I understand", you say as you make your way over to join Sharon and her friends.

You play your game of pool as L watches all of you from the table.

"Awesome Sophie girl! You sure know how to play!" Sharon said, pretty impressed.

"Yeah, I used to play pool all the time", you say.

"Yo Sophie girl, I think we'd be pretty good pals! What d'you think?" Sharon asks, giving you a small smile.

"Sure girl!" You say, returning the smile.

"Awesome! Got a new pal!" Sharon says, wrapping an arm around your shoulders.
You giggle lightly.

"Kay, I'm off to get another drink! Be back in a sec my dudes!" Sharon walked off to the bar with a few of her friends as you walk back to L.

"Did you observe anything?" You ask.

"My suspicion of Sharon has increased by 35%", L stated.
"Please keep this in mind and be extra careful around her".

"Yeah okay. What are we gonna do now?" You ask. "We still haven't spotted anyone who resembles Ryan".

"We have...to blend in more", L said, standing up.

"Huh?"

L grabbed your hand and led you towards the dance floor.

"If we blend in with these people here, I'm sure we could find a lead", he said.

"Uh...O-Okay..." You reply, blushing.

You then let out a small gasp as L wrapped an arm around your waist.

"What? You said I was your boyfriend, so why are you getting so flustered?" L said with a small smirk on his face.

You didn't answer and just started to dance with L, keeping an eye on each area of the room for anything overly suspicious.

You then spot Sharon and her small group of friends. They all seemed to be entering the woman's toilets.

'Weird...There's boys there too...' You thought.

As you and L were dancing together, you gently pull at L's sleeve, causing his attention to be drawn straight to you.

"You spotted something (Y/N)?"

You nod and point to the female toilets.

"Sharon and all of her friends went in there. It seemed weird as there were boys that went in there too", you say.

"I knew she was suspicious", L said. "Alright, we'll need to check over there without drawing attention to ourselves".

The two of you make your way off the dance floor and towards the female toilets.
Once you got there, the two of you pressed your ears against the door to hear there conversation.

"The two of them are police officers!"
