(Y/N)'s Pov

"Okay! I'll see you real soon! Can't wait to finally meet you!" I say, as I close my laptop lid.

Today was the day! I was finally going to meet the man behind the screen! The man I had been in an internet relationship with for almost 4 months now! L!

"I better dress myself up in some nice clothes!" I say to myself, rushing to my wardrobe.

I wasn't gonna go overboard. I knew L wouldn't like that. So I just wore my favourite (F/C) shirt and blue skinny jeans.

I was really excited but at the same time, I felt nervous!
What if I was different from what he was expecting?
What if I do something stupid and he doesn't like me?

We had made various calls before, but L never let me see his face. It was just a fancy looking L letter on the screen.
I got really close to L though, even if I hadn't actually seen his face.

I glanced over at my clock as I was putting my shoes on.

5:45pm.

Not long now.

I headed outside and made my way to a park. We had agreed to meet there as we both knew the place.
It took me a while to get there though as I lived quite far away from it. Judging by this, I thought that L must live closer to this park.

I stood there patiently waiting for him to arrive. I was getting more nervous now. I started fiddling with my (H/C) hair.

I kept thinking about what he looked like. He sounded like a young man. Around my age.

I stare at my watch.

5:55pm...

He should be here real soon...!

"Excuse me?" I heard a man's voice from behind me.

I jump and turn around to face the man. I looked him up and down. He had shaggy black hair and extremely pale skin! Like he never left his house!
He had really dark eye bags, almost as if he had never gotten any sleep.
He was dressed in a loose fit long sleeved shirt and baggy blue jeans.
I also realised he was wearing really scruffy shoes, but with no socks.

He looked around my age too.

Such a strange looking man...But he did look kinda cute!

"Are you alright?" He asked.

Wait! I recognise that voice!

"C-Can I help you?" I asked.

Was this L?!

The man didn't answer my question.
Except, his eyes widened and he covered his mouth, stepping back.

"Uh...Sir...?" I stepped back too.

"(Y-Y/N)?! Is that you?!" He asked.

Now my eyes widened!

"L...?!" I managed to say in surprise.

He nodded.

I covered my mouth. I couldn't believe it! He was a lot different from what I expected!

"Oh my-"

I was cut off by L wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into a tight hug. I blush a little. He must have been dying to see me!

I return the hug. He felt so warm!

"I can't believe I've finally met you (Y/N)!" L said. "You look so much more beautiful in real life!"

I blush even more.

"You're a lot more cuter than I thought too!" I reply giggling.

L broke the hug. He looked down at the ground, blushing.

"Y-You think I'm cute?" He asked.

"Of course! You look a lot better than I expected!" I smile.

"No one's ever said that to me before", L said. "Thank you (Y/N)".

I had only met L for about 3 minutes, but I was already head over heels in love with him! He's so cute! I got lucky!

"I never expected you to look this beautiful either (Y/N)", L said. "I've only seen one photo of you. You look amazing".

I blushed more at his words and giggle shyly.

L grabbed my hands.

"I've waited 4 months for this", L said.

With that, he pulled me into a sweet and gentle kiss, surprising me at first but I soon melted into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck.

We stayed like that for what felt like forever until we had to break away for air.

"You're a really good kisser", L says.

"You too", I reply, giggling again.

"I can't believe this is happening", L said.

"Me neither. It's almost too good to be true!" I say.

"(Y/N)?"

"Yes?"

"I...I love you".

It felt a lot better to hear L say it to me face to face, instead of over the computer. I was getting butterflies in my stomach!

"I love you too L!" I say, kissing his cheek and blushing.

"You know...It feels a lot better to hear you say that face to face", L said.

"Yeah!"

We continued to talk for a while, just getting used to each other and finding out more about each other.
I already knew that I was going to love spending time with L. He was a lot different from any boy I have met before, and that was a good thing. I like people who are different.

"It's getting late (Y/N). You should get home", L said.

"Oh...yeah", I was a little upset that the day was over already.

"Don't worry. I'll meet up with you again real soon", L said, putting his hands on my shoulders.

I nodded with a smile.

"Goodnight (Y/N)".

"Goodnight L".

And with that, we shared another kiss.

"It was a pleasure to finally meet you (Y/N) (L/N)", L said, as we broke away.
