(A/N): I have never been to Amsterdam before. I just wrote this story on what I have heard about Amsterdam.

(Y/N)'s Pov

L and I were working on a murder case in Amsterdam. We've been here for 3 days and we managed to catch the killer. He was very easy to find. He didn't think when he decided to kill someone.

Anyways, now that the case closed very quickly, I decided that L and I should explore Amsterdam and see what it's like! I mean, I've never been here before so it was a good way to spend time with L!
L agreed. He had been here before.

"Amsterdam is a really awesome place!" I said.

"Yes, it is", L said.

"Where should we explore next?!" I asked, excited.

"I know. Follow me and close your eyes", L grabbed my hand and led me somewhere.

"Huh? Oh okay!" I closed my eyes.

-Soon-

"Where are we going?" I asked L.

"You'll see", L said.

We soon stopped.

"Alright. We're here. You can open your eyes now".

I opened my eyes.

We were at some kind of bridge. It was covered with padlocks with people's names on them.

"Wow! This is cool!" I say.

"That's not all. Take a look there", L pointed to a padlock.

I looked at it.

"Oh wow! These people have the exact same name as us!" I shout, examining the padlock.

The padlock had the names:
(Y/N) and Lawliet printed on it!

L chuckled.

"Turn it over (Y/N)", he said.

"Huh?"

I turned the padlock over...

"Will you...marry me?!" I read.

I turned to L, who was on one knee holding an open box with a ring inside.

"I planned everything out (Y/N)", he said, smiling. "I had those words printed onto it".

I gasped and covered my mouth, tears forming in my eyes.

"Oh my god! YES!!" I cry.

I run to L and hug him tightly, as I start to cry tears of joy!

L kissed me and I kissed back.

"I love you (Y/N)", he whispered.

"I-I love you too!!" I whisper through my tears.

Other people who were walking past, stopped by us and took pictures of us!

A young woman came over to us.

"I'll send you these pictures if you like", she said to me with a warm smile.

"Thank you! Here's my Email address", I say to the woman, with a smile as I give her my Email address.

"There! I've sent them to you, miss! Congratulations to the two of you!"

"Thank you so much!" I say, as I start crying again.

Everyone cheered for L and me.

"I never predicted that part", L chuckled as he wrapped an arm around me.

"I'm so happy! Thank you so much Lawliet!" I turn to L and hug him tightly.

"I'm happy too (Y/N). I love you", he said.

"I love you too Lawliet!"

And that padlock will be on that bridge forever! So no one can forget!
