(Y/N)'s Pov

"Thank you very much Ryuzaki!" I say to him.

L was helping me out with my studies. Although I was working on the Kira case, I was still a college student.

"Do you understand it now?" L asked me.

"Yeah!" I gave him a small smile.

"Good. Try and do the rest by yourself then", he said.

"Okay!" I began writing some more.
I was really getting the hang of it!

L and I were pretty close friends and he helped me out a lot of the time. We're growing closer by the days.

But the thing is, I've started to think of L as more than just a friend.

I...formed a crush on him...

I just couldn't tell him though. He probably wouldn't understand. L doesn't really understand human feelings...

"Well done (Y/N)", L said to me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"You've got the hang of it".

I looked at my paper.

"Oh! Yeah! It seems I have!" I laugh a little.

"Good work. Now, I should get back to the taskforce", L got up and made his way to the door.

"Wait Ryuzaki!" I stopped him.

L stopped and turned to face me.

"What is it (Y/N)?"

'Crap! I don't know what to do now! I stopped him without thinking', I thought.

"Uh...I need to tell you something", I say, fiddling with my (H/C) hair.

L sat back down on my bed, in his usual sitting position.

"What's wrong (Y/N)?" He asked, looking concerned.

'Come on (Y/N)! After all this time, you can do it!'

"I...I like you Ryuzaki!!" I blurted out, covering my mouth as I felt my cheeks heat up!

L tilted his head and gave me a small smile.

"I like you too (Y/N)", he said.

I shot my attention to L.

"Wh-What?!" I yelp.

"We do have a very close friendship".

'Wow. He couldn't click onto it.' I thought.

"No! It's not that!" I whisper yelled.

"Huh?"

"I like you...more than a friend".

"So...a best friend?"

'God! He's useless!' I thought.

"No...As a...boyfriend..." I say, blushing more as I play with my hair again.

L's eyes widened.

"Really?" He asked, putting a finger to his lip.

I looked up at him and nodded.

"You've been really helpful Ryuzaki, and we seem to be getting closer day by day. I...kinda formed a crush on you..."

I looked straight at him.

"I...I love you L!" I say.

"I see...Love..." L looked at the floor.

"But...you probably won't understand...You said it yourself that you find it hard to understand human feelings", I say to him.

I was about to turn to my computer, when I felt L's arms wrap around me and I was pulled into his chest.

"Well...I don't know how to love...but I found out how to do this online. Apparently it's called a hug, and friends normally do it".

"Y-Yeah!" I say, laughing nervously, still surprised from the sudden hug.

"(Y/N)...I do like you more than just a friend too, so...can you teach me how to love?" L asked.

I blushed more as I look up at him. I could see his cheeks go a little pink too. Cute!

"Sure!" I say, smiling at him.

"Thank you", he replied, pulling me closer.

I hug L back.

"I...love you (Y/N)", L said.

"I love you too Ryuzaki!" I reply.
