(Y/N)'s Pov

I sigh happily as I type more and more on my phone.

I was creating a story on Wattpad!

"What are you doing (Y/N)?" L rolled his chair over to me and tried to peer over my shoulder.

I quickly hide my phone.

"N-Nothing! I'm working!" I say, beginning to type a load of rubbish on my laptop so it looked like I was doing something.

"Don't lie to me. What were you doing?"

"I told you! Nothing!"

L turned my chair around to face him.

"Why are you hiding your phone? Are you hiding something from me? This makes me suspect you as being Kira (Y/N)", he said in a very serious tone.

"But I'm not Kira!" I say to him.

"Prove it to me then. Show me your phone", L held out his hand.

"Wh-What?!"

"Come on".

I sigh. I couldn't do anything now.

"Fine!" I handed L my phone.

"Thank you", L looked into my phone.

"What is this?" He asked, tilting his head.

I peered over his shoulder.
"It's an app, called Wattpad!" I say.

"What?"

"It's an app that let's you read lots of different books for free! You can even create your own stories! It's awesome!" I say, smiling nervously.

"I never knew you liked to read (Y/N)", L said, putting a thumb to his lip.

"W-Well, I only really read specific things!" I say, laughing nervously and scratching the back of my head.

"And what are these?" L asked.

I looked over L's shoulder.

He was looking at all my stories in my library!!

"Nothing of your concern!!" I shout, snatching my phone from L's fingers.

"(Y/N)", L gave me a serious look. "I don't like when you hide things from me".

"W-Well-"

"And why is your face going pink?" L tilted his head at me.

I hesitated.

"It's embarrassing..." I whisper.

"What is? Show me (Y/N)".

"Fine", I showed him the stories on my library.

They were all L X Reader stories.

I blushed more, then brought my phone close to my chest.

"There! I showed you!" I shout, looking at the floor.

L was silent.

'Say something! I don't like this awkward silence!' I thought.

"So...you like to read stories about me?" L asked finally.

"Well..."

"I see..." L looked down at the floor.

"Sorry..." I whispered.

"No, it's alright. But tell me (Y/N)", L looked up at me, "Why do you read about me? I'm not interesting at all".

I shot my attention to him.

"That's not true!!" I say, rolling over to him. "You're a very interesting person and you've been through a lot! And you're really cute-"

I gasped and covered my mouth.

'What did I just say?! I can't say that in front of L!!!'

"I'm...cute?" L said, scratching his head.

"Well...yeah! You look like a panda!" I say, giving him a smile, even though I was blushing madly!

"I look nothing like a panda", L said.

"You do! But, that's besides the point. That's why I read about you..." I look away and fold my arms to try and hide my embarrassment.

"You...really take an interest in me...don't you (Y/N)?" L asked, looking up at me and smiling slightly, causing me to cover my mouth and make a small squeal of embarrassment.

L chuckled a little, and came closer to me.

"I'm grateful. Thank you (Y/N)"

He then leaned in and kissed my cheek.

"I like you too (Y/N)", he said.

I couldn't contain my embarrassment or my fangirling anymore! I squealed again and hugged L!

"Only next time, let me know if you're gonna read anything weird about me (Y/N)".

"H-Huh?"

"I spotted something that said 'lemons' and you were also writing a story about m-"

"SHIT!!" I covered L's mouth. "Don't say anything!"

I then got up and made a run out the door of the taskforce! I couldn't face L questioning me about the lemon fanfics I read!!

L's Pov

I chuckled.

"I know how you feel about me (Y/N). I can figure you out easily", I say to myself.

I look at my feet.

"I never thought you would fall for me though. Out of everyone".

I smile.

"But I'm glad. Because I meant what I said".

"I like you (Y/N) (L/N)".
