(Y/N)'s Pov

"See you guys tomorrow!" I wave goodbye to the members of the taskforce and head for home.

"What a busy day I had!" I say to myself as I walk home, stretching my arms.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a man comes out and blocks my path.
He grabs my arm!

"Perfect!" He yells.

"H-Huh?!" I gasp.

"Shut up and don't move or I'll shoot you!" The man covers my mouth and points a gun to my head!

"Come on boys! Let's go!" The man yelled.

Soon, other men came out of nowhere and made sure I couldn't escape.

'Why is this happening?!' I thought.

I was soon dragged into a car and I was driven away to some unfamiliar place...

-Soon-

I was tied to a chair and all the men were surrounding me.

Soon, another man, which I'm guessing was their boss or leader or whatever, came over to me.
He smirked as he lifted my chin up with his fingers, his face only inches away from mine.

I turned my head away so I didn't have to see the disgusting man.

"Well well. Good job boys! You caught a good one!" He said stepping back from me.

"Just what is that supposed to mean?" I asked in disgust.

"Tell me everything you know about the famous detective known as L!" The leader said.

"What?" I replied.

"You heard me! Speak up!" The leader pointed a gun to me.

"I-I don't work for him!" I lied. "You've got it all wrong!"

"Oh really? How about we give him a call then, shall we?" The leader smirked and pulled out a phone from his pocket.

Wait! That was my phone!!

"Oh look! A private number!" He said, calling the number and putting the phone to his ear.

"HEY!!" I yell.

"Shut it!" The leader kicked me in the face.

L's Pov

"Oh, it's a call from (Y/N)", I say, picking up my cell phone.

"Ooh! I bet that means something special!" Matsuda said, elbowing me and making a really weird face.

"Don't get the wrong idea", I say, putting the phone to my ear.

"Yes?"

"Greetings. It's a pleasure to finally talk to you, L!" A man on the other line spoke.

My eyes widened.

I put the call on speaker so everyone could hear it for themselves.

"You're probably wondering where your friend is. Don't worry. She's safe with us", the man laughed.

'He has (Y/N)!'

"I'll make a deal. Come to the yellow box warehouse in an hour and we'll give you your friend back. But, I want it to be you L! And only you! If I find out you've tricked me by using a proxy instead, I'll kill this girl!"

He hung up after that...

"That's horrible! They kidnapped (Y/N)!" Matsuda said.

"What are we gonna do Ryuzaki?" Aizawa asked.

"I have a plan", I began. "We're going to save (Y/N)!"

(Y/N)'s Pov

"You're only doing this to find out L's identity?!" I shout.

"When we find L's identity, we'll make it public, so he can't hide in the shadows anymore! That should put lots of pressure on him!" The idiot leader laughed.

"You fool! L will see right through your plan!" I shout, which resulted in another kick to the face.

"Shut up, brat!" He said.

-Soon-

L's Pov

"Does everyone remember the plan?" Light asked everyone, who nodded back.

"Good. Let's do it", I say.

Everyone split themselves up. It was just myself and Light.

"Come on, let's go Light", I say.

Light nodded as we both opened the door to the warehouse.

I saw all the men surrounding (Y/N), who was sitting in a chair with her mouth covered up and a gun pointed to her head.

"Hey! Why are there two of you?!" The man, who I'm guessing is their leader, shouted at us.

"Now Light!"

Light threw a smoke bomb at the men. They now couldn't see. This was our opportunity to get (Y/N) when they aren't looking.

Luckily for us, I can see through the smoke. I ran over to where (Y/N) was sitting and untied her.

"Come on! Let's get out of here! It's not safe", I say to (Y/N), grabbing her by the arm and running towards the door of the warehouse with her and Light.

"Hey!" One of the men were soon able to see and aimed his gun at us.

"Ryuzaki! They're going to shoot us!" (Y/N) cried.

"Don't worry! We'll make it before they fire!" I replied.

The man fired the gun as we just reached the door.

"Look out!" Light tackled (Y/N) and myself to the ground just in time.

"Dammit! I missed!" The man was going to shoot again, but Light threw another smoke bomb at him.

"Now come on!" I got myself up and helped (Y/N) up.

We hopped into an old macaroon truck that we used to get here.

"Thanks for the rescue guys", (Y/N) said, gasping for breath.

"Not a problem! We're not leaving you behind!" Light said.

"But Ryuzaki! The men had cameras placed around the warehouse! They would have caught you on camera! If they go over the tapes then-"

"That's not a problem (Y/N)", I cut her off.

"Huh?"

"I predicted the men would use cameras to try and reveal my identity. As soon as he said 'I want it to be you L, and only you', I was certain that he wanted to find out my identity. That led me to the conclusion that these men had planted cameras in the warehouse. So I had Matsuda and Aizawa get rid of them", I say, as I start the truck.

And as if on cue, Matsuda and Aizawa walked into the truck carrying a bunch of disabled cameras.

"Wow! You really are amazing L!" (Y/N) said to me.

"Yes. People tell me that often", I say back. "Now we have to get out of here".

The truck sped down the road and away from the warehouse.

Leader Kidnapper's Pov

"Dammit! They got away!" One of my men shout.

"We should have been prepared for the smoke bombs!" Another shouts.

"Now now! Calm down everyone!" I shout, standing on the chair we had our victim in. "We will uncover L's identity! We have cameras, remember?"

Everyone soon cheered at those words.

All except one man.

"Sir, I hate to break it to you, but all the cameras were removed! Probably by L's team. They got us. They saw right through our plan".

"WHAT?!" I snapped.

"That girl was right!" One of the weaker looking men said.

I growled.

"It's not over yet. We will uncover L's identity!!"
