(Y/N)'s Pov

"Uh...Is this really necessary Ryuzaki?" I ask, holding up my arm which had a handcuff around it.

"This is as difficult for me as it is for you (Y/N)", L replied, holding his arm up which had the other handcuff on it.

"You kinda seem like a pervert Ryuzaki. Are you on that side of the fence?" Misa asked L, giving him a smirk.

"I'm not doing this because I want to. It has to be done", L said. "I suspect that (Y/N) is Kira, so we will be together 24 hours a day so I can keep an eye on her".

This was crazy! As much as I liked L, I couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable!
My heart was racing and I started to sweat really badly!

"What's wrong (Y/N)?" L asked.
"You've been staring at me for about a minute".

"I-It's nothing!" I say, looking away and fiddling with the chains.

"How are you two gonna sleep? I can't help but feel curious", Light said.

"I don't sleep. That won't be a problem", L said.

I just stood there and let that question sink in. Me, in bed...with L?!
The thought alone made my face go as red as tomatoes!

"(Y/N)'s getting dirty thoughts!" Misa pointed at me and laughed.

"I-I AM NOT!!!" I yell at her in embarrassment.

"Also, how are you guys gonna use the bathroom? You're both the opposite sex, so..." Light trailed off.

"STOP ASKING QUESTIONS LIKE THAT!!" I yell, covering my face in embarrassment.

"We'll figure something out", L replied.

-Soon-

"Ryuzaki, I need to use the bathroom", I say, dragging him to the bathroom on my floor as it was the closest.

I walk in and was about to close the door, when L walked in too.

"What are you doing?! GET OUT!!" I yell, pushing L out of the bathroom. "PERVERT!! I NEED MY OWN SPACE!!"
I slammed the door in L's face.

"No need to yell (Y/N)", L said, as he sat outside the bathroom door.

I heard L sigh.

"One minute! I'll be out in a second!" I shout.

Soon, I heard footsteps coming towards the door.

The next thing I know, L shouts "Watari!" and attempts to go after him, pulling at the chain and causing me to fall on the floor and him to fall back!

"OW!!" I yell.

"Sorry about that (Y/N)", L said.

-Later-

It was really late and I was lying in bed with L sitting in his usual position typing away on his laptop.
It was quite distracting as the chain of the handcuffs kept clincking on the laptop. Also, L's laptop was extremely bright! I think that was to help him stay awake, but it was keeping me awake too!

"Can't you lower the brightness of the screen?" I ask, rubbing my eyes.

"Okay. Sorry", L lowered the brightness of the screen down a little bit.

"Also, your chain keeps clincking on the laptop".

"Sorry", L moved to another part of the bed to stop that from happening.

"Goodnight Ryuzaki", I say, pulling the covers over me and closing my eyes.

"Mm", was his reply.

Soon, I had to move to get comfortable and I felt my arm pull on the chain, dragging L down.

"(Y-Y/N)!"

"Sorry", I groan.

'I'm never gonna get any sleep at this rate!' I thought.

I finally got comfortable and was just about to go back to sleep when I heard L raise his voice.

"A power cut?!"

I sit up to see L's laptop was off.

"That's not good. I'll have more work to do in the morning", he said.

"We can go and see if we can fix the power downstairs", I say, rubbing my eyes.

"No. It's fine. You should get sleep (Y/N), instead of having me drag you around the place", L replied.

"Alright", I rub my eyes and lay back down.

L placed his laptop on the floor.

"L, you should rest too", I say.

"I can't".

"It's not like you have any work to do at the moment", I request, going over to L and grabbing his arm.

"Well, fine then", L slipped under the covers next to me.

"Goodnight", I say, blushing a little.

"Goodnight", L replied.

'Finally! Sleep at last!' I thought.

I turned around to the right so I could get comfortable again. But of course, I ended up pulling on the chain.

I felt L fall on top of me.

"S-Sorry", I say, sitting up and going bright red.

"It's alright. Sorry", L said, his face going slightly pink too.

I lay back down and try to get back to sleep, but I roll over to find L's nose and my nose both touching.

"This is getting annoying!" I say as I start blushing again.

"I'm sorry, but it has to be done", L says.

"I can't get comfortable!" I say.

"Fine. I'll take the handcuffs off for now, and put them back on in the morning. That means I have to stay awake to keep an eye on you though", L said, unclipping the handcuffs.

I get back into bed and get comfortable as L just sits there, watching me.

L's Pov

I watch (Y/N) sleep.

She looks so...beautiful...

I don't want her to be Kira...

I shake my thoughts away as I stare at my feet and sigh.

I spot (Y/N) roll over to my side. I could see her sleeping face perfectly. I felt my cheeks heat up a little at how cute she looked.

'Stop. You can't feel this way towards a suspect!' I thought, looking away.

I sigh and slowly move closer to (Y/N). I push her hair away from her eyes and push a strain of her hair behind her ear.

"Ryuzaki..." I hear (Y/N) whisper.

I tensed up a little.

C-Can she hear me move?

She kept saying my name in her sleep, causing me to get a little more flustered.

Soon, without even realising myself, I lean in and kiss (Y/N) on the forehead.

I then cover my mouth and move away from (Y/N), slightly.

I look over to her to see her...smiling?

"Thank you..." she whispered.

'I bet she's not even asleep huh?' I thought as my cheeks felt hotter.
