(Y/N)'s Pov

'Man! I'm so bored!' I think to myself.

I had finished all my work for the day and there was nothing else for me to do. I could have gone home, but I didn't want to leave L on his own. I get worried about him sometimes.

Suddenly, I spotted a chess set lying on L's desk.

Perfect!

I rolled over to L's desk and picked up the chess set.

"What are you doing (Y/N)?" L asked.

"L! I challenge you to a game of chess!" I stand up from my seat and wave the chess set in L's face.

"Later (Y/N)", L replied. "I'm very busy. Maybe some other time".

"Loser has to do a forfeit!"

That certainly got L's attention. He turned to face me. He had that stupid smirk on his face.

"A forfeit huh?"

"Yep! Anything the winner wants!"

"You do realize what you're getting yourself into (Y/N), right?" L gave me a devilish smirk. "The last time we played chess, you lost to me three times in a row before you gave up".

"This time will be different!!" I shout.
"I have faith that I am going to win!"

"Alright then (Y/N)", L took the chess set from me and we went to sit on the sofas with the chess set on the coffee table in front of us.

"I'm gonna win, and you're gonna have to give me all your cake!" I say under my breath, but L heard me.

"Excuse me?"

"If I win, you have to give me the rest of your cake for the day!"

"Absolutely not!"

"Absolutely yes! Anything the winner wants, remember?" I put my hands on my hips and glared at L with a devilish smirk on my face.

"Fine then. But that won't happen. You'll just have to guess what your forfeit will be (Y/N)".

"Why you-!"

"Now let's stop wasting time and get on with the game", L said.

"Fine!"

I was playing the black, whilst L was the white.

"White moves first", L said.

"I bet you always go white so you can move first", I say.

"No", L replied, picking up a pawn and moving it.

"Your turn (Y/N)".

My face lit up and I moved a pawn too.

"I can predict your next move (Y/N)", L said.

"Shut up! No you can't!"

L just chuckled at me.

The game had continued for quite some time.

L had managed to get rid of 4 of my pawns, both of my knights, one of my rooks and my two bishops!

I, on the other hand, only managed to get rid of 3 of L's pawns.

"How is this happening?!" I ask, sweat dripping off my forehead.

"I told you (Y/N), I can predict your next move", L said, mocking me.

"Grrr! You and that brain of yours!!" I was starting to get frustrated.

"This is what happens when you challenge the world's greatest detective to a game of chess", L said.

"Shut up L!" I say.

L just chuckled again.

"Your turn again (Y/N)".

"Hmph!"

I moved my last rook.

Hopefully it was a good move!

"Checkmate", L knocked out my king with his bishop.

I had lost...AGAIN!!

"W-What?! NOOO!!" I yell.

"(Y/N), if you hadn't moved your rook there, you could have avoided checkmate", L said. "Too bad".

I stood up and threw the chess board on the floor.

"WHY ARE YOU SO SMART?!" I yell.

"I was raised in Wammy's House", L replied, remaining perfectly calm.

I sigh.

"There's just no beating you, is there?"

"No".

"So then, what's my forfeit", I ask.

"I'm glad you asked", L said, chuckling.

What's he up to now?

L stood up and walked over to me.

"My forfeit is-"

He leaned in closer to me and whispered in my ear:

"-you have to enjoy this".

His voice sent shivers down my spine. It sounded...seductive!

"H-Huh?!"

Before I could do anything, L pressed his lips against mine, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me closer. I was in shock!

But...I kinda liked it!

L broke away and stared into my (E/C) eyes.

"Heh, you don't seem like you're enjoying this (Y/N)", he said, caressing my cheek. "Why don't we try that again?"

L pulled me into another kiss. His hand was behind my head, pushing it to deepen the kiss. Again, I was so embarrassed, but I soon melted into the kiss, wrapping my arms around L's neck and tilting my head slightly.

We then broke away due to lack of air.

"Well then (Y/N). I think you enjoyed that now", L said, smirking.

"Well-"

I was cut off by L throwing me onto the sofa I was sitting on earlier. He then crawled on top of me!

"L...!" I was blushing heavily as L leaned closer to me.

"What? This is all a part of your forfeit (Y/N)", L smirked.

I could feel L's breathing against my skin! It felt like my heart was gonna leap out of my chest! I closed my eyes, in embarrassment, but also because I didn't want him to turn me on!

"I know you can't resist (Y/N)", L said, as he began to lick my cheek and down my jawline.

"L...I..." I didn't want to admit that I was enjoying it but...

L stopped licking me and whispered very quietly in my ear.

"It's Lawliet...my name"

I gasped. Why would he tell me his real name?!

"I wanna hear you say it (Y/N)".

This was a totally different L to me!

L began licking me again.

"I...I..." I put my hands on L's shoulders.

"I can't hear you (Y/N)".

I felt L smirk against my skin.

I then felt his teeth sink into my skin, causing me to yelp!

"Gah!! Lawliet!!"

"Better", L sat up.

"I don't want to play with you anymore (Y/N). Someone may catch us. That won't be good for either of us. And I also have work to do, so I shouldn't get too carried away", L then stood up and went back to his seat, before turning around to me with that stupid smirk on his face and saying:

"I enjoyed that (Y/N). I could tell you did too, you just didn't want to admit it. Maybe we can pick this up again some other time".

He then winked at me and went back to his seat and sat down.

"I hope we can play chess again (Y/N)".

I sat up and wiped L's drool off me with my sleeve.

I...did like that...but...

'I AM NEVER CHALLENGING L TO A GAME OF CHESS AGAIN!!' I thought to myself.
